Lovely collection and 😢 yet, tragic. The actors are so beautiful and believable in their roles, the passion is still so strong Sam Neill is actually one of handsomest actors of that time. I’m glad he became such a big star in the Jurassic Park movies and yet also has made so many other really excellent films.
Guilbert... He's the real Man of all men. He knew Rebecca, whom he really really loves will be burnt to death if he wins. At the last moment of the duel, he shows his chest to be stabbed by Ivanhoe....
I haven't seen this version of the movie. I've seen the 1952 version. Looks like this was well cast with Sam Neill playing the role George Sanders covered.. As the song goes, "If you covered him with ashes, George Sanders would still have style."
Brian de Bois-Guilbert was my first real crush! Now, more than 40 years later, he makes me feel like a little girl again! Be still my heart! 😍💓

Ah the dinosaur man. I remember seeing this very good adaptation of ivanhoe.
Sad that he died.
Yes, his character died in the book and in the movie. In reality this actor, Sam Neill, is still alive and kicking! They both are to my knowledge.
A classic. Thank you for a lovely video of them.
Una de las frienzoneadas mas grandes de la literatura la de Rebecca a Brian.
This is so beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to make this
Really beautiful! I like the feeling of your video, the music and the vibe ❤

Indeed.... It's a pity the story ends that way. Performance of Sam Neil always recurs to me.
Sam Neill omg so hot ❤

I thought that Anthony Andrews looked a lot more like book-Ivanhoe than Robert Taylor. Sam Neill is great in any role he plays.
I love the book but hate the 52 version ... 97 and this one are the best by far.
