I’m Thai and I don’t go outside during Songkran anymore. But I used to be very excited when I was a kid. Traditionally it’s not about partying and getting drunk like these days.

My daughter loves getting her hair braided in Phuket, she has been getting braided in the same place since she was 3 yrs old, all she needs is a tablet to watch cartoons while getting braided LOL Luna is so cute.

no thailand is nothing like bali. they so different. the food the people the scenery. thailand is more beautiful in some ways and less in others and the tourism here is older and dichotomous. lots of high end and sleaze too. indonesia has way less sleaze over all, but the dont have thai food. so it evens out in the wash hahah

thanks for commenting and sharing with your daughter. sorry about the comments. youtube disabled comments on creators that feature children after a few creators who allowed pedophiles to write inappropriate things on their videos for a while without reporting them or removing them were found and youtube lost advertisers. rather than deal with the issue, they disabled comments for all family channels. i am still really mad about it and hope that it gets sorted soon and i get them back. i have never had any comment that was sexual towards luna and if i did i would report that user immediately. i think if you are going to have a channel with a kid in it, you need to be responsible for monitoring all the activity. i hope that in future they just hold family channels to that instead of punishing us all for the actions of a few. comments are usually active on new videos then go inactive after a week or so
My daughter went to Iceland, Germany, Russia, and Poland last year. After seeing your vid‘s she wants to try your area of the world now. It does look Beautiful.

we found it was drunk people. i gave a kid the finger. im not proud of it, but he was a little jerk really just trying to drown luna. we were attacked by drunk people foreign and local. i really didn't see any one factor except drunkeness in common

I appreciate your views on the irresponsible water soaking and find it hard to believe that anyone would super soak a sleeping baby. I find it very difficult to relate it all with the teachings of Buddha.
this is not to slam Buddhists, but since when are any religious teachings not perverted? Drunk people are idiots, and there's a lot of them on Songkran - some are buddhists, some are not. We saw it all - our hosts were up early and off to temple and did not participate in any super soaking, and then there were people in the street, so drunk, it didn't even look fun anymore - all of humanity was there.
Tbh, your little girl is too little for Songkran. Better take more researches before you take your precious to the event you barey know about. Songkran is kinda dangerous for me (28/Thai girl) Drunk people, bad people, uneducated people everywhere. People who you don't usually associate with in daily life but they are allowed to touch your cheeks, your body... I don't suggest to any girls to go alone without a man or a group of trusted friends.
I didn't take her to any event. our video was just our experience going to the beach and a pool and a temple. we never went to one Songkran event purposely
