Single camera angle. No cut-aways to the judges or the audience. Probably a first. 100% respect for the work.
I mentioned the same thing in another video of them. I don’t think that’s happened before. I could be wrong.

@@TheRealMarkees No they don't. It's still lots of cameras and lots of angles. Just for this act the constant frontal p.o.v.
But, certainly for the live shows they don't cut away from the stage to the judges or the audience, so we see every moment.

This is insane. I've never seen a dance group so coordinated that it just doesn't feel like they are a single organism. You see a single entity rather than a group.
They are up there with that lightbright group a few years ago

For those who don't speak Arabic the snake is actually citing a verse from a very beautiful poem. It says:
روحُهُ روحي وَروحي روحُهُ
مَن رَأى روحَينِ حَلَّت بَدَنا
Which means : "His spirit is my spirit, and my spirit is his.
Has the world ever witnessed two spirits in one body before?"
I think it's used specifically to describe how synchronized their bodies are and how they move as one.
This is a translation of the whole poem for anyone curious enough even though it fails to capture the enchanting beauty in the Arabic poetry :

I was a dancer, many years. Ballet, jazz and free style. I KNOW what practice, sweat and tears this takes to pull together. Plus the TIME! All dancers beautiful and flawless plus choreographer is a damn genius to SEE this in his head before he SHOWS it to the girls, then to the world. This act should WIN! HANDS DOWN!
Huge respect😩 they are actually architects and university students and still find the time to be this amazing!! I have just posted a video of the Mayyas dancing Hip Hop😩😍 it’s amazing how they are skilled in many dance types.

This has to be one of the greatest dance acts ever performed, period. Not even on AGT. This is just breath taking and it's their best performance. Even better than their finale. It's just perfection. The music, the story, the mystique the dancing, the surprise introduction of the mystery character, it's just pure genius. Pure genius.

The snake... I cannot get over how BRILLIANT that was. Absolutely freaking brilliant choreography, & almost puppetry, really, in parts! Dance & costuming genius with these ladies moving with timing like a Swiss watch. It's absolutely enchanting!

@Hung Over - the pole dancer didn't do everything on her own, though. She said she works with an animator to create that whole thing. She only comes up with the storyline and she uses others to implement her idea. That's literally the same case here, by the way. The choreographer said in the post interview that he comes up with it all on his own.

I watched this so unique piece of art for more than 20 times and never felt boring for a second. Never seen an audition without a flaw but this one is exceptional. Unbelievable best ever performance, creativity, harmony, music and lights among all GT versions. It’s the best Mayyas performance ever. I truly love you girls ❤️❤️

This show is beyond Vegas. They should be on tour around the world. It was other worldly. I have never seen a Vegas or Broadway show that can compare. There is something wrong with America if they don't win.

From the cool and creepy reptile gold glove hands to the head flip at .57 seconds that exposes their faces for a glance. And the creative transitions like the 1:56 snake speaking while the girls take formation. Every detail wow breathtaking. My 3 year old and I watched this so many times and every time I noticed another beautiful detail I didn’t notice before. The Mayyas and their choreographer thought of everything we see in their fantasy story, from close and far away. My son and I attention has been captured by the Mayyas every move and imagination. Just WOW 🤩.

It is beautiful art, they are totally captivating and you can tell they put their entire heart and soul into their craft. I would LOVE to see them live!
This is absolutely astonishingly beautiful. I don’t think anyone understands the amount of hard work this takes because we only see 5% of the work. Everything was just flawless.

This is a PERFECT example of why Got Talent exists. The magic of how these girls made the movements starting with the tree of life and also showcasing the theme of nature in beauty and brawn, I was mesmerized.

I've watched every season of AGT and other talent competitions like many of you over the years. We've all seen hundreds, if not thousands of performances, and this I can honestly say has got to clearly be the best of the best of all of them! Hands down! The choreographer is a genius and the dancers are all unbelievably superb.

What impresses me are the effects they achieved simply with well-choreographed body movement and costuming: no computer effects, no flashy lighting, no LEDs, just carefully timed movement, thoughtful costumes design and basic props. It was dazzling.

The transition between the different dances is so clever. There is always something that distracts you while the girls are repositioning for a new move. Like removing the veil and the snake puppet. You feel like you're watching a montaged show not a live one. This choreography is so clever
I've watched it probably 50 times already, there's not a single wasted move or motion, or step that doesn't work or fit the flow of the story. It's a perfect 10.
