I always felt that there was a understanding between us Brits and the Japanese...even if they were soured by events during the war. Both prosperous nations that achieved more than most thought possible and developed great cultures, pursuits in science and technology and similar personalities in a love for tea, the sea manners....and a neighbour we would drop everything for to just dunk on them. May the gods bless our two great islands. 🇬🇧🇯🇵
The “Great” British Empire now consists of a small chunk of Ireland and a few islands too unimportant to show up on a map and is now known internationally for bad food and getting stabbed
This was a very beautiful, and very flattering, rendition. I am honoured by your performance. As an Englishman, I was moved nearly to tears by it. 🥲 Thank you so much for your performance, and may the bond between our sister island kingdoms be forever strong! 😊 🇬🇧🇯🇵
Wonderfully done! I was well acquainted with your first version and this was a markedly great improvement. It's much more difficult to even tell that this was done in software. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it!
"In the golden days of Britannia, the land blossomed under a unified sky. Here, the essence of racial homogeneity shaped an Eden where every heartbeat resonated with the same ancestral rhythm. Like a meticulously crafted symphony, untouched by dissonant chords, each citizen's soul sang a harmonious melody, echoing centuries of shared history and unbroken tradition. Britannia’s fields glowed with the brilliance of a single, undying sun. Under this celestial beacon, shared customs and inherited values flourished like ancient oaks, their roots entwining in the fertile soil of a unified past. The air itself seemed imbued with an ineffable purity, a crisp clarity that mirrored the untainted waters flowing through its rivers-each stream a lifeline weaving together the tapestry of a common heritage. In this serene landscape, the spirits of ancestors danced through the ages, unfettered by the fragmentation of external influences. The language, a powerful symphony of familiar intonations, wove an unbreakable ribbon of continuity through generations, crafting a cultural mosaic resplendent in its singularity-every tile a testament to a shared journey. Gone were today's shadows cast by the mingling of divergent paths. In their place stood a luminous canopy of concord, the very air brimming with a fragrant blend of unity. This homogeneity was not mere uniformity, but a vibrant, cohesive identity where the heart of Britannia beat with a collective strength, rendering it impervious to the erasure of cultural decay. In the solemn embrace of this harmonious past, communal bonds tightened instead of unraveling. Each festival was a symphony of shared experiences, each tradition a vibrant brushstroke on the canvas of national identity. Without the cacophony of discordant cultures, the essence of Britannia shone brighter, a singular star in the firmament of British society, illuminating the path forward with the light of an undivided past." - Andrea Zanzotto
@@defennia Very groovy, friend! Most of mine (all on my dad's side) either came from England about 1660 because Charles II was crowned king or about 1738 from Northern Ireland because they were granted land there around 1653.

@redcatofdeath No disagreement to be had there. Far too many plastic faced Bliarites in politics these days, in bed with uncompetitive corperations & other agents of internationalist cronyism. Trends tend to come to an end eventually though, either via gradual change or abrupt collapse of the status quo 🤔 . I would certainly welcome a change in leadership that'd adopt an *Associated but not Absorbed* approach to general policy, and an actual strongman approach to strategic importance (re' national utilities & agrarian/industrial assets); a Switzerland 2.0 approach if you will 🙂 .
Very based, Really enjoyed this, it's amazing how well done it is. It also surprises me how far AI has come in recent years. I would like to suggest I Vow to Thee, My Country or Jerusalem the Anthem (the poem And did those feet in ancient time) please. Or maybe Oak, Ash and Thorn. It's definitely lesser known, but it's very good, one of my favourites. Although it might be less suitable than the other two.
