Well I guess it depends on what your def. of sound "black" means......I mean if we take it to back in the day when African-American artists were pretty much the first to sing with "soul" then you'll see that artists like Adele and Amy were of course inspired by them.....I mean you can't be a singer of that genre without some influence of the old sounds. I mean hell we can take back to how soul is inspired by southern gospel music
