I was kicked out at 17, after telling my school counselor about my mom and molester stepfather. My dad and his wife beat me for the 11 months I lived with them. They thought it was funny when my dad used an axe handle on me. He hit me so hard that it broke. The people who witnessed it laughed. The PTSD kicked in in my late 20s early 30s. Married a wonderful man w/ awesome inlaws. Hang tight survivors.
Courtney's evil mother was right about reaping what you sow, but she didn't realize that she and her husband, Courtney's evil father were about to reap the consequences of their deeds.
How dare Courtney's former mother text her OWN daughter and tell her to COME back home, accuse her of ruining the family, and threaten to call the police. Then have the nerve to send a family group chat that Courtney left the family and is dead to them. It was the other way around, Courtney's former parents are dead to her. Then 5 years later, want to see Courtney to get the insurance money after the house is caught on fire. Violate the restraining order to see her at age 22, and threaten her again when she showed the years of abuse, and gets BUSTED WHAT IT IS RIGHT NOW with the insurance representative. Courtney decided to use the money for those who are getting out of TOXIC family situations and named after Sarah and James. The former parents called Courtney's bluff and she told them to try her and told them to leave. In the end, they ended up in a homeless shelter.
WHY?!!!! Parents are supposed to love their children!!! I know some abusers were themselves abused as children. Mind you, that is no excuse for that kind of behavior. But in many cases, that is true. In this case, I believe these parents were the epitome of evil👿
Why weren't the parents ever arrested for child abuse) neglect? Both the hospital and the school are legally mandated to call the authorities in any suspected cases of child abuse/neglect I believe the schools are also mandated to call CPS and/or the authorities in the case of excessive absences
I meant legality. The insurance company did not give Courtney the money because they felt sorry for her. I was curious about why Courtney received the money instead of her parents. They paid the insurance premiums. Did they put Courtney as beneficiary instead of themselves?
think its save to say to take this specific story with a grain of salt.....but other than the thing with insurance money, does sound like typical narcistic parents so obsessed with their "image" they torture their kid to "motive" her to get straight A's to make them look good.
@@wonderwoman5732 yea, she's abused, but abusers don't do anything that would give their victim an edge over them, unless they have a great deal of confidence in the level of control they have over the victim. Having the insurance money go directly to the victim who ran away 5 years prior that they don't have any control over, has no logic to it.

I keep thinking that the parents set fire to their house to collect the house insurance money.
They definitely did

How did Courtney get the house insurance money instead of her parents? Is the house in her name? She was a minor at that time.
