@@thechosenone9943i don't think so. Anyways Toby and Stu remain to be the basis of Jamiroquai's sound and style. Oh, forgot about energy. Well energy is still fires from modern band. But we got old and miss for an old band.

I really like this, man. I'm in tears right now! Good times of the pure and true ACID JAZZ. God save the eternal KING OF BASS! Hugs from this Brazilian fan!
Stu.Z was and will remain the DNA of the group. Personally Jamiroquai has evolved very badly since the early 2000s and continues to be so. Less and less Acid Jazz and more and more commercial. I wanted so much to listen to this excellent "Scam" version with better sound quality. Is it possible one day ?? Thanks !
Can’t disagree, basically u have two parts or eras of Jamiroquai ,u have the acid jazz horns & flute analog sounding Jamiroquai with the original line up complete with stu & u have the disco commercial incarnation of later years with the line up changes,I know which era I prefer!! 👊🏿
Good luck in finding such, some Jazzrock/Fusion/Progressive Rock tracks are kind of similar but not as much as I would like. This exact style of music seems to be kinda unique.
3:55 the flute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the bass for shure,i’m in tears idk why but this is what i ever wanted to ear in a song of Jamiroquai Btw i bought a Warwick SS2 5 strings because of you Stu ! Lol
That flute is beyond lovely! If you go listen to the live MTV version of Bjork's Come To Me (1993), that song makes me wish Bjork and Jamiroquai had a collaboration back in the day...mmmm
+Bety Garcia still listening so far as i am typing ,, great horn section & keyboards " Chris Francis Bass "got me into doing a jam of this joint ,, check it out , it seems the Undisputed Truth & Bootsy vamps in the final mix sounds like an after thought compared to the above studio demo , The Demo sounds smooth with space & room , tho would argue the opening few bars are slightly vague perhaps too mysterious really liking the flute riffs ,,
Bean9seventy, after your comment I listened to Bootsy Collins, I didn't know about him before you mentioned. You are so right! My favorite was "Whats the name of this town?" This bass is amazing! And the Undisputed Trouth's Method to the madness... wooow! I can tell, i.m.o. bass is really the soul and spirit of Jamiroquai. My man Derrick McKenzie killed it as usual! What a beautiful mini drum solo he had going on at the end there! He is, and will always be, the heartbeat of Jamiroquai.

Jay Kay and Jamiroquai's music has elevated to a much higher level without any doubt. More mature, appreciated by many.❤😊
I too prefer the earlier stuff, but how is it now more "mature"? Always puzzled by what mature music is, to my mind usually dull.
