Dr. Lori, I enjoy watching your thrifting videos, especially the ones about jewelry and nice handbags. It's a blessing for you to be able to do what you do. Sellers have the same opportunities that you have when it comes to visiting various thrift stores, so when you see things that you really like, buy them; competition is a good thing. Maybe it would encourage more sellers to get out there to search for the kinds of items that you find. If Jesus had naysayers and critics, we would have them, too. No one can satisfy everyone, so just be true to yourself. Unfortunately, some people choose not to keep their negativity to themselves. You don't live with those people and they don't pay you, so don't worry about them. Keep up the good work, and be of good cheer.

Trust me, Goodwill and most large thrift stores are not re-pricing their items because of Dr. L.'s suggested resell advice. If you look at what they THINK is valuable in the locked glass cases, you will see.

I don’t understand most of these complaints. First of all, most resellers on TH-cam state where they are shopping and also try to educate watchers about their finds. Is everyone going to agree on every find or price? Of course not! BUT, you are all providing us watchers an education, so folks should appreciate that! Dr. Lori, I love watching and learning from your videos! My younger daughter is interested in mid-century dishes and glassware. For fun mother daughter days we hit the thrift and antique shops up to see what we can find. Needless to say, if I find something valuable I tell her ‘Dr Lori’ says! I feel that you do a great job airing out and processing the negative feedback. It's like doing the group house keeping together. Learners are neuro diverse and you are artful at explaining your pedagogy, values, and boundaries. The education to be obtained by you is a huge service and represents a big bag of gold. I think you’re very direct and precise and professional, and a lot of people have a problem with people that are very direct and don’t pussyfoot and walk around everything and make nice nice. I like your way of teaching. It’s easy to understand, it sounds professional, and it sounds clear and concise. As far as thrift shop and yard sales I don’t understand why people think they can go there and it’s all gonna be so pretty and organized. It’s not a department store.. I also think there’s so much out there and so many treasures to be found, revealing where you’re at or located at that moment isn’t a big deal. Several TH-camrs go into thrift shops, and talk about where they’re at and even going to give directions

Many are worthwhile charities, staffed by dedicated volunteers, funding good work. They dont owe you the lowest prices. I find they try to price fairly for both resellers and community members who need the items for their own families.

I like your Shop With Dr. Lori you tube videos. Other "shop with me " antique , thrifters and you tubers take us there but you have the credentials that we need. There will always be folks that are never happy or are not appeciative and will never learn. This is their loss. Thank you and your staff for the gift of knowledge that you share with us.
Trust me, Goodwill and most large thrift stores are not re-pricing their items because of Dr. L.'s suggested resell advice. If you look at what they THINK is valuable in the locked glass cases, you will see.

I don’t understand most of these complaints. First of all, most resellers on TH-cam state where they are shopping and also try to educate watchers about their finds. Is everyone going to agree on every find or price? Of course not! BUT, you are all providing us watchers an education, so folks should appreciate that! You have a lot of knowledge to share, and I for one appreciate it!

Dr. Lori, I love watching and learning from your videos! My younger daughter is interested in mid-century dishes and glassware. For fun mother daughter days we hit the thrift and antique shops up to see what we can find. Needless to say, if I find something valuable I tell her ‘Dr Lori’ says! I feel that you do a great job airing out and processing the negative feedback. It's like doing the group house keeping together. Learners are neuro diverse and you are artful at explaining your pedagogy, values, and boundaries. The education to be obtained by you is a huge service and represents a big bag of gold. It's great that you check in with us and loop everyone in. BTW, I enjoy hearing the location of those places and the content from the thrift stores. It's helped me identify some kitchen boxes in my own storage from family members. It's been delightful to take TH-cam breaks and learn more things from you. I think you’re very direct and precise and professional, and a lot of people have a problem with people that are very direct and don’t pussyfoot and walk around everything and make nice nice. I like your way of teaching. It’s easy to understand, it sounds professional, and it sounds clear and concise. As far as thrift shop and yard sales I don’t understand why people think they can go there and it’s all gonna be so pretty and organized. It’s not a department store.. I also think there’s so much out there and so many treasures to be found, revealing where you’re at or located at that moment isn’t a big deal. Several TH-camrs go into thrift shops, and talk about where they’re at and even going to give directions
Thank you so much for all your presentations. I'm truly enjoying you thrifting segments; like having a day out shopping. We all should remember that the tnrift stores are not our enemies. Many are worthwhile charities, staffed by dedicated volunteers, funding good work. They dont owe you the lowest prices. I find they try to price fairly for both resellers and community members who need the items for their own families.
