When I have this on in the background, I sometimes forget that it is saxophones and not an orchestra! Such a good sound!

I mean they’re under one of the top sax teachers in the world.

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful version of pictures at an exhibition i have heard. As far as promenade, baba yaga, and great gate of kiev are concerned, it is almost as powerful as the animusic version, cathedral pictures. I will have to give my favorite arrangment/performance of great gate of kiev to Joshua Heaney though. While all are excellent ensembles, ESP has my vote over Euregio sax. orchestra, and Mi Bemol. Love it.

This group is literally one of my favorite bands. Ya'll should really put together a studio recording for all your amazing work.

This group could benefit tremendously from a conductor. A lot can be done by the saxophonist on the right, but the entire performance could be much more nuanced and free with a conductor.

I disagree. They entire group should be pulsing like a giant conducting mass. (Not all the time of course). It gives the ensemble the freedom of letting many people conduct without having one at the front.
