Hello. Just watched all your videos on the F-17. I just bought a 1973 D18. Driving it home this coming Tuesday. Firstly, thanks for the videos, I enjoyed them and they gave me inspiration as mine is, like yours was, a tad rough. I like how good the engine sounds and how bright the back dinette area is on the inside. You certainly did a lot of work. Secondly, how is she now? You haven't posted anything about it in a while.
Hey thanks! Congratz on your purchase! Shes good still! Roof was leaking pretty bad but I ordered a small coil of aluminum roofing and am going to be restoring to roof this summer/completely rebuilt the ceiling. We love this old thing so much. Brings us lots of joy. In fact we drive it to the grocery store occasionally and park in a normal park spot. Ill be making videos of the roof restoration.

Beautiful camper!! What kind of gas mileage do you get out of the 300CI? Also does yours have the 3 speed?
Should put a small chain on that rear fuel cap. Its going to go missing one day if you don't.
That W on the back is just begging to be changed to the Waylon "W"
Haha yes!
neat has 51'52 ford truck gauges nice camper kinda jealous here lol
I was always wondering what NOS those came from... That's good to know!
+mo1971fordcrew info from another ford guy to another ford guy
Thank you sir! It's neat how this thing has all kinds of random ford parts in it.
+mo1971fordcrew i think when she was built they used a lot of surplus parts.
