Johnny Diesel & the Injectors was first album i ever bought & I’m glad it was the first. He was awesome in the band back then & gets better every year. I’ve seen him live a heap of times & he’s one of the best voices in this country
Your voice has got me through so many hard times, But seeing you in person at the Ballarat RED HOT SUMMER TOUR was definitely a dream come true for me. You've been one of my favourite musicians since I was 12. Thanks for being you ❤️
This guy is a fuckin' legend. I first bought the album with this track on the eponymous Johnny Diesel and the Injectors way album back in the 80s, on cassette. It's true, like a Talisker malt whisky this guy gets better with age...paired back, stripped down and dirty, more soul, more meaning and more feel he don't need brother in law Jimmy to help him along, he's a genuine blues legend in his own right, massively under rated and under played I'll always nab the chance to see Mark play live.
Still a legend after all these years. I went to his concert in Sydney at the Hordern Pavillion in like 1988. Great concert then and still great and more mature musically.
A great Aussie, always one of my favourite performers and from my temp home here in Cornwall Ontario it stops me from feeling home sick when I can listen to the sounds of home such as this guy..
I think you're right - he IS getting better! Such a lovely bloke too , thanks for watching. Share the link round - this performance deserves to be seen. :)
I love Johnny however if I can be a little critical is that he uses the American twang to much which (country music) just puts me of a fraction...other that that he is brilliant!
Song of my youth
Takes me back to those days that song
Great version
Power and passion 💪
Australia's most underrated performer.

He is technically American. And has lived and worked there ....
This guy is simply pure talent. There is a poor effort Diesel cover band called 'Shannon Noll' - anybody heard of 'em?
Shannon is his own man. Both great. Diesel greater because of longevity .. :-)
want to be muso's take note.!!
Grouse.
