At 7:53, regarding the little wedge practice swings scraping the green before chipping, it could be argued by an opponent that he’s testing the grain, which runs afoul of rule 13.1.e (No deliberate testing of greens). I’ve never seen it done before… maybe best to not do that in competition?

Great maturity for his age (13 y…? ) and most probably a future NCAA and PGA Tour player. Please keep us update with everything possible…. Golf is a serious matter even at our retirement age. A. 3:10 - What about the "hinge and hold" technique? Is that not taught any more?
And del-oft the wedge with no green to work with? Adam said it was into the grain and not optimal for bump and run.
Hinge and hold is fine if you have time to hit a million balls and perfect your timing.
