Guro LucayLucay was truly before his time. He truly exhibited the essence of FMA. This is a classic video addressing the pasak or olisi palad. It is important to note that this video is out of print and I believe there are no plans to reprint it. The olisi palad is an incredible self defense tool in FMA and I truly hope to be able to learn this treasure.

I was one of Ted's students back in the 80's. Yea he really was ahead of his time. He really had a varied background from Western Boxing, to various Filipino arts et al. Of course a good mix of JKD since he was one of Dan Inosanto's students.
I was talking a traditional Korean art at the time before Ted and it was a difference of night and day in mentality. Meaning there was a "mentality", "thinking" to it. BL with Dan, etc., opened up a very practical thinking and practice. In comparison today it would be like "critical thinking".

Hello I was asked by certain family members not to post it in its entirety, even though my Guro Richard Lamoureaux wanted the whole thing loaded to share the awsomeness of Guro Lucay, out of respect we shortened it , Im sorry my friend.
