Dude, I can’t second this enough. Cove’s records changed music forever. These songs and cove definitely deserve a tour. I adore Anthony to, don’t get me wrong, but bring my boy back for a tour of his work.
I think fans could at the very least get a Saosin tour with Dead American so Cove can sing some of the songs he helped bring to fruition. That way his band gets attention and every Saosin fan can be satisfied
Listened to this song every day in high school. Let’s just say I’m 30 now and not much has changed! I write a lot of my songs in regards to what you guys have created man! Thanks for the timeless songs! Eric
My Saosin Self-titled story: It is mid December 2006. My friend Steele and I have just flown from our hometown in Australia and have arrived in Buckinghamshire, England for our very first holiday abroad. Because it is my first trip to the opposite side of the world I had never experienced jet lag before, and I happen to be struggling with it. I am waking around 4:30 every morning, and there is no getting back to sleep. I get up quietly and make my way downstairs to use my friend’s computer.. his iTunes is filled with all of the bands that were the rage at the time… AFI, Alexis, Bullet, Cartel, Early November, FFTL, Killswitch, Norma Jean, SKSK, Thursday, Underoath, Yellowcard.. the list goes on and on. The newly released Saosin album is sitting within the list. I had recently purchased the Taste of Chaos compilation CD and on disc two was the new Saosin track titled ‘Follow and Feel’. Because I already knew that one song, I felt the need to listen to it. The song is track 6 on the album. The track finishes and the next track, Come Close, races in… then track 8 - I Never Wanted To, then track 9 - Collapse… I continue looping the cycle back to track 6, and I am discovering that these other songs are getting better and better each time I listen. Next to where I am sitting is a window to the street.. the first faint glimmer of bleak winter light can be seen in the sky.. through the window, thick ice covers the village outside. The quaint double-storey brick homes of Perch Meadow frame the street amid a deep wash of fog and cold winter blue, almost like something out of a fairytale. I am so unbelievably far from home and the view through the window is so foreign yet also so incredibly magical. The feeling of a traditional white Christmas lingers in the air, something that I had never experienced in Australia. It is difficult to explain, but I just wanted to somehow stay suspended within those early morning hours. When I listen to these songs now - starting at from Follow and Feel through to Some Sense of Security, a flood of nostalgia takes back to that computer desk with the breathtaking view of Halton Village outside the window. Still to this day, Saosin’s Self-titled album remains my favourite record of all time. Thank you Saosin, thank you Howard Benson, thank you Mike Plotnikoff, and thank you Mr Lord-Alge. xo
Man, does this bring back good memories. As a drummer I always appreciated and focused on Alex's work, but now after a couple years I have a completely different appreciation for everyone in the band. Thank you for the amazing music you guys created. PD: I think a lot of people would be happy to see Alex behind the kit with some kick-ass drum playthroughs.
"I SAWWWWW HIMMMM FLYYYYY!" Every bridge on that album absolutely smacked. The pickups sound great too! I'm definitely thinking about snagging one of your models up and picking up a tab book! Thanks Beau!
God I love this song Beau. And I love Saosin SO MUCH. It was a literal dream come true in Charlotte. I can not wait to hear new music from you too!! You are my favorite
Master movement from Beau: 1 - Upload the guitar playtrough of the song 2 - Proceeds to play it LIVE with COVE for the FIRST TIME EVER!! Wish I was there... Told you on Twitch, looking forward to see you on Europe (maybe Spain??)

Honestly, this song, the entire album is up there for me in my top 5 albums of all time. There’s not one bad song on the album and it honestly came out during a time where there were no other bands doing it like Saosin. They came out of the gate with something that honestly changed my life. In a period I reminisce of fondly to this day. There’s been no album quite like it.
Favorite song from the self-titled - should have been a single if you ask me. Always loved how freaking huge it sounds when you guys hit those harmonics before the chorus comes in.
Beau's play throughs are next level. Hopefully could still get a ticket for the second date for the Manila show *fingers crossed* Saosin wrote songs that are timeless, just incredible
My golly gosh! I came here to check out this guitar, but all I could concentrate on was the unreal snare drum sound!!! That is a thing of beauty! All I want in life is to mix a snare drum that sounds like that...

So cool you're still doing these Beau. Saosin was my favorite band growing up. Only band I've seen 10 + times. No bullshit you guys are probably my biggest musical influence, and your music is pure magic with an ability to relate my emotions unmatched by any other artist. I remember learning this on guitar very early on and this took me straight back there. I could genuinely cry You're the man! Keep it up!
Glad to see you play this again Beau, saw you guys play in Dallas with Anthony on a reunion tour. Grabbed a poster and got a pic with you guys. Still wished I would have went on stage and jammed with you guys during sound check when no one would lmao. Great job on everything man, keep it up! Love the production sound with ghost atlas, saosin and all the projects you help with.
Holy shit, I was just starting to listen to this song again and eventually put it in my On Repeat playlist, and now this video came up. What a nice treatment, guys! Just hoping to hear some good news from you guys. Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
incredible. I'm so glad you're still making these play through videos. I love watching them. i own the sheet happens book for this album but sometimes I learn better by watching. I'd love for you to do Bury Your Head
If you guys add this song with “what were we made for?” and “let go control” to the set of your guy’s tour so many fans will go wild 😬👌🏻 I just hope Cove gets rest on his voice because too much straining can deteriorate it. You guys should do what Kid Laroi does on his “Stay” song when he performs live, he has parts already sung and plays with backtrack with live drums and guitar ofc, much love from California!
maybe saosin is not as popular as the bands out there, but believe me at least. saosin is a good band and always my favorite. In my country Indonesia, saosin is underrated. I hope people will know how cool saosin is
Fuck dude. I already told you, but this album was absolutely formative and an all-timer for me. This was always one of my favorites off of it too, takes me back big time ❤
Alright, now what would be sweet is to send this to Anthony and see what vocals he'd come up with. I think people would lose their minds, both good and bad, BUT could you imagine?! Redo the ST with AG vocals! haha
no-one ever mentions the arranging; i'm here saying that the arrangements are great too. haha ps: alex might be the best drummer too. fave band growing up

timeless album and probably some of the best production of this era next to underoath
I had this cd and they’re only chasing safety, exclusively, in my car for easily close to two years. 😂
