The last time VIXX came to Weekly Idol was on 2015 during Chained Up era.. some people might say they miss doni coni but just compare their 2015 episode and this one. Since the new mc hasn’t been that familiar with all idol or VIXX, they tend to pay attention to all of them. Back then Doni Coni only teased N and Leo. Even in 2014 one of their writer criticized Leo on Twitter for being shy and reserved while it was just the way he is. Every time they were on WI, it would be just bullying N or asking Leo if he’s mad or something. The other members rarely got a spotlight. So, as a Starlight, I really like this episode. Way more than the previous ones. If you are shock with how talkative or outgoing Leo in this episode, he’s been like that for the last 2 years. He’s been opening up and I think that’s a great progress. Chic Leo was cool and all but this goofy side of him is the best of all. Sorry for my long post 😅
Galuh Maharani umm the female MC is very familiar with Vixx. It's why I think Leo is so active in WI this time. She let Vixx be Vixx so everyone got camera time.

FINALLY, NEW HOSTS!!!. Us starlights, since chained up, didn't want vixx to come at all because of DoniConi. All they did was bully N, tease Leo and made him uncomfortable and ignore the others. I get that "the teasing is the funny part" but I dont want my boys to be uncomfortable. Here it looks like they are actually having a good time and the female host is very familiar with the members and starlights as well. She hosted many of their showcases and she *actually understands leo.* "He needs time to adjust in new situations so keep him engaged and dont stare at him because he is shy" SHE GETS HIM.

Sam Saad n and leo are cool with coni and doni teasing them. They are close backstage and if n and leo dont like how coni and doni treats them on the show, coni and doni would have immediately stopped. Past Leo was always "ignoring" others and stuff cuz that was him last time. Since dynamite he changed A LOT. So cant rly compare the eras before dynamite with the eras after dynamite. I feel that the atmosphere with doni and coni is much more familiar and warm. This atmosphere is slightly cold and awk cuz doni and coni were close to vixx. Now its prolly only shinyoung close to vixx but shes not as close to vixx as doni and coni :))

Try watching the whole episode. I've never seen them that comfortable and funny in WI and every single member actually had their moments and their personality were highlighted. Binnie, Hyuk, and Ravi weren't just side characters and for once, N wasn't bullied or made fun of for being confident about himself. Yeah, there were awkward moments but that's to be expected because they are new.

I don't know man. People might complain about the new MCs but I've talked to many Starlights and all of them agree with me that VIXX seemed so much more relaxed in this episode compared to the previous two. Maybe it's because of their own variety skill development, but still. I feel like the MCs are also a contributing factor on them being more comfortable in this episode.
I know what Doni Coni did in the previous episodes to Taek was well-meant. They want to encourage Taek to be more comfortable around camera because they probably knew how he is off camera. Both of them are close to all the members of VIXX after all. But hey did it in the wrong approach and instead of making him comfortable, they just embarrassed him to the end.
