James Ignatowich (Sigma Chi): The tall guy white hat started playing Oct. 23rd 2021. D1 tennis player who played for Vanderbilt. He had ATP points in doubles. He reached the quarters in doubles of a 25k. ATP world ranked in doubles.
Anna Bright: The girl started the same day Oct. 23rd 2021. She played tennis at Cal. She graduated #2 recruit in the country from high school.
Jimmy G: Tank top. Started playing in early 2021.
I am always wearing white and was introduced to the game back in 2016.
@bionicpickleball
This video aged well! Anna and James Top Players right now!
That woman has some serious skills. Strokes are clean and her hands are incredible. She’ll be playing Pro in no time 👏🏿
Doubt it. Don’t think she has a future in this pickle game

Anna Bright has great future in pickleball tournaments.
Yeah! She's currently drafted in an MLP Team! Can't wait to watch everyone in action June 3rd! 🤩
All 4 are great athletes, they are great Pickleball players!! Great video, shows all the action. Quick reactions at the kitchen, thank you for posting👍👍
Wow, very impressive, and my fragile ego can't stomach the fact that these guys played for just a few months. Come on, man. Much Mahalo for posting.
Tennis probably has a lot of translatable skills, so they've got a head start on most people.
All four of them are outstanding and already 4.5+, I think.
I was more a ping-pong player than a tennis player, somehow I was inspired by watching just 2 of your videos.
Heyy, Ive played with that girl before! Awesome they have a channel! Subscribed ✅
Never seen a breakout tournament like that! Great job!
Great stuff. Girl in pink looks really solid
Loved watching. Wow....Beautiful strokes....
There were some really good rallies!
Those Diadem Warrior paddles are sweet! I often hear it's a "control" oriented paddle but one can get plenty of *pop* when needed.
The majority of the players at the country club play with Diadem.
5.0+ tennis players step on the court as 4.5+ pickleball players from what I have seen too. Just a few things like stroke length and moving to the line/following drops need adjustment and they are 5.0 very shortly.
Awesome games!
Ok now let’s see pro pickleball players play pro tennis
That is difficult/impossible, unless they were tennis players first. Pickleball doesn't translate well to tennis
Awesome!
That's me! Great games!
@@DaveLL500 they are 4.5s count the unforced errors, they made very few and showed control of a wide variety of shots.
I started playing PB about 6 months ago after playing tennis for the last 30 years. You play a lot like I played. Was a lot of fun to watch, the skills translate nicely to Pickleball.
You're an awesome player, all 4 were excellent!! 5.0 players - easy to see👍👍
lol now looking back 2 months at my defending you being a 4.5+ feels kind of silly after you winning double gold last week in pro doesn't it?
You won APP Gold in just two months. I retracted my original post (I predicted 5.0 by end of the year) and beg for your forgiveness. Best of luck in future tournaments!
Amazing! I'm inspired!
There's no doubt that Tennis experience can be a HUGE boon to learning Pickleball, as long as they make the strategic adjustment to the different game, and don't try to play it from the baseline. I never played Tennis, and as a result, my baseline shots are nit nearly as good as they could be, but I still do ok. Whic one of these players is YOU?
Bravo!
Solid plays! Keep it up
Some great points!
ask them if they had MORE fun playing PB than tennis??
Great games
Genius!!!!! Few months already know how to do Erne and ATP!!!! Very Impressive!!!!!
That's a part of tennis. It just rarely happens
@@maurylong36 don’t need to do Erne in tennis.
Why so many pickleball players use two hands? As a tennis player, I have a two hand backhand. I have not played pickleball but have held one several times. It felt so good to be able to use a one handed backhand, as I always wished to play one handed. It feels weird to hold the paddle with two hands. So if I play pickleball, I am definitely going to play with a one handed backhand.
I started using 2 hands last week and it was very useful in a few situations. I was amazed with all the spin & control at the NVZ.
I have a two hand backhand in tennis. Recently started playing pickleball and I use a one hand backhand and it feels amazing, wishing I can do that with tennis. Two hander with pickleball just feels very limited, but there are some occasion having to do compact shots that two hander is useful.
These guys have been playing more than a few months wayyyy more, i know them..
Anna Bright just destroyed in the APP Punta Gorda tournament
hell ya I did
Back before James took a line a coke before every match
That's me already after only 4 months as well. I ain't dinking back n forth. I hit that net n get that fall. Tennis first then ping pong and then smash!! Too easy to control
A few months experience? You sure? These players are easily playing at a 5.0 level.
I wouldn’t say 5.0 lol they’re good though. I’m thinking 4.0
They also cut out all of their missed shots
@@WhitsSports Ah, nope, I suggest filming some 4.0 tournament and comparing to this.
Ridiculous title. People do not get this good after a few months. Yes, I should know.
Tennis translate very well to pickleball. If they were high level tennis players, playing for few months is very likely..
