I think DIzzy was thinking of Babymetal when he said he saw them on Kimmel - I believe they both opened up for GNR and Bandmaid has not been on Kimmel or any other latenight talk show in the US - BUT THEY SHOULD BE : )

The November 2022 GNR shows at Saitama arena had Loudness on the 5th, and Granrodeo and Band-Maid on the 6th, so he's thinking of several years ago when Babymetal opened for them and were on Stephen Colbert. As an aside: Remember when Saturday Night Live put on lesser-known but groundbreaking bands? Yeah, it's been awhile.
At the start of Dice I bet Dizzy was thinking "Hey, that's our sound..." His eyes lit up with Misa's bass solo :)
I would show any new person to this band Play official live video, that intro alone sold me on this band when I first heard it
The same happened to me when I discovered them around 2017. After a long time receiving TH-cam recommendations for Thrill, I gave up and clicked on the thumbnail. I thought "Wow, they sound nice. Let's try a live video" and push on Play.... 🤯🤯🤯 Maidiac for life!!
I'm diggin' this format of bringing Rock legends in to watch Band-Maid....keep to Going!

Saw them in Dallas, amazing live performers. They definitely love what they do. And love their fans.
Dizzy rolled the DICE and got lucky with a 2 for 1 performance. Nice!

Band-Maid. The only band that kept us music fans happy by making these streamed gigs throughout the plague years. And new songs, MV's, albums, alternate personas like Cluppo, acoustic gigs...unlike every other band I can name. Hard working Rock goddesses.

I'm a big fan of Band-Maid and their music, but Baroness, Battle Beast, Bleed from Within, Clutch, Devin Townsend, Katatonia, Lords of Trident, Lovebites, Mr. Bungle, Nightwish, Spiritbox, The Warning, and Unleash the Archers are a baker's dozen worth of groups I know of off the top of my head that streamed performances and shows and released material during the pandemic.
The Warning did lives from the Cave (their basement). They participated in a benefit concert of several bands online. That is where Lizzy Hale found them. They also recorded "error" in NJ. During the pandemic.

These versions of "Dice" & "Different" were from an on line Okyuji without any crowd. No wonder the lighting nearly gave him a seizure. Why do you think his name is "Dizzy".😏

Next LoveBites "Stand & Deliver" & "Judgment Day!!" Love BandMaid and it's worth noting they aren't just a one hit pony either. They are just as at home with "Memorable."
As they are with "From Now On" "Onset!" Or Domination!! This band deserves a Arena tour and far more recognition then they current have!! Love these reactions here lately!! :)

I would have enjoyed seeing Mr. Reed's reaction to some of Band-Maid's set in Saitama opening for GnR, but there's not much good footage of it on TH-cam.
Dice is the groove song. Different is the song that beats you like a red-headed stepchild.
DICE is my favorite BAND-MAID song and that is a difficult thing to state. So many songs are tied for 2nd and 3rd it's not even funny. But DICE wow, such a great song on so many layers. love it.
@@michaelmunno DICE is also my favorite but I have yet to see a live version that comes close. The studio version just is fuller with sound
They opened for them last November the 6th I think so he should have been aware of just how good they are also mv is better

Kinda wish the sound on the video you watched was a little better. Sounds washed out but this is an older song from them but still straight up rock and great. It's a sound a lot of us miss over here so we found it in Japan!

I know I'm a bit late to this party but as far as I know Band-Maid has never been on any late night TV show in the US. Dizzy is dizzy about this.

The lighting was definitely weird for that live show. I'm not sure it was intentional.
I think it is a weird effect of the strobe lights with either the shutterspeed of the camera or the stream refreshrate.
@@MaartenT Yeah it was the framerate of the camera clashing with a strobe. The camera guys need to talk to the lighting guys!

Yes maybe you should check out the rabbit holes. Marko has at least five. Floor has a few as well as emppu and Touomas without his wife.
The other official live version of Dice where Misa plays her black 5 string bass is much better. Not that this is bad in any way.
Maybe focus on individuals Rather then every version of the songs
