    I've always wanted to start making digital art and I downloaded Krita many months ago. I am in a po t int in my life where I want to pursue the things I'm interested in before I regret not doing it. Watching this video and following your advice in my first step on this journey. Thanks guys.

    Don't forget to save your Workspace in case you want to switch to another and back! Click the Choose Workspace button in the top-right. Name your workspace in the Insert name field and hit Save.

    do you know how the workflow is using brushes? In photoshop I quickly resize and adjust the hardness of my brush. but in krita it seems like u have to make custom brush presets to achieve different hardness of the brush edge. so instead of doing it on the fly, u have to constantly switch brushes which is annoying. is this really how you have to work?

    Can I use Krita with a small/medium sized tablet and a drawing pen? Is that comfortable or does it make sense?

    Thank you guys! I prefer having my docks on the left side leaving the right feeling more free to hand draw. You guys explained everything so well. 🙌🏻❤️

      Yes! I have Krita on my touch screen tablet, and I was activating the dockers with my hand. Moving all the dockers over to the left side did the trick!

    I have a question, how can I get my colors and brushed to show up on the right? It used to be there but now it's gone. I do not do digital art so I have no clue how to use the app.

    • @mosscharmly
      @mosscharmly  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello justaturky2890 , we hope we can help , first thing is some times the dockers get hidden behind other dockers , so check behind they might be there or on the task bare on the top of the window or you're screen and select window to revel a dropdown menu and go to workspaces and select default and then go to settings on the task bar and go dow to Dockers and select Pallets . We hope this helps you out if you have any other questions just let us know.

    I saw someone pressing a key where the toolbars disappeared and the focus was fully on the canvas, and he could switch back at thew press of the key, i'm looking for that.

    • @bengi8907
      @bengi8907 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think if you press the tab button, you can fully focus on the canvas. I hope that helps.

      Yes, TAB for canvas-only mode, i found out already, thanks anyway!@@bengi8907

    What a nice video this is! I don't often see tutorials where two people are talking, especially in such a nice manner. :)
    Please keep an eye on the music you choose. With a more relaxed tune this whole experience could have get an even more familiar and cozy vibe.
    Either way, I really enjoyed this one. It is always nice to meet fellow Linux/Foss users.
    Take care and have a good one! :)

      Hello Philipp Sander. Thank you very much for your kind words. 😊 It's funny that you bring up the music. We were thinking about changing it up because it sounds a bit heavy in the techno. We plan to do some Linux centric videos especially with the Huion tablet . Thanks for watching. We appreciate it . Take care and have a good one too.😊

    Thank you for showing me Palette! I chose Swatch CMYK and it's what I have been looking for! I have slight color blindness, so the way it separates the green from the yellow is amazing! Now its less of a guessing game with what color I'm choosing! Maybe one day they will add little bars separating the colors on the color wheel, but for now this is great!

    Krita is finally on mobile Since I'm coming from Ibis paint It's kind of Intimidating because ibis paint has a very simplex design and you could really just hop into it. Since I planned ongoing, into art as a career I decided to try to try it out. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful!

      hi kofilef1797. We're so glad our video was helpful. Krita is a great program and we highly recommend it. Just like all of these programs they can take some time getting used to but they're worth it.

      Hello olivermewes1310. The workspace we were previously using was on Clip Studio Paint. We wanted to mimic that workspace in Krita. In Krita we started with BigPaint as our Workspace. We hope this helps you out.
