great video, finally one without the "diff" assembled already, so we can see it; PS there isn't a lot around about repairing them, as opposed to standard bikes, aka park tool TH-cam channel, where every part/tool is gone through in immense detail; are they the same?, but perhaps a good topic for a series of videos (esp. adapting bike repair techniques for trike users {elderly and possibly disabled users}, as due to our 'issues' we haven't ridden anything else before, so don't know what a 'problem' feels like 'on the road').
thank you for your comments, they are appreciated and taken on board. We are in the process of doing more repair videos but we just don't get many repairs any more. The tricycles themselves are really reliable and just keep going but it is something we will do now we have set up a permanent camera in the workshop.
Unfortunately we have had some through our business and I'm trying to be polite by saying they are probably one of the worst tricycles ever made. I hate to be negative about other designs and manufacturers but some are outright dangerous and the build quality is unsafe. If you have any specific questions then I am happy to answer so please drop me an email directly through this channel. Thank you Michael
Hello Luke, thank you for reaching out. All tricycles should have a brake on the front and rear wheels. This particular model has a brake on the front wheel and also the rear axle so it effectively has 2 brakes but some of our newer tricycles have a brake on all 3 wheels
love the "caterpillar dozer " reference, I get the pun, as its painted yellow too 🙂
