Brian, how proud are you of your older brother? Everything he has overcome and his courage to answer the call to become a priest (and exorcist priest). I watch everything that Fr. Dan has on youtube ... truly a great man. I'm sure he is very proud of you as well.
Your Brother is right about Psalms 91 Father! It's so all encompassing 🙏 Loved the pic ❤ THANK you Both for being such a Blessing to everyone in the CHAT 😊
Together we are battle ready! Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil! Amen I say to you all! Thank you Brian, thank you Fr. Reehil, and God bless you both 🤍✝️🕊️
❤ to Fr. Dan and Brian for helping to get us battle ready! I told Jesus I know he's already planned what he's going to do with me. If he takes me, then have the angels take with them whatever is necessary for others survival who haven't planned as well. I won't be needing any of it. I've already lost all my possessions twice in this life so a third won't mean anything to me! Praised be the Lord!
Thank you for these talks, listening with my bible and pen handy, always finish these talks filled with peace, God’s word is awesome. Liked the Psalm91 reference. Facing a few challenges in my spiritual life, my own flaws / weaknesses rising to surface in interactions with close family, neighbours etc…being a sensitive/overthinking type it’s a challenge to default to turning to God first and not letting the enemy get a foothold. Accepting in humility that I will not always be liked or accepted for my beliefs which cut to the core of my being. I feel like I have to be so careful what I say and how - especially around relatives and family! Taking inspiration in Saint John Vianney’s life. Humility isn’t an easy thing for me ! Thank God for community - recently joined a small prayer group here in Budapest which is like a safe space, daily masses and sacraments also a priority. Doing the consecration to Mary again. If there is any of the above you could speak to in future will listen out for it. God bless you Father and Brian.
Thank you so much for starting this channel, Father Dan. I'm not Catholic (yet) but very drawn to conversion and have been for some time. I was drawn to the nuns as a small child and on declaring this at the age of 5 my mother decided that I was never going to Sunday School again! I only went a few times🙄. I later chose to be christened as an adult (having never been christened as a baby) in the High Anglican church in Oxford, UK. I'm an Englishwoman, now living and working in Australia, and I try to tune in most days now to listen to you and find whatever you're discussing very enlightening and helpful. I refer back to the bible to read the scriptures when you discuss them, so I can meditate on them. This kind of supportive instruction was sorely lacking in the UK in school and elsewhere when I was growing up so called COE around the same time as yourself - which is partly I think why the West has such problems now because we don't know the roots of Christian faith and its values in our own cultures, As a result we inevitably defend it poorly. You need to know the Scriptures to argue them appropriately, as Brian pointed out, and consistent connection is brilliant for our spiritual and mental health. Anyway, your podcasts are making a huge difference to my day. Informative, uplifting and helping with getting into a routine. What you taught Catholic kids is also helping adults who didn't get the benefit of such instruction. I also love and chuckle at your nononsense approach. So, thank you
Father Rehill I sincerely get a lot of true knowledge from your speech. I want to thank you for drawing us closer to God. The Epiphany is a blessed holy day for our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Love Brian's point about thinking on different levels -- yes, we can prepare and focus on the natural level to some extent. But, this is fundamentally a spiritual war we are in (not just a battle, but actually a war now)...and if we STAY at the natural level, we're gonna be deceived pretty readily...and even if we last physically, we will become burned out emotionally and psychologically. Good discussion. Thanks, guys! God bless!
Father, your parish is at least 90 minutes away from me but I hope to get over there for Mass at least once. (I'm a parishioner at one of the TLM parishes in the diocese.) In antiquity, the term "serpent" was sometimes synonymous with the term "dragon", especially in Mediterranean and Atlantic cultures. I've heard Dr. Scott Hahn and some other Catholic theologians suggest that the serpent that tempted Eve might've been dragon-like in form and intimidated Adam into eating the forbidden fruit with its sheer presence.
To Father Dan's point, the way we get through this coming period (of tribulation, IMHO) is...detachment. We have to prepare based on the duties of our state in life, but mainly focus on God so that we are detached from the physical and worldly (and even human) things. ... If we don't, when things get hard on a natural level, we're going to cave in to whatever demands are placed on us, and we are at risk of betraying Our Lord. The latter is the outcome we must avoid no matter what. God bless.
Father Dan please pray 🙏 for parents and siblings to come back to the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church ⛪️ and for us to receive the sacraments and the grace of final penitence aka grace of a holy death. 🙏⛪️✝️
Physical prepping only helps in certain situations, look at Hurricane Helene with entire houses floating down the river (with the cash, food, tp in them probably) there is no amount of physical prepping those people could have done to mitigate that disaster. SPIRITUAL PREPPING is the only answer (and as faithful Catholics we should also not be afraid of death).
It’s all so simple, our humanity overcomplicates things, God gives us the signs,as with with the Magi, which lead to Jesus, all we have to do is See them,
God Bless you - I have a 12 pound weighted vest and ankle weights and I stay on my feet most of the day - taking care of a toddler - and I have a dog - I am ordering 5 pound anke weights because the 3 pound are now light - it helps get you fit and burn calories - also good for bone density - I don't always wear the vest - that's a bit much
FAST on BReAD and WATER and Keep PRAYING the ROSARY 🌹 that's the Answer And Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm every day🙏🌍🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹✨Go to sit with Our Lord Jesus Christ ♥️ in the TABERNACLE ♥️ Go to CONFESSOR and Mass Rita England 🙏
Keep watching exorcists interviews and podcasts. The way they explain it is that demons (fallen/unholy angels) influence us through emotion and putting thoughts in our heads. Our holy guardian angels do the same to protect and guide us.
I've always wondered, if the 3 kings knew that Christ was born based off astrology, what does that mean about the use of astrology? I thought that was part of occult knowledge, forbidden by God. Could we then read certain things in the stars now? Or did God just use the wise men's intrusion on that forbidden knowledge, to fulfill His Will?
I was thinking about that too. It has to have something to do with God, being the creator of all universe, having authority over the stars. I'm thinking it was to show the natural desire for all people to search for God. But I'm no scholar.
@StAnthonyofPadua2025 pretty sure Fr. Dan used the word astrology. And wouldn't it be? Because astronomy has to do with the stars and how they are ordered in the universe, but astrology is interpretation of stars, and their divine significance (hence, why they knew Christ has arrived). But that's why it's confusing to me, since they got divine knowledge, from reading the stars...
Giving us signs and wonders through nature is all throughout the Bible. When the Catholic church condemns astrology it is modern astrology with "star signs", "horoscopes" "future telling" etc. because we should only look to God. Back then for a new star to appear these wise men knew it was something monumental. Actually, about ten years ago the "Star of Bethlehem" appeared in the sky again (which was a convergence of several stars just like 2000 years ago). I saw it when it happened and wondered what the heck it was! Then many articles came out about the occurrence so people thought it meant that Christ must be returning soon. It has to mean something. Ten years is nothing is God's time and I think it was a signal to us to get ready.
I heard from a priest that the wise men represent the fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah 60:3-11. It is an epiphany or manifestation of God to the whole world (not just the Hebrews). The wise men came along a road (representing paganism), looking for the king (who is Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life). After finding Jesus, the wise men changed their path and did not return by the way they had come... but took a new one. This symbolizes that they left their pagan way and took a new path, since Jesus is not only for the salvation of the Jewish people, but for the salvation of the world.
@22:10 Stop blaming on women!!!. I think it's because Adam had no trust in the woman (Eve), instead of repeating what God told him, he exaggerated it. Eve only repeats what she heard from Adam. 😂😅
There’s no point in a blame game after the fall, they both ate the fruit when they knew not to so they’re equally guilty. The result affected men and women differently though each with different fallen tendencies
Off topic, but I’m curious about Brian’s tattoo. My son has a tattoo that runs from his shoulder to the elbow .. it is John 3:16. The rest of his arm is also biblical “stuff,” like the 10 Commandments, Sacred Heart with Jesus underneath, Golgotha, with the 3 crosses and a darkened sky, then his hand has Mama Mary with a rosary, a white dove .. that’s all I can remember right now. It (his arm) gets a lot of attention! Most just look, but sometimes they ask what it all means. 🩵🕊️

My father had me pray that when I was in high school. I still love it

Brian, where did you get the tabs for the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible??
My Bible douhy rehms 1961 shows Psalm 90
Copy right 1941
Are demons responsible for people committing suicide? Can demons influence young children to do those kinds of things?
Keep watching exorcists interviews and podcasts. The way they explain it is that demons (fallen/unholy angels) influence us through emotion and putting thoughts in our heads. Our holy guardian angels do the same to protect and guide us.
Demons can and do talk to children and harass them.
Brian
How can I obtain a copy of the new catholic bible you display on this episode
How do we get the Battle Ready shirt ?!

Does anyone know how I can purchase a Battle Ready T-shirt?
Where is the best place to purchase a bible? I've never owned one. Thank you for posting this video. I first saw you on the Shawn Ryan show 😊🙏
Accesión they have a lot of good bibles , I have the one from the Bible in a year ! Is the closest version to the original Hebrew and Greek .
@godislove355 Thank you so much!
Is it awkward calling your brother Father? Can you call him by his first name when no one is around?
