Yes brother this is a bit confusing, there is one model in it dell g15 5530 (RGB 86whrs battery), and its SSD is also 1 TB. So maybe you did not purchase that model

First you have to understand that u can never upgrade LPDDR ram. There are models in HP which ram u can upgrade but these r not LPDDR
