I made the switch about 2 years ago. While there is a learning curve it was worth it.
I also applaud the hubitat team for the all the updates and for making the platform easier to use for new users.

@@CarlosJuarez-fo1kq you need to connect your current devices to the new hub. If you are using zigbee devices it's usually as simple as clicking s reset button on the device and adding to hubitat. If it's zwage you have to go through an inclusion/exclusion process. It usually takes looking up the device manual on how to do that.

I had two smartthings instances - two houses. Big Webcore user ... I just bought a new house this fall and I felt the time was right to move away from ST. I am still keeping one ST hub alive I have a few things on it and am using Actiontiles to surface both HE and ST devices. All my automations are in HE and I am using Webcore.

    I _love_ *Groovy!* 😊
That's my main reason to use Hubitat.
    P.S.: Happy Holidays! 🎄🎅🚀

I am the admin of 4 homes and working on number 5. I made the switch to Hubitat from ST on 2 of the homes about 5 months ago. And now with Hubitat intergrading with homekit I will be moving the others over soon. Of the 2 homes I've done so far everything has migrated over successfully except 1 device, a Schage FS599NX lock. I am unable to add this lock. My only other complaint is the dashboard. I don't understand why such a nice system has such a clunky dashboard? But now I'm able to use homekit, I just wish Locks and garage doors were able to be used with homekit. I understand this is an Apple thing, but it's still aggravating.

I don’t know why I waited so long to make the switch.

Yeah nice video. But instead of try to steal smartthings work on actual users and improve HE dashboard...it still look like 1994 software.
