what i like About billy. is this young man can( play and sing.) He comes from hard times. and hard places. and he knows how to Respect his Elders. WHAT A GREAT YOUNG MAN. 😎👍🇺🇸 SOUTHEAST TN.
happy late birthday Willie Man it for sure had to be a hell of ball on tour with Billy I'd Shure love to have the two of y'all jam out in one of my tunes
I wish there was a centralized place people uploaded recordings from concerts. I mean I know TH-cam is usually the spot but it’s not organized in any fashion. I will record a clip or two during a show for my own viewing later but if I knew others were doing the same and I could watch theirs later I wouldn’t bother
@@CheeseLover23 it's a gamble for sure. a lot of times i find that the in house recording for some shows honestly sucks. There's this vibe that puts you right back in your seat at a show when you hear a recording from someone in the crowd. Billy strings on nugs is a good example. The resonance of the instruments and the presence of the bass is so diminished on nugs. But also just being in the moment is important at a show
@@Pearhead4207 Yea, but lighters generally only came out towards the end of a concert... Not the whole damn time! We were too busy just enjoying the show.
Oh yeah? I'd love to see what you'll be doing at 90 years old. Shit, this guy has earned the right to lay in bed and take it easy yet he's still out there doing his thing to the best of his ability. It brings a tear to my eye, but not the type of tear you're on about.
Billie is always so genuine and relaxed. He is the brightest star in the music world right now and he is crazy about Willie! Thanks for the video.
Completely agree with you.
Fore sure man. That was well put.
@@LicksoftheLegend, not a man, but I'll take it anyway. Yours in Bluegrass, M. C.
@@m.c.master4622 my apologies.
@@LicksoftheLegend, oh, my goodness. You don't have to apologize!! Take care.
Brilliant fantastic guitarist
Willies old enough to know how rare guys like Roy Clark and Billy Strings are.
The new legend with the old legend! Billy strings is absolutely amazing!
Who doesn't love those two?
Billy is a phenom and Willie is a pure legend, still seems sharp as a tack. Happy Birthday Willie!!
A legend and the greatest flat picker there ever was, together on stage.... just awesome!!!!
Billy is just SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!
Wish i could have been there. Happy BDay Willie. I'm 100% sure Billy will be a legend as you are.
From one Billy to the other...love you guys and with a name like Billy you cant be all that bad~~~

This is such a happy tune. the video is more bluegrass.. Singing and playing keeps Willie young.
Billy Joe Shaver would have loved this night!

You can’t do that at a TOOL show, security will dismiss you.
#400 , Just now.
willie barely made it through this song kindaaaa sad
Yeah he had to read the lyrics. 😢
He's fucking ninety chill
Back off, he's 90 years old and this is a new song that he's performed only a few times, had to double check the lyrics.

Billy teaching Willy how to do trigger. I can't believe the man is still alive.
