I doubted myself to go into IT because I’m not good at math and thought it was for “nerdy, smart” people. I’m also a black woman and it’s motivating to see you in the program ❤ Please post more updates!
Aww I love this, so much relatability for me
Stick with it! Its a great career with longevity. Also yes to going to school and getting your Bachelors. It is always a good idea in my opinion to get the degree. They can take away many things but they can't take away your knowledge and skills.
Thank you!!🥰🙏🏾
@@briannanicolexo1 what specifically in information technology are you interested in?
congratulations! I just got my degree in CyberSecurity this month.
Subbed!
Congratulations!! Any job offer in the field so far?
Your path sounds like mine. I’m studying for Comptia A+ to get my foot in the door w/ IT 💪🏾
Glad l found your channel I'm in school now for information technology this is my first semester and l love it keep up the good work we got this👍🏽
Thank you!! I can’t wait!
Both my grandparents were in the tech field and both made 6 figures so I’m going to do the same for the money😂
What do they do?
Glad i found your page! I’ve always had a thing for tech but gravitated towards healthcare cause of working in healthcare. But recently wanted a change now im looking to switch my major to Cyber Defense ❤. So nice to see women like me in the tech world! Hope all is well ❤
Almost to 1000! you just got a new follower. I'm entering in the tech field. Currently working help desk. I'm 4 months in and just enrolled back in school. My end goal is cyber security hopefully as a pen tester. Loved your vid and I will be turn on the notifications
This was so helpful & motivating thank you! I’ve been wanting to major in Psychology too and I also suck at mouth. 😂 I loved this video.
finishing high school i was so scared about where to go next cause i had no idea what to do with my life. i applied to a few places and i got accepted in my last option which was an engineer of information technology. i was so scared to take up the place cause i didnt think i could do it and thought that maybe it isnt for me. im not the best at math or science so the idea kinda terrified me. i just put off on deciding until came the final day of being able to accept the spot, so i did cause i didnt have another plan.
school starts in a month and im both scared and excited. hoping that this path will be something that is exciting and inspiring for me. so as a piece of advice, just go ahead and try! if you find out that it isnt for you then thats okay! good luck to everyone in the field and to those who are thinking of starting, you will find your place eventually♡
Same, IT is my last option and my math isn't good, I'm so nervous.
I’m so happy I found your video. I myself lost my financial aid halfway through my bachelor’s in social work and I didn’t know what to do after so I never went back, but now I’m just trying to figure out where to start to do information technology.
Hello can u explain your experience in social work
So happy to find your video and channel! I’m a business admin major finishing my associates and going to continue my bachelors in university and I have decided to choose information systems and technology instead of human resources . For us it’s under business administration and it’s called Information systems and technology. I always loved business and tech.
I needed to see this video thank you 💪🏾
i'm glad i found your channel. ive been in a dilemma with just choosing my career degree path which i've wanted to do something with computers. im in a junior college going for my A.S degree in computer information technology as i just had a gut feeling a bachelors would be too redundant and too much, i just wanna take a step at a time.
Recently just found your channel. I'm also getting my Bachelor's in Information Technology as well. Can't wait for the next video. 😁👌🏿🤝🏿 Just subscribed to your channel as well. Love seeing black people in tech.
That's funny I'm Breann Nicole... (BREE) ❤
I am in community college rn as a health science major in Pre-PA and recently I have been seeing girls graduating BS becoming software engineer at these big companies something I thought I would never be close to even be introduced to before graduating hs. I thought it something only the 1% of people could do. My freshman year at CC I knew I wanted to be in the health field but I was horrible at science and just basically had no work ethic so I am glad I went to CC instead an actually to actually learn work ethic. The point is sometime I feel like If I pick the right choice going in the PA track
Just do what you want. If you never fail in life then you never know was true success feels like
Thanks for this video!! You’re awesome
So happy for you
The apps and websites is my area I am excited

Hey girl! How do you like the course careers IT program?
How did you get started? I’ve had my degree now for 2 years and I’m still having a hard time. I’m just now getting my security+ but i just don’t know what else to do
Hey girl, you are on a great path. I would look into getting a government contract position!! Symone Beez on TH-cam or TikTok is great person to watch for this! Good luck on your journey queen❤️
Can you do a update on this how's it going are you still in it?
💯 👏🏽
I'm confused between physiotherapy and IT
Is CS better than IT? I'm really confused
Can i do IT if my math is weak?
Do you feel like this is something that someone who’s bad at math (like I’ve already failed a BASIC college math course & had to retake it) pursue IT? I excel in other curriculums but I cannot grasp math.
Yes, but it depends on your school. Some schools have IT as more of a business degree, and others have it more as a science-based degree. I only had to take precalculus and statistics in addition to basic math, so it all depends on what you think you can handle. I would also check your school curriculum.
hey girl, im interested in the course on udemy. is it Information Technology Essentials? for $11.99
How’s it going !?
What exact boot camp did you go to?
Me too. Im curious to know which bootcamp you started with on the site you linked.
You have an associate's or bachelor's?
