@@jackieaina Jackie, I don't think you ever did a review on them but you might like the colourpop or Milani cream blushes more. Colourpop also did cream highlights in the same collection!
The negative comments about Jackie’s opinion annoy me. She didn’t bash this line just said it wasn’t chocolate girl friendly and a little too sheer for her. I’ll probably get 3 out of the 5 that jackie liked to wear on my no make up make up days. Thank you for your time, effort, and review Jackie, it helped a lot!
I agree Jackie just gave her options and how the worked for her. BUT I feel like it’s chocolate DRY girl friendly. I’m way darker than Jackie and I LOVE this line.
I don't know why people are confused as to why Jackie doesn't like it. its small as hell for over $20 and she has to used 1/4 of the pan in one use just to see the colour on the skin. by pigmented she means in the sense a little goes a long way why are people not getting that 😂
They get it - they just don't care, and that's unfortunate. The colors were sheer - but she had to pack it on just to see the color = which means the color didn't look as natural as it would look on lighter skin tone women who didn't have to pack it on. I don't get why folks can't be honest about that. This reminded me of glossier, and in a bad way.
the reason they made it small is cause its creamy if they made it bigger it would've dried another brand released a creamy blush and the size was big but it dried before people even got to use them they were made small on purpose to have a longer shelf life and jackie said it wasn't pigmented enough yet models DARKER than her have been praising the brand for inclusivity as well as wearing fenty daily the whole fenty brand was built to be a "no make up make up" look
@@jackieaina Like sheer =/= invisible!! If you have to layer the product 3x (you literally dipped repeatedly for most shades) that is so much effort and product wasted just to lay down a HINT of pigment. I get what you're saying Jackie! As a light skin person, "sheer" on me means that one swipe, on intial application, there is visible pigment. And these products should have the proper shades suited for all other skin tones as well!!!!
@@arielfeasts exactly. It's really obvious looking at some cosmetics products in 'inclusive' lines that the products have been conceptualised and tested by light skinned people only, because when you see them on deeper skin they either don't show up, or they sit on top like paint. There was a launch this week (I won't name them) that had a black model and a white model doing arm swatches of the products- on the white skin it was a series of lovely soft colours that all looked different and progressively darker. On the black skin it was a whole arm of nothing, with a bit of glitter. It was really quite striking. It must be difficult to create products that universally suit all skins, but it would be nice to see more effort in that direction, or more variation within brand ranges.
@@saraha2525 If someone with deeper skin is enjoying it, that's great, but my point was really about the conception and production of cosmetics. I don't believe women of colour are often considered at this stage, even by brands that use deeper skinned models to advertise, or claim to include them.

Why are the blushes so small? they look like travel size components, while the bronzers look like regular sized products. And then Fenty wants to charge $20 for a tiny ass pan? no maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam.
They sized them smaller so they could charge roughly half price to encourage people to splurge on multiple blushes. Most people only need one bronzer, but don't you want pink, orange, and purple? Heh
I love a sheer blush and natural makeup. But from Jackie's replies in the comments, the point she is making is the oily formula and lack of pigment is an issue for darker complexions as by the time she'd built it up to show on her skin tone, it was far too oily 💕 This would be great for me with pale dry skin. But I think she's trying to say it's not so suitable for darker particularly oilier complexions which is what fenty is meant to accommodate.
I got rosé latte and strawberry drip- I like that they build up really nicely instead of instant pigment. Too many times have I accidentally gotten Clown School Realness with super pigmented blushes 😭😂😂
I’m light handed so I had to build these up so much (just to still look sheer on my complexion) that by the time I got it to look how I wanted it to look it was a bit too oily. Pass on most of these!
I’m so glad that you kept trying them all even tho sheer isn’t for you. So many people would be like nope and just stop at 2. I personally will be buying because I like the way it looked on your skin. Always love your honest opinion. 🤎
Mariah G lolll literally how I felt about the Fenty Beauty ‘Penny4UThots’ highlighter. I SEARCHED AND SCOURED THE EARTH FOR THE VIDEO SHE REVIEWED IT IN. It was such a quick mention but it was worth the look again cause I needed to make sure I was gonna spend that heavy coin’t.....& I did just that 😹😹😹
I usually don't like blushes but I love this formula because it's sheer and natural (I have strawberry drip). I agree with Jackie, it's more about preferences she loves pigmented blushes so I get what she's saying. If you like sheer and natural blushes they are worth it, if you preffer pigmented ones maybe is not for you.
As someone who enjoys a bare minimum look, cream blushes are the BEST for those looks. By bare minimum for me personally, I’m talkin a touch of concealer, eyebrows, mascara, cream highlighter, a nice lip gloss, and last but not least CREAM BLUSH. So, I agree with Jackie that the blushes are not meant for a full glam look over a lot of foundation and powder, but on bare skin and concealer/tinted moisturizer it’s absolutely perfect. It gives the perfect natural effortless look, I highly recommend the blushes if that is the kind of look you like! Don’t knock em til ya try em!
I think it’s fair that she ended up liking all the shades that were geared more towards deeper skin tones. The other ones seem like they would fit lighter skin tones. Even on the website the lighter ones weren’t modeled on deeper skin tones so to me it makes sense. Love this review and excited to receive the blushes I ordered 🤗
Agree with you about the cream bronzers giving more of a contour effect. Patricia Bright had the same view - the powder bronzers are much warmer. Thanks for the honest content Queen 🤩🤩🤩
Jackie, do the damn thang. Sis, why you just consistently tell the truth?!?! Fenty & real ones gonna appreciate this. When you’re excellent, you don’t mind truth tellers...’cause you’re a truth seeker🌻
The way that you see undertones is so amazing. It’s taken me so long using one foundation to realize it had yellow undertones. It’s so cool that you can just see it so fast, and it’s been teaching me. Like “oh ok I see that now”. Thank u for educating me!
I think I used the Natasha denona biba palette I truthfully don’t even remember, so sorry 😭 I just kind of threw something on for the review since the cheek stuff was my main focus
I really appreciated that you swatched the whole collection of blushes ON YOUR FACE. Thank you so much, and thanks for the effort of redoing your foundation underneath
I’m starting to think this is probably for the girls that like a lil bit of color on those minimum days. I think I’ll get it for those summer days when I’m not going to pile on makeup. Also that orange looked good on you to me. It made you glow a bit and that’s how I like it. That’s probably the one I’m going to get. Thanks!
I’ve been wearing Daiquiri Dip for the past week on my bare skin and girl let me tell you something. The healthy flush it gives is unmatched. Planning to pick up rose latte when it comes back in stock
I've been loving most of Glossiers products because I've been CRAVING for make up lines to do more sheer, non-matte, light coverage make up. This review completely convinced me to get these blushes
I am SOOO glad Jackie did this review, I have been struggling to figure out which blush works for me. The sheerness is plus for me since I do a subtle look for work
Ahhh Auntie Jackie I’m so excited that you’re participating in the commencement for the class of 2020🤩🤩 I’m graduating with a B.S. in Nursing from San Diego State University! 👩🏽🎓👩🏽⚕️
Someone doesn’t need to be flaw-free to be excellent at what they do. Why are so many people in these comments pretending these products are perfect and visionary? Now Ri is a visionary and started a movement 100% but that doesn’t mean that these products come through the way they should, especially at this price point 🤨
I love their innovation, but when you can get such good drugstore brands now, there isn't much excuse for a mid market brand like Fenty to be putting out stuff that isn't quite there yet. She's not high end, but she isn't cheap either. You can probably get a cream blush from L'Oreal or Rimmel at a fraction of the price of Fenty.
I love how she isn’t shy to show her pit hair , now a days girls feel like it’s a MUST to be hairless , like gurl , hair is natural it’s ok to have it , YOU GO JACKIE🥳🥳🥳💞💞💞
I personally love sheer blushes but I definitely get your point and agree with you. I love that you look out for the people that are darker than you, much respect for that. I will definitely use these in the winter but it's a no for summer because it seems like tinted Vaseline.. Also, I love the powder tip. This launch was meh to me...
I don’t mind that the blushes are sheer... that’s my preference actually... but I knew something was off about the “bronzers” and it’s that they aren’t bronzers! Beautiful for contouring but they’re so neutral/cool... just depth, no warmth. I love the powder bronzers and Coco Naughty is BAE! Do you have the Match Stix GLOW Skinstick in Purrrl? I can’t seem to get it to work for me and a demo from you would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, love you!
Totally and and a half agree with the "bronzers" lol!! (You putting those quotations took me out lmao) They're quite nice but definitely more suited to sculpting once you get past the very lightest shades. I'll def be sticking with my Salt NY cremes and Rituel de Fille. The blushes though are sheer to the point too much is needed to truly appear even sheerly on *deeep*/*very melanin enriched* skin and causes them to be much too emollient for anyone but the dryest of skins. Which is not a balanced formulation imo, but also excludes very deep skin which def seems...off for Rihanna's brand (sisnis supposed to be for the CULTURE lol I know she still is; I just think this formulation is an oversight). RCMA and Graftobian creme blushes, Danessa Myricks creme colors, and even Glossier cloud paints provide color that can be truly sheer on any complexion without veering too oily or needing too much product, and are also friendly to relatively friendly to blend out. Again, just my opinions!😭 I liked your tone and the fact you left a long comment and it's BORING in this damn house I just want somebody to talk makeup with😂
See i knew it!! I only bought cool berry and i love it on my skin tone!! So i knew it was going to look beautiful on you!! I’m glad you showed the powder on top because i wasn’t liking the shine! Now i know what I’m missing lol
Hello Jackie, I hope you’re having a good day and that you’re enjoying your kombucha. Thank you for spoiling the girls with content. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Jackie great overview however, the Fenty line needs to recruit you for it's dark skinned women to create a solid workable palette. I believe this because you have such a unique way of experimenting with color and formula in ways that are rarely seen on social media influencers.
It seems like half the colors were sheer to cater to fairer skin so that it wouldn’t be so daunting to have bright pink stamped on their pale cheeks, and then the deeper half was a little more pigmented for deeper skin colors that needed less building and more immediate payoff. That makes sense to me personally, but I’m speaking as a woman of lighter complexion.
TBH, some of the blushes you would think would look good on fairer skin tones in this collection don’t/didn’t work for me. Petal Poppin was the one I tried that actually did look good, tho.
I love when you review products because I know it’s going to be 100% the TRUTH! Jackie keeps it all the way real and I just want to say thank you! You’re the best auntie I’ve ever had 💖
T0rii W it could def be more, she needs someone on the team with a deep skin tone who can guide them to what they are missing. I noticed the same thing about their eyeshadow. I love the shadows but I’m light skinned. I have the pallet and the snaps and it’s my jam, but A lot of people deeper toned then me can’t use them. They have to work that out.
I think she does a lot of the pinks that look good on her skin but not necessarily on darker skin. But she does listen to the fans so I know RIH will cook something up for us!
I've been quite surprised that a lot of their launches still seem geared to my kind of skin tone. The Moroccan spice palette is the kind of thing I wear day to day, it seems a bit odd there's nothing more considered for deeper skin.
Loveeee that you tried different bases and even tried a tinted moisturizer for each blush 🙏🙏 suuuppper appreciate the effort you put into these reviews
I felt so bad for your poor cheeks! All those swatches. Jackie's pores, Thank you for your sacrifice. That rose latte was the prettiest to me, but with a couple exceptions, most of them were really nice on your skin tone. Even the purple one. I'm afraid of cream blushes.
This has absolutely nothing to do with this lovely honest review, which I appreciate, but these edits have me rollingggg on the floor. I always love Jackie's edits
Jackie over here talking about cocoa naughty and chocolate, and I'm now standing in my kitchen, eating a chocolate frosty, and debating with myself what undertone the color of my frosty is.
I love Jackie's reviews always! I don't care about these types of products. As someone with oily skin, this looks like a greasy nightmare during the summer.
I actually love how sheer the blushes are - I love blush but I can be heavy handed if I don’t pay attention when putting it on. I love a nice, subtle blush color, and honestly I thought all the colors looked gorgeous on you 👏🏾
Some of the shades are def contour, the lightest color amber is. There is the same color amber in the match sticks and it’s labeled as a contour there. I think it comes down to cream contour being intimidating and not as marketable
I love how you’re willing to give constructive criticism, even to a brand like Fenty. You’re a real one Jackie.

I’m light handed so I had to build these up so much (just to still look sheer on my complexion) that by the time I got it to look how I wanted it to look it was a bit too oily. Pass on most of these!
@@jackieaina I'm the opposite and definitely get out of hand way too fast- I'm working on it 😂 Thanks for your thorough and honest review!!
“jAcKiE dOeSnT kNoW wHaT sHeEr is”
robyn rihanna fenty herself: sheer and buildable blush
that animal crossing sequence just cured my depression
Same. I couldn't get enough of it. 😂😂😂😂
The chocolatey velvety richness of Jackie's eyeshadow though...🤤
Right! I immediately went to see what is one her eyes but I didn't see it
Exactly!!!
The fact that the blushes were sheer makes me want them more, minimal sheer dewy makeup is my favorite 🤗
Jackie is always gorgeous but her beauty was SHINING through the screen today like wow
The effort of you redoing your base for multiple times is remarkable for a review. RESPECT 💯🙏🏽
Literally was thinking thiss👏🏾👏🏾
I’m so glad that you kept trying them all even tho sheer isn’t for you. So many people would be like nope and just stop at 2. I personally will be buying because I like the way it looked on your skin. Always love your honest opinion. 🤎
If auntie Jackie hasn’t reviewed it then the verdict has not been made sis👩🏽💻
Mariah G Periodt !!
Mariah G lolll literally how I felt about the Fenty Beauty ‘Penny4UThots’ highlighter. I SEARCHED AND SCOURED THE EARTH FOR THE VIDEO SHE REVIEWED IT IN. It was such a quick mention but it was worth the look again cause I needed to make sure I was gonna spend that heavy coin’t.....& I did just that 😹😹😹
Periodt 🗣🗣🗣
I like real criticism of the brand. And the products not every product is going to hit. With everyone 😓
OMG I HAVENT SEEN JACKIE IN BRAIDS IN A MINUTEE!!! SHE LOOKS AMAZING, I LOVE IT!!!!
Which ones did you get? 😃
I'm curious to know which ones you got as well 👉🏾👈🏾
KayBee I ordered Rosé Latté and Strawberry Drip.
niy I ordered Rosé Latté and Strawberry Drip. Can’t wait til they arrive 😅
@@BrianaKelly12 omg you'll probably look bomb in them lol 💖 I wanna get one but I don't know if i want a pink one or red
Agree with you about the cream bronzers giving more of a contour effect. Patricia Bright had the same view - the powder bronzers are much warmer. Thanks for the honest content Queen 🤩🤩🤩
I'm getting coloured Vaseline vibes from some of those blushes 😬😭
lol basically
Jackie, do the damn thang. Sis, why you just consistently tell the truth?!?! Fenty & real ones gonna appreciate this. When you’re excellent, you don’t mind truth tellers...’cause you’re a truth seeker🌻
Thank you!! I was too scared to take the heat for saying that😂😂
This review is just one reason why I love Jackie! 💯 percent REALNESS! Also the braids are giving me LIFE chile!
thanks lovely 💗
The way that you see undertones is so amazing. It’s taken me so long using one foundation to realize it had yellow undertones. It’s so cool that you can just see it so fast, and it’s been teaching me. Like “oh ok I see that now”. Thank u for educating me!
Okay I’m begging for the eye look
I’ve got sooo many neutral eye looks on here!
Jackie Aina I’ll watch all of those 🥺, but did you use your palette to make it ?
I think I used the Natasha denona biba palette I truthfully don’t even remember, so sorry 😭 I just kind of threw something on for the review since the cheek stuff was my main focus
Okaaaay, this eye look is astounding
I really appreciated that you swatched the whole collection of blushes ON YOUR FACE. Thank you so much, and thanks for the effort of redoing your foundation underneath
They’re like a healthy looking face type of blush... I’m digging on a minimal day of makeup
Sunshine xoxo same would be purchasing the variety. I’m a light skin black girl of African decent.
the term "cream" blushes for these is very misleading, these are at best a balm. like a sheer chapstick for your cheeks
thank god I saw this💀 saved me so much$$$
I’m starting to think this is probably for the girls that like a lil bit of color on those minimum days. I think I’ll get it for those summer days when I’m not going to pile on makeup. Also that orange looked good on you to me. It made you glow a bit and that’s how I like it. That’s probably the one I’m going to get. Thanks!
i really just cant stop staring at the eyeshadow

Me tooooo
Jonnae Ashely same! I just kept thinking what is that on her eyes because 😍😍😍😍
Same. 🥰
This drop isn't bad... it's just for a different type of natural minimalist beachy girl?... I'm getting glossier vibes.
When she smells each one even tho she knows they not scented 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
What’s darker than deep if deep isn’t deep? That’s deep Jackie

What the hell is going on with this comment? Lol yAaSs, girl! 😂😂
@@SamMKKK You literally made me laugh out loud 🤦♀️😂😂
I've been loving most of Glossiers products because I've been CRAVING for make up lines to do more sheer, non-matte, light coverage make up. This review completely convinced me to get these blushes
In my opinion some of the blushes would look great on lips
I am SOOO glad Jackie did this review, I have been struggling to figure out which blush works for me. The sheerness is plus for me since I do a subtle look for work
Ahhh Auntie Jackie I’m so excited that you’re participating in the commencement for the class of 2020🤩🤩 I’m graduating with a B.S. in Nursing from San Diego State University! 👩🏽🎓👩🏽⚕️
Nathalie Carraway Congrats Grad!
Congrats girl 🎉
Vivian Mathis thank you sm!!
Lioness268 thank youuuu💘🥰

Amen 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I love how she isn’t shy to show her pit hair , now a days girls feel like it’s a MUST to be hairless , like gurl , hair is natural it’s ok to have it , YOU GO JACKIE🥳🥳🥳💞💞💞
I personally love sheer blushes but I definitely get your point and agree with you. I love that you look out for the people that are darker than you, much respect for that. I will definitely use these in the winter but it's a no for summer because it seems like tinted Vaseline.. Also, I love the powder tip. This launch was meh to me...
When jakie says shes not wearing any foundation i nearly spat out my front tooth 😑
Lol
Again, just my opinions!😭 I liked your tone and the fact you left a long comment and it's BORING in this damn house I just want somebody to talk makeup with😂
Vivian Mathis I like the blushes is very subtle. I want it to look natural which it gives me that vibe.
See i knew it!! I only bought cool berry and i love it on my skin tone!! So i knew it was going to look beautiful on you!! I’m glad you showed the powder on top because i wasn’t liking the shine! Now i know what I’m missing lol
I love how Jackie reviews, she’s so honest and if I was a brand owner I would love her input!
You singing “touch me tease me “ just gave life and a throwback for real !!!
28 minutes doesn’t even feel like 28 minutes with Jackie lol. I always enjoy every single minute of your videos 🤗💕
Yeaaa Tha Video Went Off Reall Fast Even Though It Was 28 Mins😂
Hello Jackie, I hope you’re having a good day and that you’re enjoying your kombucha. Thank you for spoiling the girls with content. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Jackie great overview however, the Fenty line needs to recruit you for it's dark skinned women to create a solid workable palette. I believe this because you have such a unique way of experimenting with color and formula in ways that are rarely seen on social media influencers.
“Camouflage them quarantine snacks you been eating”
LOOOOOLLLL NEEEEEDDDDDDDD !!!!! 😩😩😩😂
Unpopular opinion: Rihanna needs more of a variety products for darker skin tones because there’s not enough.🤟🏾
T0rii W I think they will. Unlike other brands, Fenty does listen to its reviewers

I felt so bad for your poor cheeks! All those swatches. Jackie's pores, Thank you for your sacrifice. That rose latte was the prettiest to me, but with a couple exceptions, most of them were really nice on your skin tone. Even the purple one. I'm afraid of cream blushes.

That chocolate 🍫 🤤
This has absolutely nothing to do with this lovely honest review, which I appreciate, but these edits have me rollingggg on the floor. I always love Jackie's edits
Ayyeeeeee “just a lil under arm hair” 😂😂😂
Jackie was losing it because she realized Rihanna made cream blushes with only 2 shades for darker skin tones out of the whole collection.
Jackie over here talking about cocoa naughty and chocolate, and I'm now standing in my kitchen, eating a chocolate frosty, and debating with myself what undertone the color of my frosty is.
😂😂😂😂
I love Jackie's reviews always! I don't care about these types of products. As someone with oily skin, this looks like a greasy nightmare during the summer.
Girl I looooove your energy... been watching since 2010 and getting back into makeup vids. Glad to see you’re still here with the content.
I actually love how sheer the blushes are - I love blush but I can be heavy handed if I don’t pay attention when putting it on. I love a nice, subtle blush color, and honestly I thought all the colors looked gorgeous on you 👏🏾
The purple oh my god 😱😱 that on top of any of those blushed would be 🔥🔥
Fenty should’ve just called these cream contours
Some of the shades are def contour, the lightest color amber is. There is the same color amber in the match sticks and it’s labeled as a contour there. I think it comes down to cream contour being intimidating and not as marketable
A H Aw ok lol I guess they didn’t read
The Fenty Beauty website describes them as a bronzer or a soft contour product
there’s no such thing as a bronzer and a contour...
Jackie Aina can you clarify what you mean by that?
That purple came out of nowhere. Initial reaction was “who the f puts purple on their cheek”. But damn it looked gooood.
