    At 73, I did mine in a chair, it was fantastic. I think I over did it on my ears for they are burning LOL but still feels good. Thank you so much :)

    Thank you Don Fiore for this, what a refreshing way to start each morning! I also love the background music, please let me know the title because it's quite similar to the one I often listen to.

    Lovely short sequence.
    My (Yang style) Tai Chi teacher in the early 80s included several of these movements from Qigong as our warm up, and I've returned to them many times.
    More recently, several of my grandkids and I have benefited from EFT tapping, which also draw on Qigong!

      Hi Nadya, I had a little knowing smile while watching. I did EFT tapping, mainly for pain management and this brought back a whole lot of memories. :)

    Hi Don, I love your videos, thank you 🙏 what does the word “louhan “ mean?

    • @youtube-donfiore
      @youtube-donfiore  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I looked it up on Google search. In traditional Buddhist belief, the louhan is a disciple who has attained enlightenment through intense personal effort. - Glad you love our videos ;-)

    • @youtube-donfiore

      Some people do the exercises while sitting down. Try some standing and some sitting. Relax & breathe.

      @@youtube-donfiore I can share here on TH-cam:
      I train 1 hour every morning bcs I have artritis in my hips. First I do 10 min bicycle, then 10 min boxing ball training, then 10 min weights for arms plus rock and roll wheel. After that I do qigong.
      Qigong helps me to be balanced and strong in my entire body, mind and soul. I love your channel.

    Great short practice!!!, i have a quick question, can i shorten a longer practice ? for instance i love the many movements of the 20min but i usually don't have the time for the full 20min version is it counter productive to shorten practices in Qigong? Thanks again for paying attention to Seniors needs its seldom done these days :)

    Hi, Don, i want to know if Tai Chi and Qigong ( Chi gong) are different techniques or they are same? Please clarify.

    • @youtube-donfiore
      @youtube-donfiore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Qigong involves stretching & breathing. Traditional Tai Chi has more movement across the floor. I share a modified version of Tai Chi for seniors and people with challenges - so it looks more like Qigong.
