Hello ngo or anyone who can help me understand this, at 3:28 when setting the equation for the curve there is 2t instead of t in cos and sin, does anyone have the explanation why ? thanks for this great tutorial
Generally mean spiral angle is one of the key parameters defined while designing a Spiral bevel gear. However, I do not see this parameter being used in your modeling method.
After struggling for almost a month, I could able to create the 3D models of Spiral Bevel Crown and Pinion gears. I have used Mean Spiral angle as one of the driving parameters. I will be posting a video tutorial soon. Your video tutorial definitely helped me a lot! Thank you very for your effort and I sincerely appreciate you for this work.
Ananda Kumar can you help me! i want to design a straight bevel gear. i designed profile it on the backcone plane, but it's incorrect, i don't understand. Do you have a toturial video about design bevel gear? you can post it bell me!
Hi Nguyen Phan Van Please visit my channel on TH-cam and you will find a tutorial on Straight teeth bevel gear. Please note the dimensions confer to the standard profile and not Gleason type profile. However, the procedure to be followed will not be very much different. For any further assistance you can always approach me. I shall try my level best to help you.
Ananda Kumar Thanh you very much i shall ask you when i have a problem with my design. i hope you alway hepl me! i come from Vietnam, great to meet you!
"r" is the pitch circle radius as seen in the RIGHT plane. Remember @0:24 the horizontal line was given a dimension of 96 mm which is the PCD of this bevel gear.
well that would be a very great video if there were any explanations or named parameters, so we are able to comprehend the steps and values.
It would be great to see an equation for an involute on the generative surface instead of spline for the profile .

can you please upload the tutorial of pinion gear for this crown gear in case of differential gear box
What is value of t in the equations? please tell me?

Thanks for your watching and comment. I am not sure my method is true. It may be have some problems.
