No kidding about another level to your videos. The footage was stunning and the flying spectacular as usual but rarely do you find a video on YT where the commentary is as enjoyable if not more so. I enjoy all your videos but this one was special. Artful. Thank you
@@FlyWithGreg Do you fly the Nova Ion light 7 here ? I love the wing and want to buy it - or are there any similar wings i should look into? Cheers and thanks for the awesome video!
Brilliant commentry Greg, ever thought of adding commedian to your CV? Oh and the flying and sceanery where amazing too. Lets have some more like that!
Such a departure from your regular content, love the satire that unfortunately only few will get! Never flew Lions Head, I gravitated towards the Map of Africa back in the days when the glider came with me aboard SAA, but I swear I can see myself hiking up India Venster on one of your shots... ;-)
Your sarcasm is pretty spot-on! I've hiked Lion's Head twice, but paragliding there was never on my radar! I may need to learn how to paraglide (I paramotor, but paragliding is a fully different beast!) and then head back to Cape Town!
I’ve lived there for six months in 2011 and my last trip was Oct’22. I climbed Lion’s Head several times, table mountain once. I love paragliding and got lucky enough to fly at PE. This video made me so happy. All those memories. Your comments are funny too 😂
I am an Australian pilot hoping to come to SA in Feb but I am concerned about the power outages and the increased crime problems Are those problems manageable? such a pity South Africa is an awesome country.
Yes I did come to SA in Feb, 10 days in cape town and surrounds and 12 days in wilderness. My second solo flying trip there, had a great time no issues. The local pilots were awesome.
Greg seems to know us like he knows the sky we seek. Our every breath is a leap of faith, our every leap, a breath of life. Fly With Greg is an amazing interesting and informative group of pilots. You can join & learn of the sky. Maybe it is for you!
I've been dreaming of flying in Cape Town since I started paragliding years ago. When's the best time to do some relaxing, non-aggressive/non-crazy-thermic flying there? (I fly to relax, and not to break records :) ) Thanks in advance!

thanks Ramon, to be honest, I had a laugh with this one!

@flywithgreg this video is a hoot. Loved the commentary
The commentary is a 12/10. I went back to the video description and double checked that it wasn't uploaded on April 1st :D
Nice Greg, really enjoyed that. I was a branch manager once - what a mission to recover my wing.

Beautifully captured....I used to soar there a great deal in the early 90's....but on a hang glider. Thanks for the memories!👍😎👍

Best instructional video yet. I'm almost a P2 and training a bunch of P1s. I'll be sure to send them to this vid for more instruction!
Funny, AND just sublime! Excellent ambassador for the sport, peerless tutor.
Thanks Greg, I love your sense of humour!
Spot-on Greg this one is an all time gem…🙏
