This is why I love small reaction channels. Yall actually listen to multiple good songs by a band instead of just the big name one or the current big thing to react to.
More periphery! Fav band. They are self produced by the way under their own record label, and record most of the music out of their own homes. They have an incredible way of creating space within their music because they are each so incredibly talented with the production, let alone instrumentally. Reptile needs to be next. 14 mins will go by like 4 ;)
Imo this their 2nd best song The outro is really cool because it ends the way the album begins. It's part of a double album and it's a concept album so this is actually the end of the story. Listen to Habitual Line Stepper (yes, it is a Chappelles show reference lol). Their most underrated song.
Ok.. since Dallas likes drummers... I think you should listen to Erised.. and then since we are jumping on in on Periphery.. you should then do the Somewhere In Time Trilogy (Muramasa, Ragnarok, Masamune).. I think you might like that.. the fans would as well
This is my favorite song by Periphery. Has been since I first got Juggernaut when it released. Amazing dual album and was essential for my mind at that time. Honestly though, for a Periphery reaction you need to do Satellites. One of the most impressive vocal performances that Spencer has ever done. He hits notes that not many men can.
I consider this song the best demonstration of Periphery's general sound I consider Reptile to be the best "ok holy shit this band is incredible" option
I mean the song is awesome by itself. But what makes it really next level is the motifs it harkesn back to. Namely psychosphere. A lot of little cross sections of this song can be musically traced back to other songs on the albums it's connected to. They took this one musical idea and tried and successfully to mix it up and shuffle it around to be its own musical idea song by song, idea by idea. There are tons of musicians and bands who have done that kinda thing, but none of them have done it in a way that is so pleasing to the ears to me, as periphery.
You ladies definitely need to check out "Catch fire", showcases more of Spencer's poppier style. Would also love to see a reaction to "Wildfire" or "Blood eagle" just to see the shocked looks 😂
These two will fall in love with periphery the way the news goes or satellites. But if you guys react to the way the news goes watch the music video so you can put faces on what your hearing and how great they are
One if my faves & yes that falsetto bit at the start is really cool for a dject metalcore type song. Have you guys heard Reptile 🦎? I listen to this song every morning. Gets me up & about for the day ahead. 15 minutes of beauty!!
I just heard this song for the first time the other day. Was trying to find songs i could learn on my 8 string guitar and came across this. Its gonna be a fun one to play.
I really highly recommend Lune from these guys. Song gives me goosebumps every time and I think it strongly highlights the stuff you guys like about this band. As for the ending of this song, this was just the last track on the album so they went out with a little fun. Absolutely love this band.
Once again, Periphery is my all time favorite band. So happy you guys reacted to this one. Their song Make Total Destroy was probably the first song that got me interested in them. This song in particular was my 2nd song from them and it solidified the love I've got for their music and talent that has only grown over the years. I'm so happy you guys are enjoying them and I look forward to more!
Scrolling through reaction videos and found you through the Attack Attack video. Y'all are a trip and I enjoy you two. I see you listen to a lot of metalcore and even delve into hiphop every now and then. I suggest you check out Venom by nothing, nowhere featuring Underoath. I think yall will enjoy it. Keep it up! Peace!
So this album is a part of a duo-type concept album that tells a story song to song. And the transitions between the songs are chefs kiss. And I knew you gals would like them 😊clearly they’re my favorite. Sure I’ll request some more :3 there are so many to choose from 😂 and yea, some songs are REALLY heavy but Idk if i’ll get to those 😅
@@pandoratypography idk if I said the right word (duo) is what I meant lmao tbh i dont even know the story they told through and through because I’m too lazy 😂 ik the gist of it
The vocalist is an alien. I’m convinced Spencer is from another planet.

Their song Satellites might be up your alley too.
Satellites is beautiful

I agree with the comments made here already. Satellites is a must listen song from Periphery.

Such a good song. It will always be one of my favorites. Periphery has so many diverse songs, definitely hope to see more!

Periphery may be the most talented band on the planet.
This album is sooooooo good, same with the sister album, amazing vocals and instrumentals

Saying “I think” about a periphery album with a periphery profile photo is diabolical

That song is a banger! Instant repeater.
Seriously! U gotta check “lune” from periphery. It’s their most beautiful song in my opinion.
Now do periphery absolomb, the bad thing, and flatline.
I donated for Absolomb and The Bad Thing. Probably wont see those for a while since they are bombarded with requests, but I’m patient
