That's an unfortunately too simple answer to a very complex question that may yield very bad results or great results, but definitely ends in you spending about $1,000. You should watch all of Luke's arsenal building videos if you haven't. They are the best. When I was new to ball reactions my best ball purchases have been from watching other guys in my league with a similar throw and seeing what types of balls perform best on the pattern and location I'm bowling on. You could need a bunch of asymmetric tanky balls at your alley but go visit your cousin and bowl on his lanes and find out that they are all too much ball and don't work at all. Start simple with a few balls that do different things and use them appropriately. Then spend a bit more and fill up an arsenal.
@@angrybadger4236 I’ve watched most of all Luke’s video and his last arsenal was: Infinite Dark Code RST X2 Idol Cosmos Hyroad Mo Pinel told me about having 3 asyms with 2 pin up and 1 pin down and have 2 syms.
@@garlandoverton727 ok. Good luck to you. But 3 assyms in a certain drilling isn't really useful advice unless they specified what shape and traction you want. Example: a UC2 and a Proton physix have more differences on the lane than a proton physix and an idol Helios, Which is an asym and a sym. But Mo is the best so go with that. The statement just sounded like a new bowler so I was hoping to help you avoid some expensive mistakes I've experienced.
Really enjoy your bowling ball videos. Been a follower for some time now. Your critique is usually spot on. And with you and other bowler showing different styles is great. Of the new balls out in last year, what would you say is a good start out on fresh conditions? Keep up the good work !
It really depends on the conditions and your game, there's just too many variables to really offer a suggestion. Depending on the conditions, I've started out on the fresh with virtually every ball in the catalog over the last year.
Looking to add first asymmetrical to be a ball or so above a Phaze 2. I throw it similar to Angel though a bit more up the back. She makes both the Infinite and Nova look great. Would love to have both, but I'll have to settle for one at this time. Any thoughts on which might be the better option? Thanks!
She uses the Nova quite a bit, and while both will likely be good for you, you'll likely use the Nova more than the Infinite. However, the Infinite would be more different from the Phaze 2 than the Nova, and it's surprisingly usable too, especially once it gets some shine on it. I know that doesn't make the decision easier, BUT I don't think there's a bad decision to be made, she likes them both quite a bit.
Oh no, they're both really strong balls, they just shape differently so they don't overlap very much. Both are very much fresh condition balls, but it depends on whether you need more control or more shape
I liked the setup that Luke has, I was told with me being a speed and rev match bowler I need 3 asyms and 2 syms. Nice arsenal Luke

Purchased the Infinite Physix today, thanks for the ball review. Threw it for all four games in league tonight
Love the videos I’m getting ready for Junior gold in a week and the ball reviews helped me build my arsenal👍🏾
What a great review as always 👏👌
This video was so good. What has led you to more assymetric balls lately? I been feeling same way but not sure why lol.

What another great video can’t say it enough

@@LukeRosdahl Thanks for the info Luke!
Hi Luke! I notice your main arsenal are all pearl except the hyroad. Maybe the night road will fit in to complete the set lol.
Lol I'd expect it to, I think I'm going to like that one quite a bit
It’s hard for me to put the hyroad in my bag my allroad goes with me everywhere I go I feel like I don’t need them both
Do you think the infinite would fit in a bag with an rst x-1, x-2 and a parallax?
Eh, there's some overlap there, more with the X1 than anything else, but if you usually throw stronger stuff anyway, it'd fit.
@@LukeRosdahl I usually start with my parallax or x-1, then progress to either my axiom or x-2.
So the idol cosmos is good to pair with the infinite physix? I ordered the physixs today just want advide thanks
Yeah I think so, the Infinite is actually longer and quicker, and the Cosmos is earlier but a lot smoother.
@@LukeRosdahl so when can both be used? One for fresh other for dry?
Oh no, they're both really strong balls, they just shape differently so they don't overlap very much. Both are very much fresh condition balls, but it depends on whether you need more control or more shape
@@LukeRosdahl would one of them allow me to play more left as a right hander when it becomes dry?
Lol @ bottom heavy. Truer words have never been spoken. #buns
Lol I'm glad you caught that . .
The infinite physix smelled like a dum-dum to me
