Yh, the interior are really nice in real view, much better than the video. It looks so luxury, never mind the haters , they can't afford this beautiful SUV.
I tried this car out as a rental, driving from texas to north dakota. Me and the family loved it, super spacious, everyone had plenty room, smooth ride, cruise control was so easy and smart, the luxurious features felt great. We loved being in this car ❤
Everyone always complains about how huge this thing is and how expensive it is. Lets talk about the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER.... $81,100....
And most Toyota dealerships don't even sell it.....

+Ax have to disagree. land cruiser and patrol are in the same league. qx80 is more comparable to lx570 for 20k less.

Dave I love you for this, very few channel has a full walk around of this vehicle, thanks. Oh and that button below the ADC control is the safety activation, pushing it turns on/off the Lane Departure, Collision Mitigation, Brake Assist and Active Blind Spot/Cross Traffic.
I'm always reminded me of a moose when I see these vehicles. Something about the front end.
QX80 is going on sale for the first time in Australia this year. Can't wait to see one in person. We don't have anything like this over here. They say it'll cost around 120 grand. :(
"Do not judge the book by it's cover", looks are subjective but Wow.. Bigger is better and that's why most Americans like Trucks, i think infiniti did great job made this huge powerfull car but handle very nice and nimble like smaller car.Size is one of QX80 strenght, inside very roomy, feels comfortable & luxury for Family trip. I think this car worth the money if we can afford it and enjoy it with our parents and kids, also including the engine noise & power that can make smile :) sound sweet.
Finally got to drive one of these today. These are indeed beasts.
I was quite surprised how much these haul when you step on them. I figured for how huge they were they would have the power of a Suburban or something, but even at 1/8 throttle these suckers go.
They don't drive as big as they look either. Handle quite well and the all-around cameras are a huge help when parking.
A Platinum Nissan Armada is just about the same vehicle for way less money. Same engine and chassis. Does not have Apple Car Play but you may be able to add this with a software upgrade.
1. When the hood is the only people can use to slight a vehicle, you know you've made something very strong in the market
2. For $80k, shouldn't it have a proximity keyfob that opens the door for you?

It’s ok but my brother has one and the thing has been at the shop more then at his house. I personally don’t care for the thing but my brother likes his. I’m glad I’m not forced to drive this thirsty gluten like my brother is with 5 kids. If I had to get one of these over sized money pits ,it wouldn’t be a Nissan / Datsun products.

The button you found on the third row seat is not to move that seat. It's the folding/unfolding button. Watching you discover car features as you film is really not something I'd pay $10 for. I can do that for free at any dealership.

Not sure why Infiniti or Nissan decided to get rid of the very convenient liftgate window opening, especially being a luxury vehicle. Toyota has it right with the power down feature. Great for ventilation especially with pets, to get more cargo loaded evenly especially when you don't want the whole liftgate from opening. Gm, Ford, Toyota, Lexus even old Nissan's have this feature on large suv's. But I'll digress.

I always enjoy your reviews until you start with..... (I am not sure what that is). What is the point? Many are looking for informative accurate reviews. Not just a hey look at all these cool gadgets. Not sure what they do or how many they are, but they sure are luxurious. Read up a bit before reviewing them. This makes your reviews more credible Dave. You are an awesome speaker and you flow well, but when there is lack of knowledge this just second rates what you are trying to do ........IMO. Your videos that are well rehearsed and accurate are an awesome resource for the serious car buyers out there.

It's okay, I'm not sure I like the front end on it. Like most of these SUV's that 3rd row just seems it's only good for children or small teens. I also, don't dig the retracting seats via a push button you have to hold down, been better if one-touch.

I can think of better ways to drop 80K. This is just way too dated for me. I kind of liked it when the model first came out. I rarely see these things on the road.
I think this infiniti is far from luxury. We rented one to help people move. The seats are painful. After four hours of driving, your butt is sore. There is hardly any feet room. If you are taking seven people, you have no room to put luggage. The music doesn't play in the whole car, you can either set in the front, middle or back. Basically, for the price, it is not worth it.

+Everyman Driver just rented one in Colorado and drove to South Dakota and then Wyoming and going 85 for 100's of miles we averaged 19.8 with 85 octane. You can run that and it just detunes the motor by taking out timing. That is amazing in my opinion for something that is this big and gorgeous

My cousin simply *had* to have this for her girls, and she wanted a 7-passenger (third row) vehicle. She could also afford the Range Rover, and my Step-dad *sells* Range Rovers (and Jaguars) and could have *hooked* her up. I can't imagine choosing this _hideous_ vehicle over a brand new Range Rover! I will admit that this car is very luxurious, and the inside is fine. But the exterior can't even compare to the style of a RR, nor does the Infiniti carry even _close_ to the prestige.

+brucenash It's not based on the "legendary" patrol you are thinking of. Yes, other markets get the Patrol, but it's exactly like this behemoth. The Patrol which became a legend was that of the 87-97. Those things were beasts! The 97-10 weren't bad, but made a little softer. The new ones are overweight and the 4wd systems are unsofisticated (open differentials and passive traction control).

A neighbor has one and I almost regurgitate onsight. Sorry, vehicles are like women, if they aren't beautiful on the outside, who cares about the inside.
