@@redlandproductions1 i’ve seen you perform live with lots of bands, just a talk on communicating amongst performers in a live setting would be cool. ALSO, a separate discussion about your process in choosing which instruments to use for different types of songs and how to tune your ear to know what flows with certain styles of music! thanks bro!
I've been making beats for some time now and I've been wanting to get into live music and this video was a great introduction for me into that arena!! hope to see more videos like this
This is video is insane!!! I would like for you to make some drum only, marching down the road carnival beats. A 30min loop. It would probably go viral. You instantly earned my sub!!

trini. "pattern ting"😆 Kind of vague, no? Great tutorial. Can you elaborate on your choice of sounds. Which ones are you choosing and were are you getting them from (inside of Logic Pro, or third party pluggins). There's a lite mention here and there, can we get more. For example the Pad synth in the beginning is it a Logic Pro sound? Is it Retro Synth Dance Basic Lead? More specifics please. Other than that you're amazing .
It’s literally called a Pattern Sequencer but yuh know us trinis have to change it up 😭😂 thank you for the comment, so ALOT of my sounds are from omnisphere, and stock logic but the synth pad specifically was sampled from a Nord Keyboard some years ago
I like that you stick closely to Logic Pros stock plugins. Like I said earlier I was able to find similar pads in Logics Retro Synth. On a side note. You ever wonder when music distributors, and DAWs are going to stop calling soca reggae?@@redlandproductions1
Just came across your channel. Great stuff . Question. Exactly which keyboard brand and model are you using? Are all your synth and brass straight from Logic. Beginner producer here. Thanks
may i know , where i wll get chutney soca loops for load in korg arrenger keyboard , i want play bollywood indian songs on this beats , please help , tHanks
I'm glad I found your channel been wanting to know how to make a soca track ,even though you use logic the concept is the same with all daws I use reaper . Edit my first question is what is the standard tempo ? Is is there a certain progression with chords to use ?
Groovy Soca is usually anywhere between 100-130bpm and anything above that is considered power Soca. Chord progressions are usually preference as most Soca progressions are a 4-8 bar loop
When you say a band is going to be playing this arrangement. Your job here is to come up with the arrangement for the band and they learn it based on the stems? I'm not sure the job here
Exactly, the individual stems will also be sent to the bands playback tech in the event they would like to use any of the programmed lines along with their band as well. So for example if they want to play a synth line live they have the option to do so or to leave the stem of that line to play while the band is playing.
this is so helpful and informative thank you for making this! please continue to make similar videos if you can.
Please Let me know what topics you'd like me to cover! the support is appreciated!

The synth pad was sampled from a nord keyboard using logics autosampler feature and I added effects to taste
Please! What guitar sample is that that you used for the guitar
I edited it for my liking but the default patch is called “festival lead” in Logic
The question is how do we get the stems for these tracks
