    Science nerd time!
    I really like how Dylan phrased "not every instinct and not every thought needs to be acted upon". It's true that there are a lot of human behaviours that are rooted in basic biology but, generally speaking, these behaviours were selected for evolutionarily during the times of our early ancestors. That means that as societies formed and became more sophistocated, these behaviours were still present genetically but didn't manifest as prominently. They were not as "necessary" and some were phased out socially. For example, behaviours such as preferences for facial symmetry or preferences for partners who are providers, still exist today but are not necessarily the be all, end all in our decision for a partner.
    So, circling back to Dylan's statement, he's right in saying that not all instincts need to be acted upon since most are artifacts of human biology and evolution that would have previously promoted survival and reproduction in our ancestors. :)

    I really hate it when these “alpha males” say that females don’t want you to open up to them or be emotional like wtf noooooo!! That’s the absolute worst advise you could give!! We want you to open up to us, we want to know that you feel comfortable with us and trust us enough to be your 100% raw authentic self. If the guy I’m dating doesn’t show his emotional side and doesn’t come to me for support when they need it then it actually really hurts me and damages the relationship, it feels like you don’t trust us and have someone your closer with to go to. Honestly from my personal opinion and from the girls i know, the biggest turn off is all the shit these misogynistic “alpha males” say is the best male and “what we want”. Just be a fucking human being! No gender is better then the other and no person should be made to not have emotions because some assholes view it as “weak”, its actually so much stronger to get the support you need despite society’s sexist standards. Every person is different so obviously people will find different things attractive but that’s exactly why those kind of videos are stupid because there is no “perfect” person that everyone will find attractive, just be yourself and you will find someone that genuinely loves you not this pussy act you put on because you got rejected too many times. It makes me so mad that young guys will watch “alpha males” and believe everything they say and become another misogynistic asshole who is never going to be happy because they suppress normal human emotions and needs. If any guy has read this please don’t take advise from those types of people, just be yourself, be a nice person, treat women like actual people and you’ll meet the right person one day. No matter the gender we are all just humans at the end of the day, there is no reason one gender should be treated any different from the other, we all deserve respect, we all have emotions, we all have different likes and dislikes, just because I’m a female it doesn’t mean I’m the same as every other female and same goes for men, we are all more then our gender so lets stop grouping people into what they should be allowed to do and not do or what they think or don’t think just because of their gender.

I know other girls feel differently, and some men think it is weak to cry, but for me it is the best thing to do in a relationship. It helps build a stronger bond and get to know your partner better. I respect men more when they show their emotions, is not afraid to cry in front of me, or let me know how they’re feeling, etc. I honestly feel bad for the men who think like this because as Dylan put it best, there’s no way they are happy repressing all their emotions. I’m not sure who runs this channel but they need therapy 😂

    • @williambarber5574
      @williambarber5574 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think he is actually talking about a relationship in the beginning stages when a connection is still trying to be made. If men did share their feelings with women they would most likely over share seeming dependent/not ready for a relationship. Men don't convey emotions like women tend to with words, we convert our emotions into motivation. Also being stoic and a leader also means being able to keep your emotions in check. If you're married and you share a house, he should share his feelings because they are committed in marriage and their actions affect both of them. You date someone.

      That’s exactly what they want you to believe and feel. They don’t really want men to succeed in dating and relationships, because they themselves (the red pill coaches) are unhappy, angry, and resentful towards women for their failed past relationships (or attempts at such). Their advice, I feel, is purely tailored to ensure the men stay in the community and continue to share their (unrealistic) angry views towards women. Instead of, you know, actually taking a hard look at themselves and seeing what it is they may be doing wrong in terms of their social skills, routine, grooming, etc., because if they did, and not just for the sake of getting a girlfriend, it might be hard at first to improve themselves, but it would be worth it in the long run, and show them that these Red Pill coaches are nothing more than misogynistic frauds who don’t actually know anything about real self-improvement or women, or dating in general. Speaking of which, side note; how come dating coaches only cater to straight people mostly? Like, not that I see a point in a dating coach, but if you’re gonna use one, what if you’re gay, bi, non-binary, lesbian, etc.?

    This video literally made me snort with laughter multiple times. It had so many specific and strange scenarios to pin onto women and Dylan’s reactions were golden
    It is also brilliant to watch someone come across as intelligent and emotionally mature on such topics

    I love how the guy says try to avoid the misogyny trap and then proceeds to later be incredibly misogynist

    4:23 Giving good hugs is a genuine skill and I’ve never met a guy who has it. I’ve never had an acceptably good platonic hug from a guy before

    Loved the graphics and style for this video Dylan! “The Red Pill Society is a safe space for hurt men”, “are you trying to be a lion/wolf/cheetah?” and the skit made me lol so hard. Thanks for being level headed. It’s kinda sad that most women are usually happy-surprised when they come across a bloke who treats them with just the basic level of respect in this way - just talk to us normally because despite our difference sex chromosomes we’re all human.

    thanks dylan, it's been a long time since i've actually laughed out loud this hard!!
    edit: i also love how you're trying to understand why people think the way they do instead of just saying they're idiots who can't be helped - it's always really cool to hear your opinions because you rationalize them so well!
