I've been playing this game for a few months now and never changed my rod or reel. I noticed you have different combos for different lures. Preference or have you seen a difference?
Yeah, so the main difference in rods is the distance you can cast. The main difference in reels is the speed at which you can bring in fish, which will help you in the timed tournaments. But I haven't noticed a specific difference using different lures on different rod and reels, though I think it might make a difference with line. For example, in the description some baits say they prefer lighter line, though I have no evidence to back it up, usually I stick with lines to target different sizes of fish.

Just went here got 215 inches of bas. Only one over 10 but idec lol. all were on pad crasher and 2 on the paddletail swimbait
