What exhaust pipe did you use?
Its the pro jet pipe
Mine comeing on nice. Just need the front mud gard on but quite fancy that jet pipe. And sounds nice i would put it in a mini crosser as the carb will be hitting the rear swing arm on the mini quad.

good job on getting it running you inadvertently built yourself a long stroke the 47cc cagllari engine is supposed to have the crank with a 44 mm connecting rod you have the crank out of a 49cc piston port engine that's why the Piston hits I bet it has mad torque throw it into a roller and try it out :)

Best upgrade for that engine would be a balanced crank because it seems to be vibrating a bit more than normal.
The full circle crank is for filling up the room in the engine, there will be more pressure to press the gas and air mixture im the cylinder
@@Potato37184 Yes, a crank that fills more volume will create more pressure, but a crank that is not balanced properly will rob any of the gains you would get from that increase in air volume. Its better to measure your balance factor and drill out the crank than rob power through imbalance and also rob your engine of top end rpm where your power probably is. You can also slug your crank instead so you don't have to have holes. Ie you add weight or you use a lighter weight material than the crank. NTM engine imbalance in general can destroy your engine very quickly.

Dang bud you must have heard every line there is that cold ryme with your last name.
Excellent video, however i would recommend a better carburetor to really help it come alive. A walbro hda-43 from DDM racing. You may need to tap a pulse line as its external. But they aerate the fuel much better, and faster as it has multiple jets. Has a high and low. I think ill be building one of these to put on a goped or bladez scooter soon. I know there are better cyl kits available nowadays.

only problem i can see is going to be the top motor mount, the exhaust will be in the way but u will figure somethng out do not run any bike without it frame will twist and flex
sounds like it has a compression problem, not gonna be good when ur riding the bike, it wont have power
You need to remove the gaskets you made and order another 1 or 2 copper head gaskets putting more gaskets under the base of the gingerbread with port timeing

Dylon Desbiens not too much smoke, usually a little more during the initial break in because you need to run a little more oil with it. But it also depends on humidity, temp, etc.. but yeah the only real way to tell is to test the spark plug

You don’t have to do the top speed runs and stuff you can simulate it with a small load on the engine for similar times. There are also charts that you can find on google images for 2 stroke spark plug tuning colors.
Some easy ones to spot are if it’s super wet and black to much oil or dry and white not enough oil and too lean. You want it to be a nice tanish with not too much oil on the plug to where the entire thing is horribly soaked.

Break it in with a heavier weight oil mix and it will be fine
sounds good man keep up the good work and if you wan you can go with 32:1 mix it will perform better once the engine is done it's brake in just make sure to keep the high octane gas

Why didn't your upgrade the coil and magneto that comes with a CDI box? They do make them for this engine. The box is a lot smaller than the typical ones but just saying.

What purpose does it serve being mounted to a pallet on the back of a quad...
It serves an engine run stand to be-able to easily tune the engine and try different 'performance' mods so you don't have to deal with tight spaces when its on a bike.

53cc and 4-6 hp
Reed induced bbc is 49cc and hp depends on the porting he did to the head. A bbk on a piston port will get you to 53cc.
Man that exhaust is leaking like shit at the silencer! U should take a look into that, It runs poorer if the exhaust leaks

Okay, my brother has a blata 2.5 pocket bike, it's an air-cooled European engine, similar to these Chinese remakes. And his bike straight smoked my friends 66/80cc Moto bike kit. It was no competition, in acceleration or top speed. These engines haul ass when properly tuned in

Hey man love your videos. I’m trying to upgrade a scooter when I had when I was kit. It’s a Chinese scooter with I believe a 43cc 2 stroke engine. Do you know what larger motor would bolt up to this style scooter? Should I just go with a 49cc and do a big bore kit?

Mason Fritzke I’ve heard taking the stock muffler packing out and stuffing it with steal wool tight helps and doesn’t decrease power , I’ve never tried it tho
You can buy different mufflers and weld them to fit
Of course be careful tho, if you get it very very quiet your most likely hurting the me engine... these are sort of built to be obnoxiously loud
Dylon Desbiens you will also loose a large amount of performance unless you put like all oversized stuff and do some over the top stuff.

Hello Dylon and people. I really need your help.
I installed 4 days ago a big bore kit and a full circle crank. I installed it perfectly, no noticeable problem but, when I tried to start it it didn't start. I tried to start it for 2h and it finally started. After 3 avarage speed pulls my throttle cable got out my carburetor. I went home and fixed it. After that I tried to start the bike and I couldn't. Since that I opened up everything to see if I did something wrong but no I didn't, everything seems pretty good mounted, my sparkplug works so as my ignition Coil. My question is. How can I start the engine, what problem could it have?? I will appreciate your help. Thanks a lot (:

Absolute legend, want to buy at least another so I have one for my PBU big bore and can take another to work, split and make multiples and different manifolds for different engines! Might see if I can utilise the expansion chamber with modified muffler and manifold for a moped!?! But thanks though! 👍

Tf... that ground being connected to the quad makes 0 sense. And your Carb mount, it’s probably not air tight
Whats wrong with grounding to the atv? and yes it's air tight. Works perfect
Because it needs to be grounded to the little engine with it being grounded to the quad it does nothing and isn’t practical
Well thats new to me... In a car you would ground it to the frame not itself I've never heard of grounding an engine to it self.
Dylon Desbiens you can do it to frame that you actually mount it on. But it looks like you have that engine mounted to wood and not anything conductive connecting the engine or magneto to the quad to connect the engines ground to the quads frame.
Dylon Desbiens or that wire could be the kill switch wire so when you properly ground it (try the engine) it kills the spark...don’t quote me on this, it’s something I just read on a forum.

Yeah it would not be very good. Some chainsaws are actually larger in cc’s and hp . Ex: stihl ms660. The top end for that is also used as a big bore for motorized bikes and puts out.

Good thing is you can just look at my Pokémon Pocket Bike and see a real chainsaw engine on a bike, the thing does 50mph but it’s 90cc
