Pro wrestling is part of the fabric of our Country.

What baffles me is WWE created the WWE Network for streaming and PLE but then few years later that got absorbed by NBC and added all that content plus U.S viewings of PLEs. And Peacock as a whole is meh in my opinion. Id rather WWE take back the WWE Network and use that as they orginally intended to do
It's a business thing because different people have different subscriptions so many will be subbed to Peacock only or subbed to the other only. But also they may not be able to get those outside the US and WWE Network probably wasn't available on certain countries were as Netflix is practically everywhere is slowly moving into everywhere And like he said in January WWE is instantly getting those countries straight away
WWE viewership will drop exponentially. The offerings on Netflix are unremarkable at best and I ain't paying $20/ month to watch Raw.... especially when I can watch it online for free 3hrs later.
I can't wait until WWE is on Netflix 1) so it can be uncensored 2) I can actually watch Raw and Smackdown live since I can only watch PLE on Peacock..but all said and done Thank you Triple H for getting me back into WWE

because they do licensing based in regions or countries. looks like Foxtel/binge has it for Australia and that deal is pretty fresh still so you wont see it on netflix in Australia for a while

@jameswhiteside6716 yeah agreed but from that aspect imo i still think they are ahead of the UFC(not that Bellator and other promotions get much traction) I think UFC do a better job of building events in diff countries etc which WWE would rarely do unless they are on tour but that was mainly house shows but in other aspects they are behind and in the past you would see them try and be more like WWE to garner attention.
I personally think the way the product is moving rn we are slowly heading into a similar direction to ruthless aggression era which I grew up with and for me and had the best of every aspect and not completely wild like the attitude era
Netflix got me back into wrestling. I had a code to get us netflix content ( im in canada) and they had all the documentaries and a bunch of ppv and i got back into it, im an 80's kid, and i knew some names but i wasnt into it for a long time. Looking forward to January.

@@otaviofrnazario I assume that they're testing the waters a bit with all the international shows this year. Seeing what sort viewership numbers they get state-side for afternoon shows. But keep in mind the time-zone thing works both ways. If WM takes place in Europe, everyone over there can start watching in the evening. Right now, WM starts around midnight and goes until 4am (depending on the timezone). That could greatly expand the European audience, while those in North America can still watch the show in the afternoon (or evening, if they don't care about catching it live).

I live in Scotland and can guarantee you if WWE was here every week like it was in the US, the crowds would be dead and you wouldn’t be able to fill out arenas. I don’t get how people slander the US crowds in the slightest, we don’t get these events very often whether it be music concerts, shows etc so for people attending it’s very much like a once in a lifetime bucketlist type opportunity so they end up being genuine true fans with that excited energy. it might be available to 80%/the rest of the world, but you're also going to alienate yourself from people like me who do not have Netflix. i am aware that there are probably far less people that dont have it than do, so it wont matter, but ive grown up watching wrestling once its on a streaming platform that i do not have/want then i will no longer be able to watch it, which means im either going to, from that point on, be forced to watch who i assume is a competitor unless WWE just buys out more promotions in which case i guess ill just have to give up watching all together. i miss the OG attitude era and i believe this will be V2 of it, but it sucks that i will no longer be able to watch after my nearly 40 years of watching wrestling.
I really hope once they switch, WWE continues to do what they’ve been doing but just adding in some more swearing and blood. I don’t wanna go back to the crazy ass segments and storylines we got in the attitude era. I like the long term building they’ve been doing recently and “breaking the 4th wall” a lot more often. HHH has been doing some seriously amazing work as of late and I’d hate to see that go away to try and bring back the old memories only because they’re finally allowed to do that kind of stuff again
They're experimenting with Raw. If all goes well then no doubt another multi-billion dollar bill to include Smackdown and soon other shows as long as Netflix rakes in a good share. I see this as a brilliant business move, props to them.

They're experimenting with Raw. If all goes well then no doubt another multi-billion dollar bill to include Smackdown and soon other shows as long as Netflix rakes in a good share. I see this as a brilliant business move, props to them.
