I finished both game.. Gameplay and graphics are better in tales of arise.. Exploration , towns, storyline and scenery are better on star ocean the divine force .. Overall i enjoyed star ocean the divine force more than tales of arise.
I loved Arise, only game on Xbox I ever got every achievement for. I still need to play star ocean, I started too but it didn't click right away and felt like things weren't explained very well.
I choose divine force. I don't like the stagger system tales of arise has and the mid battle cutscenes. Divine force combat is janky but with item creation and custom buttons you can do a lot of fun experimental stuff. I like the combos In arise but it feels even more hack n slash than the old tales games
Star Ocean TDF is a good game and all but i'm still gonna pick Arise, i'm probably a bit biased too since i only recently got into SO and is a long-time Tales fan. I did like TDF's OST a bit more, however, credit where it's due, that and Laeticia is one of my favorite protagonists, probably up there with Arnice from Nights of Azure/Yoru no Nai Kuni.
I have yet to play the Divine Force, but I have played and even platinumed Arise so I want to at least give my thoughts on it. As far as combat os concerned I think Arise has some of most fun and addictive combat I have played in any game. I never got tired of it, and I even go out of my way to fight enemies even though I became very overleveled. As for the story and characters I personally loved them both. The story may not have been entirely original, but I still thought it was very well written, and it definitely had a few moments that surprised me, and even made me misty eyed. Getting misty eyed over a game's story is something that almost never happens too me. Now the characters... I absolutely loved the main cast, and I thought the the relationship between Alphen and Shione was genuinely sweet, and they way they came to trust one another was very well done. Everyone else Law, Dohalim, and Kisara were were just so damn likable that I genuinely felt bad and gotconcerned for them at certain parts. The characters alone turned the game's story from pretty good to excellent in my eyes. In the end I absolutely loved Tales of Arise, even if I do end up thinking Star Ocean Divine Force is better, I'll alway prefer Tales of Arise largly for what I just mentioned. Tales of Arise isn't a masterpiece in my eyes (I do agree with some of the criticisms on the game's second half) but it's so close to being one to me.
I really enjoyed both of these games. I really enjoyed how you could fly around in star ocean Devine force. I think star ocean is more polished. Over all to me they are both great in their own ways however i did enjoy star ocean more.
Great video. If you'd make a ranking list of action RPGs for the PC like Tales of Arise, Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus, Star Ocean 6, Tales of Berseria, what would it look like. I mean what is the best game of them in your opinion? Thanks in advance
SO6 has better combat and characters, whereas Arise is very limited when it comes to combat. You can't grind in Arise so you'll always be sweating in every boss fights and even higher tiered enemies. SO6 allows you more room for the play style, customization and leveling up. Arise does have better visuals and you can pick up easier after not playing for a while.
Whilst i enjoyed both games. I think Tales of Arise beat SO6 on every single metric. I could talk about this at length. The combat in Arise starts mid then elvoves alot during the entire playthrough. Whilst SO6 started of great, but i personally didnt feel like it changed much at all. I liked about half the cast of SO6, but i adored every memeber of Arise.
Massive star ocean simp here. Star Ocean 6 was my most anticipated from its announcement to its release a year later (even more anticipated than xenoblade 3) I've had less than positive experiences with tales games but Arise really surprised me. Divine force felt a little underwhelming. It was fine but I was hoping they'd take the series to greater heights.
What a timing! Have just started my SO6 playthrough after completing ToA not long ago Edit: ToA was a solid 8/10 About soundtrack in ToA: Exactly! It felt a bit generic Especially given that before ToA I finished Octopath 2 with it's STELLAR soundtrack Star Ocean 6's music also feels better
Sounds like I am going to have to play Star Ocean DF again after looking at these comments. I just couldn’t get into it the first time. I absolutely loved Arise…….. until the last 5-10 hours.
Tales of Arise was the most refined technically while Star Ocean obviously didn't get much in that regard, but I still found it impressive that SO6 managed to add some things to its genre anyway, with the VA system. :D Arise's story still means more to me overall, though. It ended up being a pretty high bar to clear. I still loved ALL the main protagonists from these two games. The main characters had a lot of motive behind them, and refreshing attitudes.
I love both series and I never thought to really compare them. I think they are both solid games. It would be hard for me to pick as both games made me feel different things about them. I look forward to potential sequels but I think the edge belongs ever so slightly to Tales in this case.
I agree with you, Star Ocean The Divine Force is a better game overall in my opinion. Tales of Arise is great but I enjoyed Star Ocean more, the gameplay/combat is peak action JRPG for me, I love the story, the characters, and the music reminds me more of VP series actually LOL
Funny enough I’m more intimately a long time fan with SO series over Tales. But for me ToA won out over SO6 for a variety of factors. I’ll only touch on the story aspect though….I felt like Tales told a more fresh take on a star ocean story than SO6 did. Most SO games break down to a retelling of the importance of the UP3 rule. With SO2 and SO3 breaking further beyond this I had hoped SO6 would do the same but it did the opposite. Found myself more engrossed on ToA story by the time you travel off of Dahna because of this.
TOA for me, SO6 felt off, I didn’t like the level progression, getting better techs didn’t feel like it made a difference. You could just get them pretty quick and it’s just another action rather than feeling stronger. On the other hand, TOA you end up feeling like a beast as your skill progress. Could be just me.
Star Ocean was just felt more satisfying to me and beautiful, but the technical problems on PC really hurt it I think - really need to revisit endgame stuff now that I upgraded my CPU. Tales of Arise was absolutely gorgeous and due to the style may have beaten SO (but hard to say because both are amazing in their own ways) but the story left me feeling hollow. I hope for the best for both series... if SO can improve on the technical side, and Tales can keep the beautiful engine/style but nail better stories, I think they will both become even more awesome and I'll look forward to buying future entries.
Before the DLC ToA, after SO. To be fair even before the DLC I think I would have given it to SO overall. SO actually wish the duma was not part of the combat (maybe to enter combat but that should have been it). For combat I would pick ToA. Story & characters I give it to SO, which is my biggest requirement.
Star Ocean was definitely the funner game to me, TOA was a slog halfway through, but that was just me. The charm of past tales games just wasnt there for me though it was still great, have not tried the DLC though so idk if it changes anything.
I am surprised no one mentioned the egregious DL content in Tales of Arise. When I played that game I was so frustrated by how slow and grindy money farming was and then the $5 DLC to get more money showed the reason why they made the game so damn grindy. If this is a precedence for gaming going forward I am gonna be so depressed. lol That and the repetitiveness of 50% of Tales of Arise's conversations drove me through a wall. Almost every conversation reiterated events more than thrice. You could cut down over ten hours of gameplay if you did away with all repetitive scenes. I have never played the recent Star Ocean, but this alone makes me wanna root for it.
Story: Arise 4/5 Divine 3/5 Grafik: Arise 3,5/5 Divine 3,5/5 Gameplay: Arise 2,5/5 Divine 4,5/5 Music: Arise 2/5 Divine 4/5 The Winner is: Star Ocean: The Divine Force My Point: The Story in Arise is better but the Story in Divine wasnt that bad at all. For the first Time in a Star Ocean game, we got a real antagonist and secondary antagonist and as the story progressed i liked it. Still Arise comes out ahaid, but its not all about the story! Grafics on both title were good, but still not on ps5 level. Arise had tbh no gameplay. The battles were to scripted. There was no freedom. And after some time i started to hate all these boost strike mechanics. Aside from that, there was very little to do in this game. A few quest, an arena, a small bonus dungeon and clollectable owls. Divine gave you much more freedom. It gives YOU the freedom to decide, hiw to defeat the enemy! No boost strike needed, not hit marker on enemy life bars! And it was fun. The characters played different and all of them are unique. The game gives you much more to do aside from the story. But to be fair… no arena. :( Than the last point. The music in arise was bad. Really bad and forgettable. Every track was the same!it comes close to Berserias soundtrack that sucked as well. It was like star ocean got all the good tracks. Yes.. its my personal opinion. But the music in Divine has much more viarity and some really awesome tracks! Here are my favorite: „The Weald“ „Abandoned Mines“ „Peak of the Exiled“ „D.U.M.A“ „Eternal Heat“ „Scarred Dreams: The Terranus“ „The Scorpium“ „The Price of Sacrafice“ „Paladurnia“ „Torrential Minds: The Skorpium Network“ „Tatiana“ „Pierce the Abyss were the Soul resides“ Thats why… Star Ocean comes out on Top!
Arise suffers from a hyper armor boss addiction (can't be stunned most phases) and insufficient enemy variety. It does bode well for the series as a template.
I like Star Ocean more than Tales, though I like almost all titles from both series, even the bad ones. That said, Arise is a grand, big budget return to form, with a shiny new engine, great art-style, solid characters. Divine Force on the other hand is a solid, but safe entry, cribbing off the structure of SO2, still not progressing the timeline past SO3, and it has a bit of a "budget" feel to it in general, stiff animations, washed out, blurry graphics etc. I enjoyed my time with it, but it mostly just made me want to go back and play the other Star Ocean games. Both good games, but I think Arise has this one.
After replaying Tales of Arise recently because of the expansion. Star Ocean: The Divine Force is the better game. The production value of Arise is much higher than Divine Force but Arise slips up in too many areas for me to put it over Divine Force which stays relatively consistent throughout. Starting with Story, I feel that Arise was too ambitious without having the writing talent to make use of it's themes. One example, the writers underestimate how long 300 years is and the writing reflects that with everyone in the world talking like the war between Dahna and Rena is a recent thing like 100-50 years recent. For comparison the USA has only been around for 248 years. And that's just one thing out of many thing Arise tries to do but failed. Whereas Divine Force is a very straight forward story with one fairly complicated idea introduced late which if you didn't get it, that's fine cause it doesn't completely change the story like Arise's plot twist did. For characters Arise does better than Divine Force. Half the cast of Divine Force doesn't really have a reason to be on the journey and the dialogues are kidda bad. It's not Star Ocean: The Last Hope bad but it's definitely worse than Tales of Arise. The three main characters of Divine Force (Raymond, Laeticia, and Elena) are written very well so it makes up for the rest of the cast just being there after their arcs are over but Arise definitely has the better cast. No bullshit Shionne and sus Rinwell are my favorites. That being said, I absolutely hate Law in Arise. Not only did he replace the mentor character that the Arise cast really needed imo but "that" scene in the 4th zone with Rinwell is when everything started going downhill. He also sucks to play as, not being able to dodge cancel his long normal attack strings feels terrible. I will say though, I think the character design is top tier in both games except for Midas, wtf is he wearing or trying to wear. And I think Marielle has one of the best character designs in the last few years and its criminal there aren't more fan art of her. Gameplaywise, Arise is flashy but Divine Force is way better. Divine Force is more complex, has greater player expression, item creation, and Nina is probably one of most unique healers around. Over 100 hours and DUMA never stops being fun to use in and out of combat. Tales of Arise on the other hand starts off really strong and Boost Strikes looks amazing but hyper armor, hp sponges, and CP ruins the otherwise decent combat system. Also Arise probably has the worst boss fights in the series. And then there's thing people never mentions about Tales of Arise is that it's a Pay to Win game. Overpowered Artes locked behind dlc titles. Very expensive recovery items incentives buying the Gald dlc. Artifacts doing things like 30% off store prices, 100+ Max CP, increasing item capacity to 99. All the shit people were outraged over in Dragon's Dogma a couple months ago is actually in Tales of Arise tenfold. It legitimately and massively impacts gameplay and people just ignores it. I get it Tales of games always had alot of micros but it was never this bad to the point where it affects the game design. Another minor thing I want to point out is that Tales of Arise had no real competition when it released in 2021. While Star Ocean had to contend with Xenoblade 3, Chained Echoes, and freaking Elden Ring. That's not to mention the Square Enix Gaming Disaster 2022.
Alright, I started "Divine Force" for myself today because of this video. Can't really say much unless its difficulty turned me off. Faced the first boss and it oneshotted one of my allies on lowest difficulty (!!!). Also the battle combat with jumping / floating and attack feels uncomfortable for me. In general the combat is rather comparable to Ys for me for the combat being field action based. Music from what I've heared it is great although both games share the same composer.
Tbh i like Tales of Arise but the mechanic and the DLCs The super armor - heavy combination is a deadlock deal for me. All you can do is cheese them with Rinwell magic spam. The DLCs is meh. Story is okay but didn't much hype. The conclusion has less impact C'mon Tomizawa, this is not God Eater. You are better than that. Also, how dare you tell us to pay $16 for SAO collab I'll go with Star Ocean 6 then
Finished both, 100% TOA and about 97% on SO6. Definitely TOA was the better game for me. Preferred the combat in TOA, SO6 combat was too easy. Story honestly they're both around the same. Preferred characters in TOA. Preferred side content and challenge of TOA. Music was forgettable for both, although I did enjoy the Arise theme more. The 97% (trying to 100% right this minute) is due to attrocious QOL in SO6, why you can't discard items is beyond me. They should've added in a journal or something to check items created, chests and weapons. They've linked trophies to them at least give me a log.
Tales of arise is more enjoyable to play. It has better characters too. Star ocean was good but it had so much useless areas, skill trees that don’t feel all that unique and just way too easy. Also the combat just felt clunky in divine force whereas arise was mwah. I could beat enemies 20 levels higher than me easily with skill of the controls. In divine force I just started spam guns after a while because everything else felt off
Arise wad way easier...if you just spammed mc fire blade that sucks his hp you can blow through 90% of the game. Arise going Into space really got me going, it was star ocean I was wanting. Divine force was really good and an amazing 7/10 game it was just missing something. Ever since so3 something story wise and gameplay has been missing.
Arise just felt sluggish it's combat was off for me. Divine force apart from the eratic difficulty I had to grind early and didn't need to worry about levels afterwards but I enjoyed it a lot more
Star Ocean was a better game to me. I felt like the story started falling off towards the end but it was a enjoyable ride. I loved creating my own combos kinda sorta and I have to say the abilities the healer has are amazing. I swear if this was a coop game or if you gave some of her moves to healers in other games with a better Ai you'd be unstoppable. (I beat this game) Tales of Arise combat was good and character designs were cool but I wasn't really hooked. The story started off strong but I lost interest after awhile. (I didn't finish this game.) If I'm being honest and this is probably a Hot take Tales of has fallen off after Zestria. Berseria and Arise to me are just Meh. (Xillia/Vesperia/Abyss/Zestria are good tales games to me)
I had more fun playing ToA, the cast aucked me in buy I preferred DF cast and dialogue bug Arise just sucked me in more. ToA sponge hp sucked but DF just didn't draw me into it's combat or story sadly, I loved the concepts in DF but something just never kicked I to that next gear while arise did.
I prefer Star Ocean over Arise. The second half of Tales of Arise is really boring. Star Ocean is more consistent in the story, and it doesn't waste your time like in Arise
I’m just go seem like a troll. Saying divine force is better than arise at all is crazy…. Arise did better overall and just plays better. You can like something but damn just admit one is better. It’s possible to do that.
I think SOTDF is better. Better plot, better characters, better environment. Combat is more dependent on taste so not much comments here. Arise has a very biome feel to it, some of which feel very lifeless (volcano region for example), plot and most characters are meh and everything feels like a downgrade since the PS2-PS3 era of Tales so the disappointment might be a huge factor. To this day, I still think Tales of the Abyss was the best mainline Tales game ever. (Which makes it Arise doubly disappointing now that I realize Abyss and Arise are both ToA) I also really. R.E.A.L.L.Y. hated what they did to the enemy's Mystic artes. Poor Edna and Eizen got the worst of it.
IMO Star Ocean The Divine Force is easily better than Tales of Arise, which is the worst Tales game I've played to date, parts of the gameplay made the whole of the game so boring and unplayable for me, that I stopped playing, Star Ocean on the other hand, from what I've played so far is very good, my PS5 then broke, so I haven't been able to finish it yet.
Star Ocean is the psycho ex-girlfriend of JRPGs: I so badly wanted to embrace it, I so badly wanted to put my arms around it and love it, but the game has just so many self-destructive tendencies. It takes all the things good that it does and always adds on something that is just an obvious thing to avoid, that all modern games avoid, and it just can't get out of its own way. Luck based crafting systems are terrible game design. Literally the entire rest of the world figured it out over 10 years ago. Luck based crafting systems only do one thing: increase player frustration. No one else, but Star Ocean, still uses this out-dated, utterly terrible and infuriating game mechanic. It's the psycho ex-girlfriend's heroin addiction: everyone else figured out it was terrible long ago, but the psycho ex just can't quit. The way Star Ocean starts the Esowa mini-game is terrible. You get your starter kit for the mini-game in the third town your visit, but you can't play right away because all the players in town are higher level than you are and won't take on your challenges until you increase your rank. Bullshit. I know I can fast travel to the first town and play if I want to, that's not the point. Either A) give me the starter deck in the first two, or B) make the NPC players in the third town level 1. Don't do this stupid thing that just pisses off everyone and tells people you don't understand basic game design. In Trails of Cold Steel 3, Vantage Master (an example of an extremely well designed mini-game) starter decks are given out by the owner of the bookstore. The first Vantage Master opponent is the kid playing the game in the very same store, you turn around after getting a starter deck, and the FIRST NPC you see is the first opponent. No fast travel, no moving even, and you don't even have to walk out the door to the store to find your first opponent. That is what great game design looks like. Make it as easy as possible for me to start playing your mini-game, don't make me think about how to find someone to play against and don't frustrate me with every NPC in the town I got the starter deck from not wanting to play with me because I'm a beginner. There's plenty I could say about the broken plot, but I'll spare people that. I love the concept of Star Ocean, and I really want to like it, but the relationship has become toxic.
Of the two, I’ve only played TOA, and while TOA starts great, it really dips in quality by the end of the game, let’s just say the story falls apart and the pacing is atrocious, it’s nothing but cutscenes at the end.
Tried the demo of star ocean... Such a disappointment... Empty location, smashing combat system (ys games are much better), flat design.... I love action rpg but i decided not to buy it after playing the boring demo... Loved the demo of second story R...
the design of the main character's face from Star Ocean is the ugliest one i've ever saw in a game. SO MUCH CRINGY AND STRANGE. HOW CAN SOMEONE DESIGN SOMETHING THIS AWFUL? but the game itself is awesome.
star ocean ia the worse, the graphic is blurry and its still laggy in pc, and the script bro oh the script is super sucks, just by the prologue i can see how bad the script is, and the combat is just a copycat of berseria, customized combo buttons exactly the same as tales of berseria
This VS videos are a really cool idea.
I finished both game.. Gameplay and graphics are better in tales of arise.. Exploration , towns, storyline and scenery are better on star ocean the divine force ..
Overall i enjoyed star ocean the divine force more than tales of arise.
I think that too. The Star Ocean is more faithful to the previous games of the franchise.
agree, plus the es' owa minigame is so good in star ocean
did u platinum them? trophy wise which one is more enjoyable? and which is easier?
Beat Arise, playing SO6 now. So far it feels like Arise starts off better while SO6 is the more consistent narrative and structure.
Well I've been avoiding star ocean since the last hope, but this video convinced me to give the new one a try. Thanks.
Please continue this vs series.
I'm in Erick's camp only because i love Star Ocean series better then Tales. Both games are very good if you like JRPG's Great video love it.
Finished both and have to say star ocean is better. More soul better combat. Felt just more fun overall
No it's not.
Bro you need glasses 😂
I totally agree, star ocean is 8/10, arise was very disappointing for me, 6/10
Star Ocean has soul and Arise has Polish. It's hard to choose, but I'll go Star Ocean.
@@ElectricFeel422star ocean is a better franchise
I hope the next Tales of. . .game keeps the core of the combat system from Tales of Arise.
Nice idea for a video. Played SO6 and I thought it was remarkable for how little budget it had. When I play ToA I'll answer properly.
I loved Arise, only game on Xbox I ever got every achievement for. I still need to play star ocean, I started too but it didn't click right away and felt like things weren't explained very well.

Tales of arise feels like a spirit sucessor of radiata stories because it is a Action RPG that you can create your combos/skill
I really enjoyed both of these games. I really enjoyed how you could fly around in star ocean Devine force. I think star ocean is more polished. Over all to me they are both great in their own ways however i did enjoy star ocean more.
Can you compare Astral Chain and Scarlet Nexus
I just finished Star Ocean and really enjoyed it a lot. I just bought Arise and will come back in probably 6 months with my opinion on it!
Star ocean is better and more to do to 100% completion
Great video. If you'd make a ranking list of action RPGs for the PC like Tales of Arise, Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus, Star Ocean 6, Tales of Berseria, what would it look like. I mean what is the best game of them in your opinion? Thanks in advance

You could make a list of JRPGs with best dialogue? Seems like no one has made one on youtube so it'd be novel.
Whilst i enjoyed both games.

Have just started my SO6 playthrough after completing ToA not long ago
Edit: ToA was a solid 8/10
About soundtrack in ToA: Exactly! It felt a bit generic
Especially given that before ToA I finished Octopath 2 with it's STELLAR soundtrack
Star Ocean 6's music also feels better

I feel the same. Star ocean 6 was okay but Arise actually surprised me
Star Ocean does run a continuous story thread where Tales starts new ones all the time, so that creates a bit of contrast between them.
I loved them both but I think Star Ocean was superior and Arise drug on after a bit
Fans of ps1-2 era tales and so here.
Divine force is much more fun to combat. Exploration too with duma. Story is more consistent.
Star Ocean was just felt more satisfying to me and beautiful, but the technical problems on PC really hurt it I think - really need to revisit endgame stuff now that I upgraded my CPU. The Winner is: Star Ocean: The Divine Force
My Point:
The Story in Arise is better but the Story in Divine wasnt that bad at all.
Than the last point.
The music in arise was bad. Really bad and forgettable. Every track was the same!it comes close to Berserias soundtrack that sucked as well. It was like star ocean got all the good tracks. Yes.. its my personal opinion. But the music in Divine has much more viarity and some really awesome tracks!
Here are my favorite:
„The Weald“
„Abandoned Mines“
„Peak of the Exiled“
„D.U.M.A“
„Eternal Heat“
„Scarred Dreams: The Terranus“
„The Scorpium“
„The Price of Sacrafice“
„Paladurnia“
„Torrential Minds: The Skorpium Network“
„Tatiana“
„Pierce the Abyss were the Soul resides“
Thats why… Star Ocean comes out on Top!
Arise suffers from a hyper armor boss addiction (can't be stunned most phases) and insufficient enemy variety. It does bode well for the series as a template.
Are you from Brazil? Your accent sounds like Max Cavalera.
Mexican who travelled to USA
I got bored playing star ocean DF...from gameplay and story I prefer tales of arise.
Next kuro no kiseki vs metaphor refantazio.
So, if I(we) own physical copies of both, then I(we) win.
However, if I(we) own only one or neither, then I(we) lose.
Please do Trails of series vs Honkai Star Rail
Alright, I started "Divine Force" for myself today because of this video.
Can't really say much unless its difficulty turned me off.
Faced the first boss and it oneshotted one of my allies on lowest difficulty (!!!).
Also the battle combat with jumping / floating and attack feels uncomfortable for me.
In general the combat is rather comparable to Ys for me for the combat being field action based.
Music from what I've heared it is great although both games share the same composer.
Yees star ocean🎉🎉🎉❤
Tbh i like Tales of Arise but the mechanic and the DLCs
The super armor - heavy combination is a deadlock deal for me. All you can do is cheese them with Rinwell magic spam. The DLCs is meh. Story is okay but didn't much hype. The conclusion has less impact
C'mon Tomizawa, this is not God Eater. You are better than that. Also, how dare you tell us to pay $16 for SAO collab
I'll go with Star Ocean 6 then
Finished both, 100% TOA and about 97% on SO6.
In divine force I just started spam guns after a while because everything else felt off
Star Ocean The Divine Force was an improvement on the series.
Tales has been in decline since Xillia IMO.
I played both, and both are horrible. Pretty waifus and that's it. Too childish.
(I beat this game)
Tales of Arise combat was good and character designs were cool but I wasn't really hooked.
Arise is better, but so 6 is decent too.
Funny how you re obsessed with legend of heroes trails series but doesn't have tales as a favorite too
I’m just go seem like a troll.
(Which makes it Arise doubly disappointing now that I realize Abyss and Arise are both ToA)
I also really.
I hated that rocket pack thing in star ocean... damn near game breaking
ive got bored halfway through Tales of Arise
The lack of ngplus and overreliance on rng for item creation makes me hate s06 so much.
Of the two, I’ve only played TOA, and while TOA starts great, it really dips in quality by the end of the game, let’s just say the story falls apart and the pacing is atrocious, it’s nothing but cutscenes at the end.
even i am a massive tales fan, but i think divine force is a much better game than arise
it really isnt
Tried the demo of star ocean... Such a disappointment... Empty location, smashing combat system (ys games are much better), flat design.... I love action rpg but i decided not to buy it after playing the boring demo... Loved the demo of second story R...
Didnt finish divine force..cuz of the shitty graphics on ps4 lol..
the design of the main character's face from Star Ocean is the ugliest one i've ever saw in a game. SO MUCH CRINGY AND STRANGE. HOW CAN SOMEONE DESIGN SOMETHING THIS AWFUL? but the game itself is awesome.
Arise after dohalim arc felt really boring
star ocean ia the worse, the graphic is blurry and its still laggy in pc, and the script bro oh the script is super sucks, just by the prologue i can see how bad the script is, and the combat is just a copycat of berseria, customized combo buttons exactly the same as tales of berseria
Star Ocean has been trash for decades at this point.
Divine Force is UGLY, like really UGLY.
