    Hello Tanmay ! I am facing this issue with my new Wzatco Alpha 2 android projector ! Can you please me with the solution to model specific ?

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Surya,
      You can try below steps, however they are just universal options and not specific to your product -
      1. Reset the projector to factory default settings
      2. Change HDMI Cable
      3. Check for OS upgrades (if available)
      And if the product is new and under warranty, get it repaired or replaced from company

    HDMI CEC makes the use of a single remote for all devices, which is convenient to use in the long run. As you said, it carries power so may be responsible for damage of the equipment. But the general recommendation is to keep the same on. Can you provide more information on the same?

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Doc, that’s right. Its a good practice for controlling the equipments connected using HDMI cables, but in India, we have noticed that voltage fluctuations has not only damaged the HDMI cables but also the equipments’ HDMI ports too.

    I solved mine by changing the refresh rate of my laptop from 60hz to 56hz. Although doing this sometimes makes the 4K HDR video play a bit choppy and out of sync, I must set the resolution down to 1080p. But It's ok if the annoying flickering issue is solved this way!
    EDIT: Changing the EDID Version to 1.4 on my projector works just fine! No customization is needed on the laptop since the laptop auto-detected the screen capability that EDID.

    bought brand new Viewsonic X10-4K LEDprojector. While watching any video, in 5-6 minutes the display goes off. sometimes the audio remains but video goes off. Moreover, in its OS, while switching from remote button up or down, there is flickering issue in content reading. Even it blinks too. please help.

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Shahzad, lock a complaint with the company's service center. It can either be -
      1. Projector issue
      2. HDMI Cable issue
      3. HDMI output of the AVR

    My Sony VPL-HW40ES projector, connected to a Denon AVRX4100W, starts blinking a few minutes after changing the source (ROKU or Apple TV) output from 720 to 1080P, eventually going totally black. I've never figured it out and suffered with 720 video for the last 6 years. Any ideas?

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check the video settings in Denon, and change the refresh rate of Roku or Apple TV to 1080p at 50Hz

    Hi there , so I bought brand new jvc np5 4k native projector, I was watching top gun maverick and like 5 to 10 mins into the movie it started flickering. Kinda like when u turn a blender on in the kitchen and it flickers . Btwy I'm using an xbox 1x on wifi to stream 4k content. I also changed to 4k 18gbs hdmi cables . Should I hardwire my xbox to my router. What are ur solutions?

    Nothing helps if the led driver (leds power source) gives that. My DLP has a battery and even if there is no ac power source, hdmi etc connected it gives that stroboscopic effect (like some LCD screens have) in menu screen.

    I am using Benq Tk700 Brand New. From day 1 i am facing picture bright and picture dim in movies and sometimes in you tube content. Receiver Yamaha 3060 . Dune HD 4k Pro Media player. Currently I changed my HDMI cable 50 ft length to Blue Rigger 4k 2.1 HDMI cable. Still I face the issues. What may be the problem.

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why don't you lock a complaint with Benq? Also, try checking picture mode settings and normal and eco mode. It can be due to eco mode too!

    • @vcacp
      @vcacp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TanmayMehta What u said is 100% true sir . It's due to eco mode , lamp saver mode and smart echo mode . Its running smooth only at normal mode . How to correct it ? I called benq and they took my projector which is still under warranty. u r suggestion sir ?

    Picture flickering on DLP projectors can be caused by light sensor and a bad colour wheel in most cases, cleaning the light sensor will stop the flickering.
