Coleraine scored a quick fire double early doors to put Dungannon Swifts to bed.
The Peaky Bannsiders had our first outing in a few weeks following a break and illness. It was nice to be back. Great catching up with the youngsters and adults alike.

Did Dungannon have anyone there to support them today? The crowd we had at Glenavon last night was dreadful too. People claim the Irish League product is great but it looks like those travelling to buy the product is vastly decreasing and the reliance on the bigger clubs to travel well is becoming more and more evident, especially for the smaller clubs. Some travelling attendances are abysmal and that's from the majority of clubs. Larne are home to Newry next Saturday at 3pm and I'd comfortably predict that the place will be like a ghost town in both the home and away ends. Something has to change but I'm not sure what because let's face it, Dungannon and other clubs won't just magic fans out of thin air.

People say that cause it’s coming up to Christmas that crowds are down.
I dunno. Anyway, hopefully things pick up again.

@@ThePeakys I understand that people are struggling for disposable income but in my opinion, the excuse of "a cold winter night in the lead up to Christmas" is a joke and a cop out. You either support the team or you are a plastic fan with that excuse, which, Larne most certainly have plenty of plastics and that's coming from a Larne fan. Anything beyond the travel time of Belfast and Larne struggle. I understand folk need to work and getting to a game on a Friday night isn't ideal but the attendance was poor. Fourteen up from Dungannon is a joke and I mentioned the travelling Larne crowd last night but Kenny Bruce won't give a shit if nobody goes to watch Larne away from home, as long as they turn up at Inver for the home games as bums on seats equals revenue.
