This is sickening. I am a married gay man trying soooo hard to adopt and its baffling how the system allows monstrous asswipes take care of children. Pardon my french
It's infuriating that people are so aginst same sex couples adopting kids that desperately need and deserve good, stable loving homes. I wish you and your husband well on your journey to becoming parents.
Right?! So many loving same-sex couples get denied adoption even though they have the space in both their house and their hearts for a child, yet people like this are allowed to adopt EIGHT CHILDREN when two of them were literally missing
Katarus Moore bless you for opening your heart and home to a child in need! I pray you get to adopt soon. I don’t know why the system allows vile abusers to take in kids but discriminates against gay couples who offer a loving, stable home.
That is the thing one way or other they DID NOT do their job. Their job is literally to review those documents. If they did, they would have realised that something is wrong long before...
JohNathan Elizalde yeah it is I was put in a boys and girls home when I was 7 and the first night I stayed there I threw up on myself and they made me lay in it until the next morning because they were tired of coming in my room and cleaning they also gave me underwear with shit stains and smelly clothes they don’t give a shit about the kids that go into the system and it’s devastating.
Rational Guardian you are spot on. I absolutely agree 100% everyone I had to talk to inside of the home were lazy and did the absolute least they possibly could. The children were fed disgusting poorly prepared sandwiches while they ate full course meals with a garnish and all. It was obvious children were very unhappy and they did nothing to help. It is very very irritating and saddening. But I completely agree with you. Fortunately I didn’t stay for long and my grandmother fostered is until my parents got us back in about a year. I am in a great place now and although it isn’t the best it is 10000000 times better then what life was like without being in my parents care. Thank you for understanding :)
At a kids rec center I worked at, I knew a girl who was ten, named Katherine. She was adopted and they changed her name to Aaliyah. I asked her if she liked it and she said "eh, not really" and I won't ever forget her voice and the look on the face..
I won't say that the act of changing the names itself is bad since there are cases where the adoptee wants to change their name but the fact that it was changed against his will and forced upon him is wrong
As sad as this is they still need to do their job correctly. They can’t just neglect children or people in help just bc their salary isn’t worth it. That’s not their fault.
Could you imagine being that young and having to transition into a new household and on top of that they want to give you a new name? Those poor children were probably so confused and unsure of what was going on. It was even more telling when contact was cut with the biological mother.
Actually apparently it's SUGGESTED that kids change their names when they get adopted. I follow a lot of family channels that adopted a bunch of kids (example: crazy middles) and each child has a choice whether they want to keep their name or rechange it. A lot of the kids say that it's therapeutic because their name can stay in the past with all the bad memories and they get a new name for their new happy life.
@@SavageThrifter A four-year-old? That seems far more confusing than helpful. I don't remember these children having any complaints about their mother. CPS came due to the dog bite.
@@wobblebobble6713 I don't remember this video because it was so long ago but I do know that a lot of kids change their name when they get adopted. For a "fresh start"
@@SavageThrifter I understand what you're saying I just think it would be ridiculous if the children didn't seem to have a bad life in the 1st place to try to forget about.
I adopted through foster care and I had 2 different CPS workers stop by any time and took pictures of my little one. I never went into the office and now that I’ve adopted her after having her 4 years I get calls every 3 months. They will call my daughters doctor to make sure she is getting her monthly checkups that they pay for. This story breaks my heart. Poor babies and damn the state for not checking up on them.
Sara T maybe she meant like one of the luckier ones cause tho she was neglected maybe she wasn't full on abused and she did say she's luckier than these boys, but idk I haven't seen the comment you're referring to
@@bambi7563 nope. You need to read the comment. Look for Steph Anis comment about changing the boys names and scroll down until you see the comment from harmony
Sickens me that the reason the boys got took off there mother is because of her mental health instead of getting help and support. None of this would have happened if she had got support off cps
I think the CPS system has changed significantly nowadays. I have 3 of my nieces sons that are dependents of the state. They gave their mother PLENTY of chances to get her children out of the system. Because they have given her so many chances their case has been open for over 5 years! And the boys are OVER IT! The purpose of this was to try and keep the kids with the biological parents and also do a lot to try and help the family sustain a healthy life. CPS paid my nieces rent for 6 months and helped her get back into school. They did a whole lot more, but clearly nothing helped her situation. The boys have been with me for 3 years and I became a foster parent for them and their case will be closed next month. And they can’t be more ecstatic!
@@tashiaredd3421 it depends on the state a few years ago in iowa there were 2 different cases were 2 girl in 2 different homes were starved to death in their adopted parents. One was pushed down the stairs and beat viciously.
As a former foster care/adoption worker...THIS CASE INFURIATES ME. I have worked with families that CLEARLY get involved in foster care/adoption to get the subsidy for the kids. I had one case that INSISTED that their child had multiple diagnosis to get as much money as they could. In regards to this case...every worker involved should have been fired.
Well let me tell you the other side. My brother adopted two boys from WI foster care. The older of the two has fetal alcohol. This was NEVER disclosed to my brother and sister in law. They would have adopted him anyway, but they would have understood his behavior. They would have known what kind of help he would have needed. They asked for information about his history for five years They ended up going to court to get the records the state refused to release and guess what? He was known to be fetal alcohol. All they had to do was disclose the truth so they could help him. That kind of crap does not encourage people to foster or adopt.
Well, the system as it is will attract people who don't want to work, and do think it will be easy money because they have zero care for the kids. The clue is when they start stacking kids like hoarders. Nobody shoud ever be allowed to foster or adopt 8 seperate kids. Why would anyone do that apart from for the obvious cahs benefits? You cant give attention to 8 kids with special needs at once, effectively, money is clearly the motivation hgere. I believe most fosters do it for the money, for a living in fact, which is an easuer and far better wage than working for the type of people who tend to do it, who often are uneducated and unskilled.
I would love to adopt/foster a child and if I got money from that, I would use it completely for the child. I have a son and I’m divorced. He’s 19 now but his dad never paid child support so now he has it coming out of his checks. My son has the child support card that the money goes on, and has had it for many years. That way when the money goes on the card, he gets it. I work for my money...I’ve always helped him and always will.
I know this video is old, but I just stumble on to it. I'm not from this country but I was wondering why people do not signed a petition to change the system? I would guess that millions will sign it. If I could I would send the link of this video to Melania and President Trump
I feel so bad for the bio mom.. she thought she was making the best decision for her boys, and then this happens.. :( I hope that the adoptive parents sold them to someone who will take better care of them instead of killing them, but it doesnt look good. Evil people...
Megan Phinney some people that desperately want children do sometimes end up doing illegal adoptions and tho that's morally wrong (a woman who desperately wants a child especially one who's miscarried before or had a stillborn sometimes go thru drastic measures) a lot of them end up actually being really amazing parents, so sometimes people do get sold to generally good people
@@bambi7563 Yeah... I know a guy whose mother died and his abusive father sold him to the neighbors for $50, then moved over a thousand miles away. They were decent people who just paid the money to make the POS go away.
You need more of you and a lot more appreciation for the tough job you do,i work along side social services in a different capacity than a social worker and see the hard work they do with very little thanks.
Sarah how would I go about becoming a social worker? I have always had a passion for children and at 30 Am looking for a career switch right now. I feel like I watched this case today for a reason.
Sarah Richmond It has been one of my many dreams to become a social worker. Believe it or not. The only thing is, you need a bachelor's. Unfortunately, I dotn have the money it attention span to go to college. I suck, I know.
I'm adopted myself, and I think changing a child's name after it's become a part of their self-identity is horrendous. Also, there are so many people who would be lovely parents who can't adopt because they don't meet certain regulations, but then they give... how many children? I lost count; to dangerous people who only want them for money. So frustrating. Those poor boys :(
Julie McLean this was what I was going to say. I’ve heard of people waiting years and having to jump through major hoops to even be considered. It’s disgusting that this happened and it’s disgusting and shocking that the country cares more about the fraud than terrible abuse and possible murder of two children. 😢
My fiancé and I are going through hell trying to become foster/adoptive parents yet dirt balls down the street have been for years. The entire system is messed up.
I totally agree. Growing up I had a friend who was in foster care and eventually adopted. She and her brothers luckily got placed with a good family. She would tell me stories of other kids that would pass through her foster home who were staying until they could find new homes because the foster homes or original homes they had been in were horrible.
Julie McLean not only that, but the mom got her kids taken away because of a dog bite?? But then cases like Gabriel Fernandez (if you haven’t heard of it I warn you it will make you feel ill for days) who called 911 while they were verbally abusing him and you could hear everything, went to school with black eyes, and told his teacher he was being abused, teacher told CPS, and literally no one did anything until he got beat to death.
Samantha SR Miller I’m so sorry. That must be really hard. You almost feel as if it’s thrown in your face especially if they live near. I’m wishing the best of luck to you and your growing family! 💜
I was adopted into a home alongside my little brother in a different state from my biological parents at the age of 12 after being in foster care for 3 years. Our adoptive parents treated us so great during the whole 6 month "trial period" but as soon as the adoption was finalized and both states backed out, I started getting the worst treatment. They get subsidy STILL for my younger brother because he has learning disabilities as well as developmental delays but they couldn't get any off of me so I guess they didn't see that I was worth it? They started not caring about me one single bit. Would not give me lunch money nor provide anything to bring in for lunch. Would not take me to the doctor or dentist when I needed to be which has given me a life long struggle with my teeth and the rest of my health. Basically the 7 years I was with them, I wished I had just stayed with my bio mom, who has a plethora of terrible mental disorders, and was so incredibly neglectful, just simply because I at least got a little bit of love. I am now 21 trying to get my life back on track because fighting for myself while in their care pretty much meant going against every moral thing I had. I'm now living back in my hometown in contact with my biological father and trying to make a life for myself, but the foster care systems and dept of children&families in almost every state are so incredibly terrible and nothings done because "well they're the experts, they know what they're doing"... NO THEY FUCKING DON'T I've been meaning to get around to making a few videos on my experience simply to try and advocate for change but don't have the ability to do so at the moment.
Wow. That absolutely breaks my heart. I'm quite a lot older than you so I hope you will see this and respect my words or wisdom...You are worthy of a good life. You are not at fault for whatever happened to you. It could happen to any of us. Don't ever think you are any less than anyone else or are not lovable. You have a wealth of life experience to share and you are so young. Please value yourself. Treat your body and mind with love and respect. Give yourself a good life. I wish I could hug you so badly!! You are only 21 and the world is yours, but I can only imagine how hard it would be to move on from something like you describe.... I had foster kids myself but did not adopt them because the older one (who was only 3) had mental issues that were totally overwhelming to me, especially when I already had my own kids. They were adopted by a very young family. The woman was 18. The judge granted me monthly visitation, as I am technically related to them by marriage. The adoptive parents never respected it though. They cut me out, blocked me. They are totally off the grid. Those kids are teens now and have no social media or anything. I have zero clue what happened to them and if they are okay, and since they were adopted, I have no right to know. I know they both had diagnoses too and the family got serious monthly reimbursement following adoption. This system is really screwed up. Please please please, don't let your childhood dictate the rest of your life. You will see that your experience can help other people. You deserve to heal and thrive. ((Hugs)) from an internet stranger who really is touched by your story.
@@MokochanOfficial I'm so sorry. I have so many problems of my own and am so not good at giving uplifting speeches because I don't even know how to fix myself. Im so sad for you. It is brave for you to speak up and sadly I have read MANY cases like this. JUST WHAT is the point of adopting/fostering if you do so to be cruel to the child(ren)! It sounds like these people have mental disorders. I have even read about sexual abuse rings. It angwrs me so much to hear your story sweetheart. You are so brave and your vodeos would help many people. You need to reach out and get some help. There must be a charity set up to help victims of this system or abuse. How are you today? Have you sought help? You will meet nicer people. You dont have to find them via family there are plenty of people out there who will be a great support network for you. But please reach out for help and support via a charity or organisation. 🙏 I am sure I can do an internet search for you.Your voice will help many others jammed in this disgustingly corrupt system. Your story should not happen at all. Big hugs sweetie!!!🤗
Those poor boys 😔 it’s wonderful that their real mom keeps their memory alive, but she’ll never have her children back. She only wanted to give her boys a better life that she wasn’t able to provide at the time, but was robbed of her pride and joy.
cicely I am adopted and that’s the reason I went into this field... unfortunately the workers are so brainwashed and complacent it’s hard to be the one to speak up. I lost a job because I was trying to change the system. :( have a very strong backbone and be ready to be kicked down and around before you make progress! I made progress, and am proud of myself, but it was tough... and I didn’t make as many changes as I’d have liked.
J H that is not true. I'm not religious and I'm such a kind, caring and empathetic person. You don't need God to be a good person smh. Have you not heard about all the rapist catholic priests?
Bambi I also stated hedonistic Catholic priests are going against God in many ways by choosing to rape little boys, still applies to being absent of God. Nobody is a good person, not a single one. Good is a person of moral excellence.
@@JH-cy7rk not only little boys!!! I know a girl that just had a baby because a priest bribed her and her entire family into thinking many many twisted things... At the time she was 16 (getting ready to turn 17) and he was in his 50's or 60's I can't remember exactly.... I think most religious just brainwash people into thinking certain things are okay and other things are horrible (or a sin whatever you want to say)
I had to take a walk after this one. I’m so infuriated. These children were failed by our government and their evil adopted “parents.” Each and every social worker that saw those documents should be held accountable too.
We set up these social workers to fail. By not having proper funding and expecting every social worker to have these insane case loads, of course short cuts are made and these workers develop crippling compassion fatigue.
Heather Elana okay, I don’t think I said it was. I do think it’s important to highlight this issue because otherwise children will continue to fall into the cracks of our broken system.
Not “we” and as someone who spends a good portion of my work dedicated to helping children in foster care I can attest to how horrible and negligent social workers can be. The system is broken but that is absolutely no excuse. Dcf receives federal funding for every placement it makes. They have a financial interest in tearing families apart.
SVU did an episode that touched on case worker overload and the negligence that happens. The show may not have been on a certain case but I’m sure plenty of cases could fit into this category. I’ve had children and family services called on my husband and I which turned out to be nothing and was dismissed but they did a good job all things considered.
Hi ya’ll. Let’s refer to case workers for CPS as case workers, and social workers as social workers. CPS workers don’t need a degree, social workers have Master’s degrees. I know because I am a social worker for children with disabilities. Most of us do not work in CPS.
Right. There's no way Americans would agree to having their taxes raised, to bringing home less money, in order to provide for more oversight in the foster system. It's all about the money. Everyone in this comment system is bitching about how the state needed to do more but it's likely they're the first ones to whine about raised taxes. How do you think these social programs get paid for? Don't complain about the state then refuse to contribute more when it comes down to it.
I CANNOT believe this case. It's utterly heartbreaking that NOBODY thought to check in on this family. Two under-10-year-old boys should not be able to slip through the cracks that way :( thank you for bringing more attention to this awful case and injustice, Danelle.
This pisses me off so much!! Those kids deserved a lot better than what they got. I dont have kids. Ive made the conscious decision in my life not to have any but I don't understand how you can neglect and abuse what you're supposed to protect.
I was HEATED this whole video but when you made the point about the gov caring more about seeing the laptops than seeing adopted children are still there and ok.. MY BLOOD IS BOILINGGGG😠😠😡
"They had nobody you guys...imagine feeling that." That really hit me. The thought of those little boys hopeless, afraid and alone just shatters my heart.
This was so heartbreaking. I work with the foster care and adoption system. In my role, I'm required to spend about five hours A WEEK with each child on my caseload. Face to face. And at least two hours with their teachers/guidance counselor each month, no bs paperwork that can be overlooked or faked. And I still know there are ways that the agencies I work with could improve. I'm so horrified that other states fail so badly in such atrocious ways. It's sickening. Thank you for doing this story and raising awareness about the flaws that still exist in the system.
Your heart is so pure and kind. I really look up to you like the big sis I never had. You inspire me because not only have you become successful doing what you love, you're also helping so many people as well. Love you Danelle💓
They went after the monetary crimes because they had proof and could convict them. This will give the investigators as much time as needed to investigate. It will also keep both of them away from other children that they may harm. I can guarantee that the police are not blowing this off. They took what they could to get them in prison where they belong. Great job with the case. I hope they find the boys.
This video made me cry so hard. This story has given my husband and me the determination to start working on foster care for children. Children who need love and a place to be safe and grow into the adults that they want to be. We are going to start working on opening our house and our lives to working with kids who NEED the real LOVE of a parent. Thank you for this video. You have given us a new reason to love. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
There's actually an SVU episode based on this case! They dont say it (theyre always like "not based on a true story" but its extremely obvious). A lot of the cases you talk about are actually in SVU episodes
This is just a theory but if she mentioned man slaughter, that to me means that maybe while she was abusing them they died. Or she thinks man slaughter means you brutally murder someone.
As infuriating as it is, I understand why the charges all related to the money. Since the authorities failed to follow up on the documentation the Bryant's sent in, there's no evidence about what happened to those poor little boys.
Connie Beard This is a good point... Maybe the authorities also fully believe they hurt the boys but it was much more difficult to prove so they pinned them with what they knew they could. Extremely frustrating, but understandable. I just wish the Bryant’s would admit to what they did with those poor boys.
Yeah, if they found the boys then I believe they would definitely be charged for murder. But because they couldn't find the bodies they needed to charge them for something they could be locked up for a lifetime for.
Because of double jeopardy laws if they tried them for murder without bodies they'd run a huge risk of them walking away Scott free. The fraud charges are easy to prove and a sure win and there's enough charges to probably put them away till they die.
Yes! Also because of double jeopardy if they tried to trial them for murder/harming them with not enough evidence and they were acquitted, they wouldn’t be able to be trialed again if more evidence come forward proving their guilt etc. The charged they were given will keep them in prison for long enough to stop them harming the other children and will allow the police to find more info.
Precious babies. God rest their souls. This is heartbreaking. I was physically abused my entire childhood until I turned 18 and left my mothers home. I wasn't locked in a closet or anything like that but at times it got pretty bad. I'm sure people knew, family neighbors and friends but no one said much. I do remember moving a lot and not being able to go to school but as bad as my abuse was I can't imagine what these poor babies went through. My abuser died in 2006 and I'm working through my healing. I believe in karma and such and it will come back to the people who do this type of stuff.
As an ex teacher, moving home often & suddenly pulling children out of normal school for 'homeschooling' are a feature in most abuse cases . Honeschooling is often because they're getting sloppy & leaving bruises in plain sight & any starvation is also getting obvious.
My abusive mother kept threatening to put me in homeschool as a way to further socially isolate, control, and abuse me. She did succeed in manipulating my little brother into homeschool, and being stuck with her controlling every aspect of his life wrecked his mental health. She was always controlled (or lucky) enough not to leave visible marks, and it's so weird because she can come off as such a nice and caring person sometimes (and I think she does love us, it's just in a very dysfunctional way where she's also very entitled and can't separate her love from her abusive behavior), but even so, I had at least one teacher pick up on my demeanor around my mother and encourage me to call CPS once he learned more. (Basically he gave me a choice - either I could call, or he would call for me. I should have let him do it, honestly, because I didn't want my parents to get in trouble, so when I called I downplayed things a lot.) There are legitimate reasons to homeschool a child, but it is often a red flag especially if there are no problems at school leading up to the decision, and it (perhaps unfairly) raises my hackles any time I hear of a parent pulling their child out of school.
I work at an inner city school & (please excuse my wording as I really haven't a clue how to properly say this ...) But stuff like THIS is rampant & Damn near "common practice". And for the ones who truly care & want to help - our hands are LITERALLY tied. I have met dead end after dead end when trying to help my students. Its absolutely unbelievable. I can't even find words to relay my experiences. So the only thing I myself can do is to show my students that someone does care and that they are always in my heart. I make every 8 hour day as great for them as poasible because I know that home life is a LITERAL hell for them and that i cannot fix it. I basically treat each day as it's the last time I may see them walk into my classroom. Because it has happened. Makes me physically sick just thinking of it. Idk how I can change the system. It makes absolutely no sense. Its always about the money. Its pathetic and I wish I could fix this. Hope this made sense. This gets me EVERY SINGLE time.... Thanks for all you do my friend 💋
every small thing you do will matter so much to your students. i respect your mindset and what you do, please stay strong even when it breaks your heart. the kids need you!!!
As a foster teen, watching younger kids in care being failed was heartbreaking. Thank you for being so passionate and emotional about it. Youth Advocates are a thing here in BC, Canada at least who can be contacted to be a go between for the child, to advocate for their wants/needs, to come to social worker visits, etc. I wish they were more widely known about and these kids deserve better. 💕 Love your content.
I’m a foster child as well hearing that these children have been abused and maybe even murder is crazy and puts my issues and worry’s to rest because My problems feel smaller than ever
To make people feel a bit better. I think they prosecuted only on the money because it was a rock solid case they knew they could win and put these people away for a long time. I do think they should have gotten a failure to report, neglect, and endangerment charge. But, it all would have been harder to prove.
@@emmyblue30 unfortunately no! But it's okay, I have a beautiful and peaceful life for myself now and only me to thank for it! And I appreciate it I think more than your average person. Thank you💕
Brenna alyssa I’m glad you have a good life. And if you ever need a mother figure, let me know. My son probably wishes I had another child. He’s 19, and I’m sure I’m too much mother for him sometimes. 😂 Seriously though, I will be a stand in Mama for you if you ever need/want one.
I can tell you're such an amazing mom. These two boys, like too many others, were not blessed with the parents they deserved. Be happy you are a loving parent to two children who are so lucky.
My sister is a cps worker, she is the 1 who has to go in and remove the children out of the household....beyond that, the stuff she deals with on a daily basis is so so sad....I couldn't do it,this case breaks my heart,I pray those boys are found,so they can have some peace.....I'm balling my eyes out
I believe this is the most infuriating stories I've heard to date! I just can't imagine!!! I feel sorry fir the biological mother and family bc she is the one that ultimately trusted this couple. U know she probably deals with so much guilt every single day! I can't imagine how this plays on to her depression etc. these poor boys!!! 😪 I believe if they were still alive they would've already came out to speak about the horrific abuse these 2ppl did to them. Such a heartbreaking and infuriating case.
This is so crazy. I remember when I was about 11 or 12 (my mom was receiving food stamps from the gov’t(she was a single mom with a low paying job and having a babysitter for us)) she had to take my two siblings and me to social services and because they wanted Interview each one of us separately to make sure she was taking care of us right so she could keep receiving help from the government. So I don’t get how they got away with it. Like it blows my mind. This also reminds me of the Hart family.
I have a sister who didn’t raise her own children well. She had CPS cases. Her children are adults now and she wants to foster or adopt because they get no income tax. She said it just like this “we need kids for income tax”. I was younger then but I’ll with all my Heart put a stop to her fostering or adopting!! It’s absolutely ridiculous. She sits at home all day trolling the internet. She just wants foster kids to collect a check and not work.
Good god,i didn't realise that people like that actually existed..good on you for taking things into your own hands, especially with family and best of luck
You're a good person for refusing to let her keep children in her home. A lot of people with a lot less integrity wouldn't even consider going against family, regardless of the lives they may be harming. Like Cailin said, her previous CPS cases may keep her from being allowed to foster, but I'm glad you'll remain vigilant even if she's accepted & you see neglect/abuse.
Nicodemus I have lost family members due to me calling her out. Guess it’s not really a loss when they’re accepting of horrible behavior. Not my kinda people at all.
This is exactly what happened with the Hart family in California that went over the cliff!!! No oversight and 6 dead children! Not only does our justice system need a total over-haul, our social service system does as well. Theres absolutely ZERO accountability in either one! As an American citizen and taxpayer I'm beyond fed up with it!!!
Wendy Lou That is the first thing I was thinking. They were adopted from Tx too. I do not believe they should be allowed to homeschool foster/adopted children. While it can be great for certain kids, it allows isolation and allows abused children to go unnoticed. So sad and infuriating.
Ms Mystery I would hate to take it away completely, but there definitely should be special supervision when homeschooling foster/adopted children. Im also not against the money received BUT once fully adopted and they take on the adopted family name or officially adopted, I think they should be cut off. Children are becoming a commodity and its sickening!
the Harts being white definitely helped them hop states and avoid CPS. If they were black, all their kids would've been gone for much less. The same is also true for any Native Americans who have the highest rate of kids being taken away by the state they live in.
It's the same in the uk sadly, people treat these children as a paid job instead of parenting and loving these poor displaced children. Financial incentives bring out the fake people who shouldn't be in charge of animals let alone children. Makes me sick.
this story is so incredibly eerie and it makes me so angry. their biological mother let that couple adopt her boys in the hopes of giving them a better life, and instead, they killed them. i hope she doesn't blame herself.
Another set of people who literally got away with murder. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about any child being abused by these monsters. Thank you for sharing their story.
I'm probably going to end up adopting children when I'm ready to have kids. And I plan to treat them like my own. And it's sick and awful that someone could do such horrific things to a child. I just can't imagine how anyone- especially a child- could endure such abuse.
I have been working with children for over 20 years. THis shit is common and no one does anything about it. Tell people to contact their congress person and representatives to try to change the laws.
This is a terrible story!! I am so glad that my mom did not let my foster parents adopt my brother and me. When our mom got us back, she realized we had both been abused. I know I have PTSD from my experiences then, although I don't remember all the things that may have happened to us.
Ain Lerato Michele honestly it's so sad how bad foster care can be I had a friend and she and her 3 other siblings were in foster care for a while and the saddest thing she told me was about the last family she was with she like the best because all they did was lock them in their rooms and closet and only kept a few meals from them and didn't hit them with the broom
Cierra Irwin That's terrible!! I hope she has a better life now. 😊 I love children, I don't understand how people who treat children poorly are cleared to foster them.
Ain Lerato Michele me either just sad it's like they just a cheque to them which is terrible there are better ways of making money if you don't even like kids let the people who do take care of them
I agree those boys deserve to be known and I hope you’re aware it’s been 2 years since you made this video and I’m just now seeing it for the first time so it’s still reaching people. Maybe not as many as when you first made it but even 1 more a day is still hundreds more that are learning about these boys every year. Their name deserves to be said and I have so much love for these boys as a former foster child. My heart goes out to them.
I literally live in Colorado Springs which is only a few miles away from Monument and I WORK in Monument and I’ve never heard this story before. Thank you for always raising awareness Danelle!
Well, if you're ever out hiking, you can keep an eye out for bones. I'm not saying that in any bad/weird way - I literally always keep my eyes out for anything out of the ordinary when I'm out hiking, plus I was involved before in a search for a missing child. If nothing else, families deserve to be able to properly lay their loved ones to rest.
Children are the most vulnerable among us, they cannot always report or recognize the abuse. Laws that protects children should be more important than laws regarding crimes, commerce, environment, animals or any other field.
I was adopted and luckily by the most amazing family of all time. I can’t even comprehend why these two boys had to live such a hard life from such a young age, they surely didn’t deserve it.
The mother in you is clear to see with the anguish and outrage you feel. Typical of authority to put money first and cover up thier mistakes such a heartbreaking case absolutely soul destroying💔💙
This makes me so angry, these people are disgusting. This poor woman made (I'm sure) the most difficult decision of her life to give her babies to a family that she thought could provide them a better life. I really wish these boys get justice one day. It's heartbreaking that these boys fell victim to a flawed system and these money hungry low life's.
Social workers have too many cases. Most are robots. House check for 5 min, file papers, and move on to the next. A good friend is a social worker, but she kicks ass she's *amazing* She works extra hours, come in on days off, etc. She has *saved* so many kids. During visits she actually *listens* to what the kids tell her, doesn't blow off the mothers *excuses* as to why they missed school or why they have a bruises etc. Or if there's a *red flag* like the kids not sayin much or their demeanor is off, she'll spend extra time until their comfortable to talk to her and they *trust* her that someone will actually listen and believe them. She literally *sacrifices* time with friends hangin out if necessary just to make sure *all* her cases are kept up on. Yes *she's overworked and underpaid* and actually took on *a second job* doing cases at home cuz she needs the $. She gets *one day* a week to be with family. She has the *biggest heart* of anyone I've ever met. She even saved *my* life at one point. She cares for everyone no matter what. And I'm *not* discrediting others that have hearts of gold, that feel like her, but don't all have the ability to go to that extent cuz they have kids or a second job as well. Ones like them do *everything* in their power to keep the kids as *safe* as they legally can. It's just such a *sad sad situation* with the system letting these kids *fall through the cracks* So many kids are *abused or parents are drug addicts* The system absolutely *pisses me off to no end* I always wanted to be a foster mom since I was a kid so I could be a *safe home* to all these kids that get shuffled around and not cared for. I wish things weren't this way, but *in the end* the state just *doesn't care* and it's total BS. And the fact these people actually *adopted* these kids and this happened blows my mind!!! Usually people will just be a foster home cuz they want the $. But the ones that *do* adopt, do it cuz they love and want the child to have a *FOREVER FAMILY*
@@foreversocal1 they will not agree to their taxes raised cause American system is ridiculous. Medics insurance alone sounds insane. American government sucks out every penny
@@СофияБаширова-щ9ю Americans pay less taxes, on average, than citizens of other western countries. Our government literally takes less than the governments of all the other oecd countries, save Chile, Mexico & Ireland's, yet the citizens btch consistently about government waste & how badly the government runs sht. It's operating at almost half of what European countries collect in taxes
Hey, I know this comment is old, but please if you see this tell your friend from me that she sounds like an amazing person and I'm sure her compassion and dedication is making a real difference in these kids' lives. It's so easy for people in this and similar professions to just get burnt out and/or get compassion fatigue, so I do hope your friend is also looking out for herself and her own needs as much as possible. 💗
As someone with ADHD I think it's sick they thought they could use their child's illnesses as an excuse I hope these 2 boys are happy and have better lives and are not dead in the mountains like you said, that really hit me like a rock those kids could be anywhere around there dead or missing it really shows how much of a fucked up world we live In, and I feel for their mum she knew that she couldn't look after those kids and wanted to give them a life they deserve she let them go for their benefits and I bet she hates herself for doing that but it's not her fault.
Those poor babies. I just can't even fathom how anyone could do stuff like this. Not even talking about the abuse, but the sheer nonchalance about them being missing. My brother was a TERROR when he was younger, bipolar and ODD so basically anything he could do wrong, he would do wrong just to get a reaction. He stole, cursed, attacked people, you name it, he did it. Still, when he went missing for a couple of hours when he was 11, we had the cops out knocking on doors, we were driving through the whole town looking for him and yelling his name. Even with this kid who made hell for our whole family for a lot of years, when he went missing, we made a stink. I can't imagine NOT doing that for anyone. As for the whole them not getting charged for murder or anything in regards to the kids themselves, it makes perfect sense. There's likely a statute of limitations on some of the potential charges, and for the others (like murder), you need proof. If you can't get the proof, they would likely get off free of those charges. What if evidence comes up later then? They wouldn't be able to be charged. Its likely they killed the boys but without any proof or a confession, it's better to jail them on other charges instead. Also want to add in a foster care horror story. My brother (not the one previously mentioned) and his brother (so my half-brother's half-brother) were both taken away from their mom and sent to the same foster home. My brother was there for a while before his brother was even born, and after the birth came home for a bit before they were both sent away. My brother was attacked by the 2 other boys in the home on a regular basis, had teeth knocked out, went to the ER several times, that kind of stuff. He also was only allowed to eat things like PBJs and macaroni. He pretty much only got other food when he was on visits. During this time, by the way, he was 5-6 years old, so still dependent on others yet old enough to tell you what was happening. When he was taken the second time, this time with his then 4 month old brother, HE WAS SENT TO THE SAME HOME. Despite everyone involved saying over and over again something was WRONG there, they were both sent there. So some time passed. At about a year and a half old, the baby still couldn't crawl, and was yellow. He weighed the same as he did at 5 months old. The foster family refused to let him eat food and kept insisting that he must have some huge physical disability to account for his failure to thrive. They brought him to all sorts of specialists and did everything they could to prove that he was disabled, and that it was his mother's fault. We brought him to the doctor once a month during visits because we knew documentation would be crucial in getting him out of there. But nobody listened. Even the worker who would sometimes be on visits was highly concerned but none of the higher ups listened to anyone on our side. They just listened to the foster family and kept this poor baby there. My brother would tell us on visits that while they were there, the baby was always kept in the crib, in a room, away from everyone else. He would be given a bottle (as in a single 6 ounce bottle) for his meals and never got socialization. Yet somehow these 'parents' weren't the cause of his 'mysterious' illness. Finally, FINALLY over a year after he was taken away (at this point, my brother at least was out of there, in my custody instead), the family decided to go on vacation but didn't want to drag a sick toddler along. He went to another home for respite care. It was supposed to last a week. In that week, his color improved, he started vocalizing more, and learned how to crawl and walk. ONE FREAKING WEEK. After that happened, DHS finally started investigating this other family. They had something like 2 bio children, 3 adopted, and fostered several at a time. IMO they were all in it for the money but that's just opinion. I don't know how it all went down but I sure as hell hope they never get to have another child in their care. Both children in this situation are doing fantastic, and in the process of being adopted. The baby is being adopted by his second foster family, a fantastic couple who live just a few blocks away who I know truly love him, and my brother is being adopted by me. I know he'll never want for any love or be abused or mistreated anymore. In total it took about 2 years of us knowing that something was wrong before DHS actually stepped in. It's just terrible.
Videos like these about children always makes me so sad, I will never understand people that hurt and abuse something as innocent and pure as children. (Or people who hurt people in general) videos of children just hit me harder because I have 2😢 I just imagine how terrified these sweet kids are when they are being abused and mistreated breaks my heart! Thank you so much for what you do! You are always so respectful and kind!
I can already tell this case is going to make me cry but I'm going to watch it nonetheless because I love your videos and you're always so graceful and careful about how you approach these cases. Edit: also I love the way that every so often you add in a few clips or videos. For someone like me that finds it hard to concentrate on one thing for long periods of time, it makes it a lot easier and more entertaining.
I’m seriously confused... how was the youngest brother, James in the army when all of this investigation was happening in 2011 and he was only about 1.5 years in 99... am I missing something?
So I immediately when and tried to find an age or some info on James and there’s like NOTHING other than some articles stating he came forward with the brothers from the other adoptive household, and it stated that in 2011 they had 5 remaining children in their home, a sixth that was in prison, and the seventh being James who was stationed at a military base. I’m sooo confused. He would have been 13-14 ish based on the ages of the older boys and timeline of their adoption. He was 3 at MAX in 2000 when they were adopted seeing as Austin was 4.
I Figured it out! I found an article that worded everything much more clearly. James Bryant is not the biological baby brother of the boys. He is a child that was adopted into the family after the other boys. I could not find the younger boy’s name or any of the other 4 minors in the home. The baby brother was part of the 5 that were turned back over to the state, and therefore his name was not released and that is why there’s no information on him.
I really feel that this 'monster couple' had help on the inside. Too many instances where nothing was verified, those 28+ submissions that weren't even looked at. I think the charges brought against them were just the ones they could prove; they know the boys won't likely be recovered. They need to change the procedures in honor of Edwards and Austin. You are doing a great thing with these cases, thank you!
Vagabondmoon 1 I doubt it. In most states child protective services is so understaffed it's insane. If someone is sending in all of their paperwork on time, attending their meetings and no accusations of abuse have been made they're just going to stuff those papers in a file cabinet and move on to the next case.
prettymelanin exotic Especially in daycares . McMartin is a prime example of Hampstead is too. Pizza gate really shows a lot as well. But ofc, we’ll just get called crazy conspiracy nuts.
I don’t understand why on earth someone would want to work for social services and could let this happen! There are other ways to make money than off innocent children. Doesn’t make any sense so sad :(
this makes me so sad, those innocent little boys were definitely killed by both of those monster just because they were a little difficult. i hope some resolution comes for these little boys
thank you for everything you do Danelle!!! this video infuriated me so much that i changed my entire course of study to become a social worker and hopefully save at least one child from ending up like Austin and Edward.
Yes ! 1 child 1 life 1 precious gift of life that dies under someone else's care that is swept under the rug is 1 TOO MANY! I had a stillborn and that was so awful that I will never even try to get pregnant again but I would give anything to adopt a child and could give that child the most love they could ever feel and hands on education everyday yet I'm not a good adoption candidate bc I'm not married or live in an Apt instead of a house yet the people who are married actually are sometimes worse for children bc of fighting and divorce and attention on their spouse instead of the children etc. I could give a million reasons why I am actually THE BEST candidate yet NOPE can't adopt. I can tell you if those boys were raised by me not only would they still be alive they would probably be the next president or Nobel prize winner and even if they really weren't they would feel like they were in their heart everyday. These cases make me cry so hard.
PS- danelle your children are so lucky to have a mother Ike you. They will undoubtedly be amazing people with beautiful souls. Be proud of yourself for that 💜
I’m 40 now. But at the age of 3 I was beginning to be molested by my step dad. I remember telling but of course no one cared. Also was beat. At 7 someone listened. I was put into foster care. The system was told he wasn’t around anymore. At 9 I went home. (The system was just as bad) at 13 I finally had enough an prayed I wouldn’t “get into trouble again and be placed by dss) and I told again. He went to prison. My bringing up was hell. But I’m happy with 3 grown boys now but I no what it feels like to have no one. Those poor boys and I honestly believe not one person in “the system” cares about any of us. It’s a job and money smfh poor boys. I’m heart broken for them.
Wow, you're doing an awesome job in bringing awareness to the missing. It's just mind boggling and horrific how many there. Imagine the world we would have if all children were raised with love and nurturing, and no trauma.
wow, how could anyone do that! The government let not one but TWO missing kids go just for money. That makes me sick, what people do for money. Its disgusting!
If I was the boys birth mother I would hire a lawyer to get the Bryants more jail time and the child protected service for letting this happen. This is so sad and I don't understand some people when it comes to mistreat the children.
When I was adopted at 4 years old, my parents never received a penny for me. Nothing, I know because mom would have told me and because I loved to get the mail. If they were receiving checks or Food Stamps I would have known. I also went shopping with her on a weekly basis to make sure she bought my favorite things. She always paid with cash. It wasn't until dad became physically disabled that he received SSDI and mom and I were eligible for SSI. Mom talked about how when during the Great Depression Food Stamps were available, everyone knew you were on them. Remember this was a time when everyone shopped at local food stores where you knew the manager, cashiers, stock boys etc. There were no Walmarts to go to back then so people would gossip about how So and So were on Food Stamps or Welfare. She thought that it was embarrassing and humiliating to receive any help from the Government. The only money she accepted was SSI because she had worked for it. I hope they find these dear little boys someday. I hope the prisoners treat these people the way they deserve to be treated. I hope they burn in Hades. 🔥🔥🔥
"Between 2003 and 2005... that's 6+ years" someone please explain, I'm confused 2005 the little brother that was 15 months old in 1999 is in the army I don't understand this case😭
I thought that the older boys (not James, the ones fostered by the Bryant’s daughter) were interviewed in 2009. They said they had not seen Austin since 2003-2005 and Edward Dillon since 2001. That’s where the 6+ years came in to play. 2003 to 2009 is six years and 2001 to 2009 would be eight years. The little brother, James in the army confused me too.
Edward (7), Austin (4) and James (15 months) are adopted in 2000. In 2001 Edward (8) is never seen again. Austin (5) and james ( 2) are still in the home. 2003-2005 Austin (7-9) goes missing and James (4-6) stays in the home. However no one reported that they boys were gone until around 2010 (James would have been around 11) I’m guessing him making the comment about him being in the arm was years later after he turned 18.
@@songgirl101 am still confused. She says the police searched for James after the other boys came forward and found him in the army. That was in 2011 making him 14 or so tops. anybody want to stage a guess that maybe James....isnt James??? Maybe another one of the kids they adopted given his identity?
I am a mom to two boys and I will be 38 this year... my boys are 16 and 4 and with my littlest heading into pre-K, it's time for me to start looking for my new career change. I've ALWAYS wanted to work with an organization that helps children, or people in general, that don't have a chance in life without someone fighting for them.... the thing that happened here is what scares me the most about thinking of heading into a career like this... for just what you said... It seems social workers get put into these situations with no real authority but also no real help from those who do have the authority. An almost impossible situation. I am not one who could let this kind of work go and not bring it home with me, I don't think anyway, yet I am very literally pulled to do SOMETHING like social work or active in some organization where I could hopefully touch lives. Helping people is my passion... even if it's 'just' getting the man outside the store a sandwich, chips and a drink on my way out. This one really got to me and has my mind spinning about what direction I can go to make an impact of some sort... Thanks for all you do. Your channel creates positive ripples. Just look at what it's embedded even further in my heart. I can't help these boys but maybe there are others I can help.... if I can just find my direction on how to do that. You're amazing lovey! ❤
Kristine McKechnie social work is so hard. I learned the hard way that you have to set work boundaries where you allow yourself to leave work at work. This was and is something I struggle with. Your clients are on your mind 24/7 and you still can't do everything you want. I have burned myself into the ground several times. Compassion fatigue is real and something they don't prepare you for in school. That's why there are so few of us. If you feel called to do this please do! We need more like you! But set those boundaries!
Shannon Proctor Thank you so much for that! I know how desperately it's needed, but I know myself well enough to know I'm a literal fixer. For everyone. It would kill me if by my nature it started hurting my home life because I feel so deeply for people. Do you have any other suggestions of a career I could look into similar but maybe not so out of the boundaries I probably would be able to set for myself? I wish I could 'shadow' people and really see it to know I'm write for where I head. I need to be my best me for who ever I'm helping... I know what I want to do but I don't know what direction to go.... why is wanting to help so hard for me to figure out, it's everywhere.
almost 200k! i’m so proud of you danelle. i’ve been here since you had 900 subscribers and i just want you to know how much i appreciate what you’re doing to get these names out to the public. 💞
That’s it....so few social workers & so many children. What happened to these kids is just awful. They were abused then gone. Over money. It’s so terrible. Thank you for your passion.
These poor boys. The system has been broken for so long, this is just another reason it needs to be fixed and safer for the children put though the abuse. My heart goes out to the boys and any other children in this situation or one like this ❤️
This is so disgusting, Foster children DO NOT GET the proper care. The children's adoption were their death sentence. I think they got tired of them and got rid of them or just faced with so much neglect and abuse they died and they covered it up. I hope their other brother and the rest of the boys bio family gets some kind of justice or peace soon. I really feel for them!
When you said “lost my marbles” just god you’re the absolute cutest. The emotion and dedication you put into these videos is truly admirable. The work you do is helping more people than you know and I’m truly grateful as I’m sure many more are that people like you exist who give voices to the voiceless. Lots of love to you and your sweet family 💖
You made me cry with this one. This is why I want to be a foster mom. I'm adopted, and I'm so grateful for the life I have, I want to give that to children who need love and stability, and family. Thank you so much for bringing this to light. We are all responsible in the task of improving our society. We are failing our children in in so many ways, it's heartbreaking.
I want to adopt a disabled child so I can love them unconditionally. As someone with a disability, I know what it's like to feel unloved and I don't want my future child or children feeling that way over things they can't control. Even if they dont have a disability, I will still love them with my whole heart.
My heart breaks for these children. There are absolutely not enough social workers. This is literally one of the most heartbreaking videos I've watched. Situations like this is what makes me want to become a social worker. I know I cant help everyone but knowing at least you can help a fraction of these children is amazing. What you do is amazing and I for sure will be supporting in any way I can.
Did anything happen with social services or the adoption agency for not following through or doing their jobs correctly ..I’ve been googling and I have found nothing on that. They should also be investigated.
StaceyLeena I was wondering this too. How did they fall through the cracks. We need to know to fix this. The most vulnerable being treated this way is sickening.
My cousin was SOLD by her bio family to be used as a sex slave to an adoptive family. Stories like these are why I intend to adopt. We have so many kids who deserve so much better than we’ve given them. :/
This story upset me to tears like you. I remember being a little girl crying my heart out for my mum when she worked at night despite my darling father kneeling by my bed comforting me. Knowing how hurt i felt at that night despite having no reason to miss her despite being a kid, I just die inside to think what heartbreak these boys felt while going through what they did crying for their mother. Thank you so much for caring about them.
I’m beyond shocked that the state that failed these boys so horrifically didn’t even care to give them justice. I can’t imagine how somebody can be so evil to abuse those precious babies. This one really breaks my heart. I feel so sad for the bio-mom as well.
THIS This absolutely broke my heart and had me in damn tears. As a mother of 4 and currently pursuing a degree in counseling this stuff right here is soul crushing. My husband and I would like to foster children in the next 10 years and give them some sort of care, stability, and love. I do not understand how 2 people could be so heartless. Those poor sweet baby boys! Thank you for this and for always bringing awareness to horrifying events that occur daily!
This is sickening. I am a married gay man trying soooo hard to adopt and its baffling how the system allows monstrous asswipes take care of children. Pardon my french
i hope everything works out for you and your husband! 🙏🏾
Good luck, don’t give up.
Personally I think the people who viewed their documents every 3 years and didn’t check properly should be held accountable for this too
Yes! they should all go to prison. They are also responsible for whatever happened to these poor innocent children!
The system is to blame, the people working in it were doing their jobs, right or wrong
That is the thing one way or other they DID NOT do their job. Their job is literally to review those documents. If they did, they would have realised that something is wrong long before...
If they had laws that held workers responsible for the children, the workers would be way more involved.
Child protective services is a joke ... I was taken in to a foster home and was abused and I spoke up and was seen as a liar. The system is broken
I'm truly sorry that you had to go through that.
Rational Guardian thank you so much! You truly warmed my heart, I wish the best to you too. You are very kind :)
That's awful, I'm so sorry that happened to you.
Who in the hell changes a young boy's name at 4 years old? How cruel is that
wobble bobble so selfish
i’m pretty sure she said he was 7, so even worse.
It happens all the time. I am not saying that is right, but sometimes names are changed for children safety.
There would be more social workers if they weren't paid fast food wages for a job that requires a Master's degree.
🙌 🙌 🙌
YES!!!!!!!
YES. I have my masters in SW. Totally agree.
As sad as this is they still need to do their job correctly. They can’t just neglect children or people in help just bc their salary isn’t worth it. That’s not their fault.
That's sad people should do what they want not about how much money they will make . Everyone want to get rich
Red flag to me is that they changed the names. They didn't respect the birth mother clearly, or the actual child.
Stephanie Darling They have a legal right/ability to change their names as the adoptive parents. It’s not uncommon at all.
Doesn't change the fact that it's very disrespectful. Laws don't equal respect.
Could you imagine being that young and having to transition into a new household and on top of that they want to give you a new name? Those poor children were probably so confused and unsure of what was going on. It was even more telling when contact was cut with the biological mother.
Exactly, it's heartbreaking. I don't care if it's common practice, it's just cruel.
Stephanie Darling Needlessly so. I think it’s much more common to change the last name verses the first name anyway.
My heart sank when you said they began to call Dylan by another name. How can you do that to someone who already has an established sense of self.
Mad Lib That doesn’t make it right
I adopted through foster care and I had 2 different CPS workers stop by any time and took pictures of my little one. I never went into the office and now that I’ve adopted her after having her 4 years I get calls every 3 months. They will call my daughters doctor to make sure she is getting her monthly checkups that they pay for.
This story breaks my heart. Poor babies and damn the state for not checking up on them.
@@MokochanOfficial didn't you say under another thread that you were one of the lucky ones? I'm confused.
TMI Flow you are such an amazing loving mommy. god bless you beautiful 😘❤️
TMI Flow well Done you for adopting we need good mums in the world
Sickens me that the reason the boys got took off there mother is because of her mental health instead of getting help and support. None of this would have happened if she had got support off cps
100 % The government doesn't want healthy happy homes. They thrive off dysfunction.
Nothing is ever done "in the best interest of the child/children" like they want you to believe. Its ALL about the money.
The state could have paid the money to their Mom, and the boys wouldn't have gone missing. 💔
Najiba G-H Yes!
No one really gets "sold" to good people. ... ur heart is in the right place but ... reality is darker than our dreams .. xo
When you said social workers are overworked... PREACH. As a social worker this absolutely shatters my heart. There are absolutely not enough of us.
You need more of you and a lot more appreciation for the tough job you do,i work along side social services in a different capacity than a social worker and see the hard work they do with very little thanks.
As a fellow social worker, I cannot agree with you more!
Sarah Richmond social worker here too, the case load and round the clock work is huge and there truly aren't enough of us. It isn't an easy job.
NO THEY FUCKING DON'T
I've been meaning to get around to making a few videos on my experience simply to try and advocate for change but don't have the ability to do so at the moment.
Jasmon Beaulac I’m glad you’re ok and making a life for yourself. The system is messed up. It’s a tragedy.

So I won't try and give u advice. I just wanted to say I get it. And I hope it gets better for you. 💙
Their bio mother has a fb page for them. She has it littered with all old photos of happier times. My heart has broken for these boys.
Those poor boys 😔 it’s wonderful that their real mom keeps their memory alive, but she’ll never have her children back. She only wanted to give her boys a better life that she wasn’t able to provide at the time, but was robbed of her pride and joy.
This case is one of the reasons that I am going to become a social worker that focuses primarily on foster children. The system needs to be fixed.
Thank You.
cicely I am adopted and that’s the reason I went into this field... unfortunately the workers are so brainwashed and complacent it’s hard to be the one to speak up. I lost a job because I was trying to change the system. :( have a very strong backbone and be ready to be kicked down and around before you make progress! I made progress, and am proud of myself, but it was tough... and I didn’t make as many changes as I’d have liked.
God bless you. You are a kind soul. ❤
cicely I do social work, and it is incredibly hard, especially with kids. Make sure you take care of yourself too!
cicely Big mistake
It's so sad that we as humans care more about money or other materialistic things than a human being.
andrea avina That’s what happens when a society becomes hedonistic and absent of God.
J H that is not true. I'm not religious and I'm such a kind, caring and empathetic person. You don't need God to be a good person smh. Have you not heard about all the rapist catholic priests?
andrea avina I know it's so sad, except I wouldn't say we as humans I'd say some humans aka monsters

I also stated hedonistic
Catholic priests are going against God in many ways by choosing to rape little boys, still applies to being absent of God.
Nobody is a good person, not a single one.
Good is a person of moral excellence.
@@JH-cy7rk not only little boys!!! I know a girl that just had a baby because a priest bribed her and her entire family into thinking many many twisted things... I had to take a walk after this one. I’m so infuriated. These children were failed by our government and their evil adopted “parents.” Each and every social worker that saw those documents should be held accountable too.
It is a rough case to listen to for sure😣
@@DanelleHallan wow this case sounds like the missing brothers Orrin and orson west 😯😯😯
Krystle Barnes Yeah I lasted not even halfway. This shit sickens me.

Was thinking the same thing. Its so sad. CPS should know better
5 hours a week with each child I am shocked that’s how much time you are supposed to spend with a child. Is the norm?
Your heart is so pure and kind. I really look up to you like the big sis I never had. You inspire me because not only have you become successful doing what you love, you're also helping so many people as well. Love you Danelle💓

Well said 😊

I see you comment a lot on Loeys channel, and you reallly sweet! 💜😇
Cops have lower IQ tho.

No you are amazing giving all these people a voice from beyond. Helping bring light to cases that would not be seen. Thank you thank you thank you.
There's actually an SVU episode based on this case! They dont say it (theyre always like "not based on a true story" but its extremely obvious). A lot of the cases you talk about are actually in SVU episodes
What episode is it, if you don't mind?
Yes every SVU episode is definitely based on a true story
That is one of the many reasons why I stan SVU.
This is just a theory but if she mentioned man slaughter, that to me means that maybe while she was abusing them they died. Or she thinks man slaughter means you brutally murder someone.
I was adopted and it saved my life, this really breaks my heart that nobody was there for these boys. Thank you for bringing light to this situation.
My thinking was that they couldn’t prove that they hadn’t run away but they could prove that they had fraudulently taken that money

I should have let him do it, honestly, because I didn't want my parents to get in trouble, so when I called I downplayed things a lot.)
There are legitimate reasons to homeschool a child, but it is often a red flag especially if there are no problems at school leading up to the decision, and it (perhaps unfairly) raises my hackles any time I hear of a parent pulling their child out of school.
i love how emotionally invested you are.. shows true character!

The Pregnant Doula . Joei Gowing: The US needs a program like that.

My problems feel smaller than ever
There isn’t a program like that in the us??? Fuck I’d have gone to sign up immediately
To make people feel a bit better. I think they prosecuted only on the money because it was a rock solid case they knew they could win and put these people away for a long time. I do think they should have gotten a failure to report, neglect, and endangerment charge. But, it all would have been harder to prove.
I lived in foster care majority of my life and the bad families certainly out weight the good.

I think the daughter knows a lot. I’m hoping she comes forward!
I don't think they ran away. No way would someone leave their siblings in a situation like that.
This happens more often than we would like to believe. It is so sad.
Hopefully since she’s had previous cps cases she won’t be allowed to foster
Ms Mystery
I would hate to take it away completely, but there definitely should be special supervision when homeschooling
foster/adopted children. Im also not against the money received BUT once fully adopted and they take on the adopted family name or officially adopted, I think they should be cut off.
Children are becoming a commodity and its sickening!
Wendy Lou 100% Agreed.
the Harts being white definitely helped them hop states and avoid CPS.
As an adoptive parent I am also pissed about this. I hope they ran away.
Tracey Alger I really wish that's the case no one dereves to live through what they did
this story is so incredibly eerie and it makes me so angry. their biological mother let that couple adopt her boys in the hopes of giving them a better life, and instead, they killed them. i hope she doesn't blame herself.
She was like 13 and her other siblings were like 10, 7 and 6 or so
Cierra Irwin That's terrible!! I hope she has a better life now. 😊 I love children, I don't understand how people who treat children poorly are cleared to foster them.
Ain Lerato Michele me either just sad it's like they just a cheque to them which is terrible there are better ways of making money if you don't even like kids let the people who do take care of them
Ain Lerato Michele and she does have a better life now
I agree those boys deserve to be known and I hope you’re aware it’s been 2 years since you made this video and I’m just now seeing it for the first time so it’s still reaching people. Maybe not as many as when you first made it but even 1 more a day is still hundreds more that are learning about these boys every year. Their name deserves to be said and I have so much love for these boys as a former foster child. My heart goes out to them.
i think Linda accidentally killed Austin while abusing him and had to cover it somehow.
Those areas are just as important however our government only cares about wars and putting money into their pockets.
I was adopted and luckily by the most amazing family of all time. I can’t even comprehend why these two boys had to live such a hard life from such a young age, they surely didn’t deserve it.
Unfortunately I’m shocked when I hear of a GOOD foster family. I know so many people who grew up in the system and it is sickening what people do :(
The mother in you is clear to see with the anguish and outrage you feel. Typical of authority to put money first and cover up thier mistakes such a heartbreaking case absolutely soul destroying💔💙
Just ordered my black glitter tumbler to support you Danelle ♥️
Baby Dragon god bless u and your family and your friend she had a heart of gold
Bernard's Channel he's "stanic" is he? 😂😂 ok Bernard have a lovely day

Clownacharls Jes thank you ☺️
This is out of topic .. but i love your profile pic and i love MM .
I hope these kids ran away and are fine somewhere.
merry twentyfirst thank you. Yes I hope the same too.
I’m seriously confused... how was the youngest brother, James in the army when all of this investigation was happening in 2011 and he was only about 1.5 years in 99... am I missing something?
Tamyra Meadows exactly, so confused.
Yes, I thought I must have missed something... super confused!!!
Yeah I've gone down a rabbit hole trying to figure this out. There's insanely little information on the boys.
Wow!! This is exactly what’s going on with the two missing brothers, Orrin and Orson (previously named Sincere and Classic).
The tumblrs are really cute! I’m not a T-shirt person so I appreciate this 💓💓
Gina Lienn Lol you said tumblrs instead of tumblers haha. Girl. Too much internet. I feel it! ❤️😂
She should make stickers!
Meghan Kelly she had stickers on the same site as her shirts! 😄
Has*
Gina Lienn agree!
Alot of high level pedophiles and satanists work for these agencies. They love positions of power.
prettymelanin exotic Especially in daycares . McMartin is a prime example of Hampstead is too.
Pizza gate really shows a lot as well. But ofc, we’ll just get called crazy conspiracy nuts.
@@JH-cy7rk Till it happens to them.
This video made me so angry...the fact that nobody advocated for these babies breaks my heart.
Those were such cute boys. My heart breaks for them and their biological mother.
Such a sad case. The work you do for the ones without a voice is so noble.
wow, how could anyone do that!
"Between 2003 and 2005... that's 6+ years"
someone please explain, I'm confused
2005 the little brother that was 15 months old in 1999 is in the army
I don't understand this case😭
thetypicalanna yes thank u those things confused me too.
Confused me too...
I see why you are so angry I think we all feel the same. Absolutely disgusting that no one looked for these boys.
almost 200k! i’m so proud of you danelle. i’ve been here since you had 900 subscribers and i just want you to know how much i appreciate what you’re doing to get these names
out to the public. 💞
That’s it....so few social workers & so many children. What happened to these kids is just awful. They were abused then gone. Over money. It’s so terrible. Thank you for your passion.
This story breaks my heart. I'm crying right alone with you Danelle. Thank you for what you are doing for these boys.
THIS
This absolutely broke my heart and had me in damn tears.
Good luck.
