Staff Bands are always _mesmerizing_ . No chance for boredom. The best of the best, giving their best. Their vibe is even impressive for non-brass musicians. Staff Bands just have "it" - a special blessing and spirit that lies upon them. Undescribable. To be put into the Salvation Army _and_ in the brass ministry _and_ into a Staff Band: A very rare and meaningful ministry. "Special Music Forces", as to say. My deep respect goes out to all of them. - GER
that's the church, long live the salvation army
An _amazing_ documentary. Mesmerizing vibe. No expenses were spared, it seems to me. World class editing. That is how it is supposed to be. I come here every now and then, and I am moved by Dr. Cobb's words, as well as by the contribution of the Japanese Staff Band. Their dignity and the audiences' appreciation comes through the internet and my computer display. Now imagine the _original_ vibe in the hall.
By the way, this video is online since 12 years, and it is still being watched and commented. Please leave it online, as long as possible. Obviously it is a place of light, encouragement and inspiration. Thank you. - GER
What great bands the Salvation Army has around the World David Kidd
Praise the Lord
Good music from staff band...
Brilliant! My Dad would've loved this! He was Bandmaster at Motherwell.
It was fantastic, wonderful. I'm proud of you. Be blessed
Awesome simply awesome. It makes me feel good to hear this.
Bravo , Bravo , Bravissimo fantastic .

"World over...Salvation Army Rocks!!!"
This is really good .just enjoyed this
esp. after a hard week of carolling and an even harder time running into Christmas with playing carols with Brisbane Water Brass City Band using the traditional SA carol book .
Che dio vi benedica tutti grandemente amen
This is to keep our gifts that God gave us and also to help keep brass bands alive. Not sure what others think and I will enjoy reading the comments

ALELUUUUUUUYA!!!!
It was a wonderful event. You may also like to know we have released Paul Sharman's 'Psalm of Thanksgiving' on our channel from the ISB120.
Celebration composed by Leslie Condon.
Zonun, that is a shame. I hope you enjoyed these highlights. If you are interested in watching the whole of the concert I've added a link to where you're able to purchase a copy.
The Corps at which I am a soldier at does not even have an ensemble for Christmas carols. On Sundays nights at one Corps I believe in Sydney, Parramatta, the band will no longer be used.
I cant believe I missed it
We'll endeavour to find out for you.
Is the concert available in its entirety ?
You can purchase the full set of DVDs here www.theisb.com/releases/196
Tell us about your Albert Hall experience?
i wonder where is vitae aeternum video..? i want to hear this song :
Around 2:40 mark what is the name of the piece the german band is playing?
Disappointingly these bands in Australia will , unless we have a huge change of direction, will no longer be seen in the 22nd century as worship groups replace them in our Church services.
Couldnot get the visa
The voice over in this you tube presentation of all the SA staff bands indicates they are the strengths (as well as the songsters) of our future. I must disagree. I (not a great musician) play with a city band with other present Salvation Army folk on the Central Coast/Newcastle area of NSW Aust.
