OMG our First time shopping at Home Goods Home Decor on a Budget!!! Well it's about that time where we are looking to find some home decor ideas and figured we'd hit the mothership since we've never been before!! Get ideas on how to shop on a budget and how to make your home look expensive or how to make decor look expensive on a budget since that's what this place is about right? This is home decor for beginners. Hopefully I can do a 10 ways to make your home look expensive type of video one day but for now watch first time decor shopping in action LOL!! I'm trying to get interior design ideas. These are not the greatest home decor ideas you've ever seen, but hear us chit chat with a few decor tips from Home Goods? I just hope to avoid any common design mistakes so we will see right?

Former homegoods employee here, homegoods is from the same people behind marshalls and tjmax. They carry a lot of the excess products from designer and high end brands. You’ll likely never see anything twice so if you want it buy it then! HomeSense is homegoods but with larger pieces like furniture and chandeliers. The best homegoods to go to are in wealthy areas as they cater to the demographic. If you’re okay with driving further into Long Island try the Westbury and Rockville center ones.

Karen, you are so funny! I have a group of girlfriends who drove from San Antonio, Tx to Austin, Tx to do a HomeGoods Haul. It was crazy! We had the best time and can I tell you there were four women in my SUV with tables, rugs, candles, and every kind of home decor item you could pack inside of a car. We actually had to squeeze into the car! The best time EVER! Enjoy!

HomeGoods has lots of good finds. You will also like HomeSense. When you see anything in those stores you get because it may not be there the next day.
You aint neva lied - - I walked away from my cart for a minute there and came back to find someone digging in it. We were polite, but it could have easily went the other way.
HomeGoods is my favorite! Your expressions were priceless and Michael is my type of guy to shop with! I love how he was looking at items with you and making suggestions on what to do with certain items. Some men would have been so aloof and detached like “sure, whatever you like babe”.
I'm surprised that you haven't been to HomeGoods it is a wonderful store. I've been going to HomeGoods for at least a good 15 years I was there today. I just love it.

Every Home Goods is a little different. Same kind of vibe but some stores have a better quality assortment of things than others. Loved watching you guys shop. So glad you discovered HomeGoods. I have been a shopper there for many years, and am now an employee at one of the companies busiest locations. Furniture and rugs go quick folks, so better to shop in the mornings for those items, and talk to the employees as to when trucks arrive. Another store in the company is HomeSense...similar, but a different feel.
There REALLY are awesome deals at HomeGoods.

Silk is great for your skin and hair weather you are a curly girl or bone straight hair. It is extremely comfortable from summer to winter and it feels lux!

Home Goods is so beyond awesome, I have one within walking distance from where I live although here in the summer I have to take an Uber - it too is one place I like to either go with a friend that likes to take her time shopping or I am happy to go alone so I can spend hours just taking it all in. When our area first went on restricted measures, Home Goods and our local library were the two places I pined for the most.
I recently got jewelry storage from Home goods that looks like birds that are sitting on branches. It's bronze and so pretty. I love Home Goods.

Hi wildchild hi michael they are called strip malls when the stores are not indoors together. I totally get how u feel about shopping to redecorate its just as thrilling as clothes because you are dressing your home. The store is a very good place they had a good selection of well priced merchandise. I was looking forward to seeing everything when you got home but I will wait. OMG! Karen! You are in my HEAVEN store. I cannot believe you had never been. You can find the most wonderful things there. Every season is outrages at Home Goods. Christmas, just saying, AND you went by TJMAXX which is a smaller version of Home Goods as is Marshalls. All owed by the same company!!!! BEST EVER shopping experience at those stores. Another to try out is Tuesday Morning where you find such unusual things and of course Nordstrom Rack. These are all the stores I need in my life. With the pandemic haven’t been able to go but after watching you I need to venture out. Thanks for letting us tag along.
