The Lion King (1994), Toy Story 1 (1996), Aladdin (1993), and Tarzan (1999) were the Disney movies I watched the most when I was a kid. While they are no longer my favorites they still hold incredibly well.
Not gonna lie League of Their Own (1993) and Tarzan (1999) are the only movies I like Rosie O’Donnell in.
I noticed a lot of similarities between this and the Disney live action remake of The Jungle Book from 1994.
Mowgli = Tarzan.
Kitty = Jane.
William Boone = Clayton.
Kitty’s Father + Dr. Plumford = Jane’s Father.
Bagherra = Kala.
Baloo + Shere Khan = Kerchak.
Mowgli’s Elephant Friend = Tantor.
King Louie = Terk.
Shere Khan + Kaaa = Sabor.
Mowgli’s Dad Eaten By A Tiger = Tarzan’s Parents Eaten By A Leopard.
Mowgli’s Dad Briefly Fighting Shere Khan + Mowgli’s Fight With Kaa = Tarzan’s Fight With Sabor.
Boone Shoots Baloo = Clayton shoots Kerchak.
Plumford & Kitty Teach Mowgli English = Jane’s Father & Jane Teach Tarzan English.
