Learn more at cretech.com. As the summer months heat up, so does venture capital activity. The heatwave of venture funding continued in July 2019. Global investments in private real estate tech companies reached $1.97 billion, a 78 percent increase in venture capital funding since June '19. During the same period, total deal volume decreased by an estimated 19 percent, totaling 35 deals. However, a look back tells a much different picture. Year-to-year (July 2018 & July 2019), venture capital investments in real estate tech companies increased by 199 percent. Additionally, deal volume increased by nearly 3 percent, while median funding rounds increased by 77.5 percent.
