In a great interview Angus talks about how he and Malcolm always combined to make one amazing guitar. He had a deeper understanding than anybody about Malcolm's creativity, drive & power as the force behind AC/DC. After his death there was never any question of ending the band. Eventually brother Stevie was tapped to play rhythm guitar demonstrating again the depth of music & passion in the Young family. Truly lucky to have been alive at the same time as AC/DC. This actually gives my goose bumps. I feel what is more suprising than the beat is the clean picking. If I would play the same thing there would be snarl and at least touching some other strings here and there but Malcom is 100% clear ... amazing. The music remains.

You can hear the absolute precision In Malcolm’s right hand, and his fretting hand.
And what a sweet sounding classic rock tone, he got out of his iconic Gretsch Guitar and Marshall Amps.

I’ve always said Angus was the best blues player (not only in Aus) but held his own with the Blues greats!
I’ve also wished (so much) that he’d do a sneaky album side project without anyone knowing!

Amazing to get so much clarity inside all that grind. You can hear how much Alex Lifeson influenced not only his rhythmic approach but his tone as well, this one practically screams "Fly By Night". RIP Malcolm.

I’ve always said the first person I’d want in my dream band is Malcom on rhythm guitar with that metronome he had for a right hand. So tight and in the pocket, it’s ridiculous.
