    Hi there, my name is Precious Hanah and welcome to my internet diary. In 2017 I moved to Ghana from the UK and have been navigating life here in the motherland and loving it! I love culture, dance and travel. I'm currently finishing my MPHIL in Dance Ethnography, at the University of Ghana, researching Afrobeats and Afro Dance. Please stick around and enjoy this journey with me.
    Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. - Psalms 119:105

    I am here. The first two years was HELL. Now things are coming together nicely. Stability is welcoming me. All I need is here. Took loads of planning and flexibility. I needed the SUN. I needed the BEACHES. I needed SPACE. I have all three with fresh fruits and veggies..... planning planning and planning along with REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

    Remembering your whys is so important. The truth is, that to be successful in anything...Work has to be put in, and that in itself can be a rat race...the secret is finding what you love to do, and that will not feel like a rat race wherever you are. I think the difference of doing so in Ghana, if you're a Ghanian or of any african background is that the connection to your roots is so impactful and can make a difference in your outcomes and just overall desire in doing things.

    I've been in Ghana for over a year and its a journey and process for sure.
    You mentioned knowing your why. Its true. Getting clear on the why, and consistently walking in that direction definitely gives grounding to the whole experience.

    Hey Precious. When choosing where to study, how did you go about it? Did you ask past students for feedback? Do potential students have a way to check online course reviews? Because as I mentioned in a previous post, I'm hitting a wall. Many thanks.

    I’d like to see a video about your “rat race” in Ghana, and for your Q&A - what are some of the reasons people shouldn’t move to Ghana in your opinion? Have/would you ever consider moving back to the UK or visiting for a long period of time? How do you go about meeting new people in Ghana?

    • @PreciousHanah

    Would defitnetly love to hear about your rat race...For the Q&A: how can you start making connections once you move back, any tips on how to find and build trustworthy connections with people?
    Also I wanted to share these scriptures with you when you started talking about your self doubts;
    -Proverbs 4:12 (NKJV)
    -Proverbs 3:5-6 (GNTD) 'never rely on what you think you know' - that's how you can see those self doubts and when you're down talking yourself. Because they are not true, the more you walk in your purpose the more your believe in it will be tested..Just trust God and yourself!
    -Proverbs 1:33 (GNTD)
    -Matthew 6:27 (NKJV) focus indeed on your why!
    -Isaiah 41:10 He's always there, He'll keep on opening the doors and blessings when it's time!

    Thanks a lot for your videos.
    I have some questions.
    What’s the maximum amount you can withdraw from ATMs? Can you withdraw in dollars or does it have to be in the local currency?

    • @PreciousHanah
      @PreciousHanah  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much for watching 😊
      The maximum amount depends on your bank. When you withdraw you’ll get the cedi equivalent but also depends on the rate that the ATM gives. I hope that helps 😊
