This guy doesn't have to say a word. What he shows you speaks for itself. Along with ninja master and others. But it took me at least a year to realise this.
Ali express katanas: im not saying its bad, im saying it was made with non traditional materials and didnt get folded multiple times but still looks badass
You probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
Looks fantastic, very well done. Your source of steel, and how you crafted it to shape, is top notch. Too bad we're not acquainted, I'd pay to have you build me one. Keep it up man.

I can't believe somebody who said they were going to make a katana actually did it. Look up forging a katana here in youtube to see the long list of train wrecks out there. Kudos
Amazing work ... but i think that the katana's main feature besides sharpness is flexibility and the ability to bend almost 90 degrees without loosing its shape ... nevertheless it was a nice forge.
Was about to comment something simmilar. A katana is more than a sharp piece of metal with a caracteristic shape. It takes a lot of time of forging and tempering to make it a laminar blade of endured steel. But still a nice work and a beautiful finish!
not to be an asshole but that is a feature of european swords, katana's bend and deform because of the differential heat treat method, leaving the back of the blade soft
@@tonarsilverwolf6485 Historically, European blades followed a similar laminated structure that involved carbon steel edges on an iron core. A Katana utilizing a structure like *san mai* can achieve a decent level of flex while still being able to return to true. At best, European blades could achieve a spring temper, but only if you had an all steel blade, and even then, those were a minority in late medieval blades. A spring temper shouldn't be comparable to modern alloys like spring steel.

Excellent craftsmanship man! When you grabbed that hack saw I started laughing out loud. I saw the video was 16 minutes long and was thinking that was all we were going to see! Great work! can't wait to see the next one!

Respects to you sir. Sanding that blade alone took you a while. I know i made a few swords myself. I was sanding and cursing. Hours and hours of elbow grease.

I love the way it's forged. No grinding machine, no sparks. It's awesomely beautiful. Must be super strong and sharp.

He is more traditional than a lot of the other guys that use power hammers, pneumatic presses and power tools.
Nice job man. I appreciate that you sharpened it by hand, while others often use machines.
Thanks 😊☺️👍
Who needs all the fancy machines? All that is needed are Skills, and Imagination and you Sir have a Ton of them!
