All the jesmonite ac100 videos on youtube shows to wait for 30 mins before de-moulding why does this starter kit say 2 hrs. Is it different from other jesmonite ac100?

I just got my starter kit today and in the instructions it says to leave it for 30-40 min to set yet in your video you say minimum 2h…so which one is the best technic? Thank you

Hello, sorry about the confusion. Jesmonite coasters can set as quickly as 40 minutes, but we recommend leaving them for 2 hours to be 100% certain they have completely set.

Is the time to wait for them to set the same time for every type of product made with jesmonite? For instance if I were to make a tray would it still be as yen instructions say 40mins to wait? Do you need to take any jesmonite product out of silicone after 40mins but leave to dry on top of silicone tray for 24 hours then sand the next day?? Or can you sand after the 40mins?

We recommend leaving Jesmonite AC100 in the mould for two hours and leaving it to dry for 24-48 hours before sanding or sealing. Thanks😀

Yes. I use it and you have to shake air bubbles out.
