To add to my previous comment on this video-I have to say that I absolutely love you! I am 73 so really have no business watching someone as young as you, but your advise is good for all ages. Everything I have seen you recommend is spot on in my opinion. I asked my dermatologist what the best skin care products and he said "Tretinoin, a good moisturizer, good cleansing and a good sunscreen." But I like to try to do everything I can for my skin, so I am really into the serums and exfoliants in addition. You are also so much fun to watch-you have a great personality and are very intelligent. Kudos to you for being able to make TH-cam your main job!

Hey, Janice. I'm 68 and I feel exactly the same way about the video. Very enjoyable and informative to watch. Wish we knew all this stuff when we were young.
This reminds me of the day we were sitting out at a restaurant in the sunshine when a beautifully & chic dressed and made up lady around the age of 75+ came to sit at the table alongside us. We were SO impressed that we stepped over to her table to tell her how beautiful she looked and that she’s was an inspiration for us. We remember her to this day and this incident happened about 10 years ago.
The one thing I’d note about the Skinceuticals is that this brand actually funded a lot of the studies that helped us to stabilise ascorbic acid (such as formulating it with Vittamin E and Ferulic), which obviously aren’t cheap! Whilst obviously other brands have used that research to make more affordable versions along the same lines that can be enjoyed by more people, that is the main reason their pricing is so high.
I just ordered some. You can't put a price on the gold standard. It lasts every three months and I can save by using less other products... not a bad deal really.
@@HevaNaisdey you should have a look at the research - it’s quite extensive and is the gold standard in terms of how everyone formulates with ascorbic acid
EltaMD UV Clear and EltaMD UV Clear TINTED aren’t the same. The clear one is the best! I have rosacea and I can only use the clear one that is not tinted
Vanicream face wash is my favorite because unlike CeraVe, it removes ALL my eye and face makeup gently with no extra rubbing. It melts my makeup off and I never have to use a makeup remover. Im going to try the face moisturizer and see how that works for me. Thanks for all the good info! PS I don’t wear waterproof mascara so not sure about how it works for that.
The Ordinary’s mask is my favorite. Because I live in a very polluted city and it is the one product that I swear by to help my skin get rid of all that. And it’s great for my upper body too.
CeraVe Healing Ointment is amazing. I use it on my lips and around my eyes before I apply Differin and 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. My husband is even hooked on using it in place of lip balm. I wouldn’t say skincare is a big concern for him, but it just works that well!
@@Stephanie-cq8mf thanks for replying. Cleanse, moisture, differin then PC 2.5 BP is that your daily routine? How is their 2.5 BP working for you? I have used 2.5 from acne.org and differin and different PC products. I wanted to try their BP. Thanks.

I wanna try I hope it's good for my skin tone I'm going to be starting the tretinoin just waiting to here weather I moisturize first before tretinoin or AFTER ??? AND WHAT TO APPLY CERAVE OR VANICREAM OR CERAVE HEALING OINTMENT???
I just bought the vanicream moisturizer. I used to use cerave on my face & I loved it! My skin is dry, too. However, I've recently learned that silicone moisturizer can make sunscreen pill (I didn't pay attention to that before), & I believe the vanicream is silicone free. I still enjoy cerave for my body though.
03:05 glycerin and silicone. It provides the feeling of moisture only. At the end of the day it will dry the skin, both of them : glycerin & silicone. 03:18 Because of products like this, the skin may become sensitive. 03:27 This shine is silicone
Thank you for showing it from the bottle and application. That really makes your channel stand out, imo. New subscriber here and so glad I found your videos!!
I’ve been using Timeless Vitamin C, DRMTLGY SPF 46 tinted moisturizer, and Cereve healing for a little over a month and I love it all! DRMTLGY’s Peptide Night Cream is pretty awesome too. ❤️
Hi Abby! Thank you for this video, very interesting. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic acid is more expensive because but there’s a lot of medical studies about this product and the PH is patented so no others can be completely identical. 🌸
I must be weird because I didn't like the Vanicream, it left my face way too shiny and looking like an oil slick, even though I have dryish skin! The CeraVe lotion just soaks in better and feels so nice to me, it will always be something I use. I actually bought the baby CeraVe lotion to try that on my face. Good info, though, I feel like you missed your calling as a dermatologist lol!
I agree, and thought it was just me. I do not like Vanicream at all. I hate the way it makes my skin feel. I have dry skin, but it doesn’t feel moisturizing at all to me. In fact it looks terrible if I try to put my makeup over it. Seriously, it’s not smooth at all. Hands down CeraVe is the winner for me!👏
I love love love your video!!! Thanks for the dupes…I’m over 50 & I appreciate someone young helping to include us sensitive, dryer, & more mature skin in the mix…Thank you sweet lady ❤️
Haven't tried Vanicream. But I like Cerave especially when I have Curel serum first then apply Cerave thereafter. It hydrates and moisturises my skin really good. Never breaks me out and always soothes my skin when it's irritated.
Great video! When I first bought the Cerave lotion, I found that it cause my face to break out. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I decided to use it as a body moisturizer--it's the perfect weight, light but still effective, and never gets sticky. Later on I started using the Cerave lotion as carrier for my Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops--and it's perfect. Now I'm on my fourth bottle!
I have always loved the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen to the Elta MD. The Elta MD always pills on me! And it actually looks really light on me and I have light skin.
I have never tried the CeraVe lotion, just the cream and the PM moisturizer. The cream is my favorite body lotion ever. I try to only buy cruelty free and find I am still buying that cream. I like the PM lotion as well, fantastic ingredients, but it is shiny and sticky on my skin. Would love to see dupes on these, cruelty free ones. Would love a part 2. Thank You Abby. Always sweet, always teaching me new things. Appreciate You! 🧡
It's great to learn about an Aquaphor alternative for those that are allergic to lanolin. However, Aquaphor isn't just a little bit better than Vaseline. Lanolin is a key ingredient to how well it works for so many people. It's why the Bite Agave Lip Mask was so popular, and nipple cream (100% lanolin) is another popular dupe. Aquaphor also includes panthenol that you mention the Cerave ointment has, and glycerin, a common humectant. Aquaphor contains no preservatives, while Cerave contains phenoxyethanol. It's a very common preservative, so most people have no problem with it, but as with any other ingredient, some people can be sensitive to it. In general, the ingredient list for Aquaphor is much shorter than Cerave, so it can be easier to avoid sensitivities. Overall, I would recommend for people to try Vaseline, Aquaphor, and the Cerave ointment even if one or two of the three haven't worked. Vaseline could work best for someone with lots of ingredient sensitivities, Aquaphor best for people who react well to lanolin, and Cerave for those who are allergic to lanolin, but need the extra boost from added ingredients on top of Vaseline.
So which is better? I just got the prescription tretinoin 1% my skin is normal NEVER any breakouts issues I'm 57 still have great skin never wore makeup my moisturizer for years was eucerin I was going to get the VANICREAM for a daily moisturizer should I get the CeraVe healing ointment and put on after tretinoin? Or BEFORE THEN ADD TRETINOIN? ALSO WHAT SHOULD I CLEAN FACE WITH ? I was using CeraVe foaming cleanser? Please any input 😅 I really wanna start the tretinoin
I have been using tretinoin for years and I'm just a bit younger than you. If i ever get extremely dry and irritated I apply light layer of Vaseline after my tretinoin has had time to soak in. I wash my face nightly with Vanicream bar soap. I rinse with warm water in the morning and do not wash again. I then apply vanicream face lotion. This is all a well balance for me. @@im_saved_by_grace
Amlactin rapid relief 15% lactic acid restoring cream in the tub, absolutely amazing. How I use it; every night on my feet, 2 times a week on my entire body, every night on my chest.
I use the Vanicream Daisly Moisturizer for Sensitive skin as well as the Cleanser. I'm very fair with pink undertones, over 60, normal to dry skin and these products work very well for me, plus they are very affordable and can be purchased at Walmart as well as on Amazon. My problem is finding a suitable mineral sunscreen that I can wear under my makeup without feeling greasy. I'll try your recommendations, Abbey, thank you.
I am so excited to try the Vanicream facial moisturizer! I'm 53, but I still have an oily T zone, and I live in SW Florida, so I needed a good moisturizer that isn't too heavy, because The Ordinarys is too heavy for summer here! I know I'm older than most of your audience, but I've learned so much from you, Cassandra Bankson, and James Welsh! Thanks 😊
After awhile your skin becomes accustomed and the effects aren't that great anymore. Tbh, for me it doesn't have that much effect anymore, I prefer using just glycolic acid peel in lower concentration but several times a week.
@@gabitzakissy Well of course? There's only so much any one product can do. Stronger stuff like the peeling solution is meant to bring down a bad skin situation down rapidly, after which your skin can be maintained with lighter things at more regular intervals. So pretty much exactly what you ended up doing unintentionally.
@@gabitzakissy Glycolic acid, especially at 7% (I think that’s the one you’re using, right?) is way less powerful than the peeling solution. That’s what I meant by it being lighter
My favorite dupe for face moisturizer is the Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer. It has ceramides and niacinimide. The DRMTLGY sunscreen sounds great. Enjoyed the video!
I adore Cerave ointment! It’s the last step in my facial skincare routine at night. I even put in on my eyelids, eyebrows, and lips. I can’t wait to try the Vanicream moisturizer and the Dermatology sunscreen. Thanks.
I love the Vanicream facial cleanser and have used it for about 2 years now. Nothing else is as moisturizing not even Cerave Hydrating cleanser (which dries out my normal-to-dry skin). I live in a semi-dry, semi-humid area in Texas. Vanicream takes off my makeup except waterproof mascara. It is available at Target and is affordable. It lasts a long time. It lathers, but does not strip the oil from my skin. Sorry, but the “all natural” route irritates my skin and causes breakouts; Vanicream does not. I used the Vanicream products when I had eczema and rosacea on my face and it was the only set of products I could tolerate. They helped my skin to heal. They also make a bar cleanser for the face, if that is your preference, that contains the same ingredients as their liquid facial cleanser.
I tried the Vanicream cream before being introduced to Cerave, and it honestly did nothing to soothe and heal my mild to moderate eczema. However, everyone is different so what works for me won't necessarily work for everyone else.
Did you like it? Cerave lotion is my hg facial moisturizer... and my skin is soooo picky. It has taken me a decade to find what works to keep my skin hydrated AND clog free...
I absolutely love the cerave healing ointment over the aquaphor 🥰 I also have never found a better sunscreen over the DRMTLGY one, loved this video, thank you, I’m looking forward to trying the vanicream moisturizer, I already love their cleanser ☺️
Another good dupe for the Skinceuticals Vitamin C is the Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow. It's only $10, has 15% LAA and Ferulic Acid, and they make new batches every week so it's always super fresh.
@@xiaofalin8668 True, but it's not an accessible price for everyone, so finding good dupes is an alternative for those people who want something similar but can't afford it.
CeraVe moisturizing lotion is my go to body lotion, especially at summer. It works wonders and is lightweight. Used to apply it also on my face but need to try the alternative you've mentioned 🤔
In my opinion, that particular Cerave lotion is fine for the body. I never really thought of it as a face product. The Cerave PM for the face is outstanding. I use it morning and night. I wonder how that compares to the Vanicream that Abbey loves so much 🤔
@@annkay4700 I have oily skin and used the body moisturiser in a pinch on my face ...hey presto, greatest match ever for my skin. Given I always use a separate SPF anyway....heaven.
Thank you so much for your hard work, professionalism, and explanation of why the products you prefer are just as beneficial and less expensive! As someone who has purchased many of the "trendier" products, I am definitely going to switch over to some of the other comparable products you mention! xx
I love hearing about similar products and like how you compared them, one thing that would make this video perfection would be the general price of each item on the screen or mentioned while you go over each product❤️ I totally subscribed though because I love honest reviews about how thinks work and you don’t claim to be an expert in skincare, just your own personal experiences. ❤️
Omg thank you for letting us know about that Skinceuticals dupe! I have a sample of their CE Ferulic acid and wanted to try the fullsize because it's so pricey. Such a great product to wear under sunscreen for added protection.
CeraVe healing ointment is LIFE. I’ve been through several of the big tubes over a couple of years and even my husband loves it (who doesn’t use any skincare).
Maybe it's important to note that the Skincuticles product has way more research on it's efficacy than the other options. This and it's patent formulation plays a big part in it's price.
Yes they did do the research to find out vitamin c works best with Vitamin e and Ferulic. Timeless also has those ingredients. I think they basically copied it. Hot and Flashys channel did a video of how vitamin c can only work at a certain ph and timeless was at the correct one. Alot of other ones werent.
You may say that. But to me they all will eventually come to the same end point. Well you see, retinol doesn’t exist when scientists first discovered Tretinoin, therefore Tretinoin is one of those data driven ingredient for acne, hyperpigmentation and aging. As years passed by, formulators found a gentler form of Vitamin A which is retinol. Though the data wasn’t as robust as Tretinoin, but both forms of V.A eventually reach to the same end point with long-term application.
@@britnysnyder4991 They came close but didn't dupe it. That's not possible without infringing on the patent. The pH is higher than the Timeless. The Timeless pH is 2.4 and the Skinceuticals 3.5. All within range but the lower pH will be more sensitising for some people. Plus of course the Timeless is 20% versus Skinceuticals 15%. Skinceuticals also say their product will last at least 6 months versus 3 for the Timeless because they have more preservatives in their formulation and they claim up to 2 years efficacy even when it oxidises. The Skinceuticals also has a stronger ferulic acid smell. None of these things mean the Timeless isn't a good product- I've used it and like it myself, but it's not quite a dupe.
@@greenknitter well yes of course its not going to be exactly the same or then they would be sued. 😂 But i just meant they took the ingredients that makes the Skinceuticals one work well and made their own version of it. Took the research basically. I dont really see why you need vitamin c to last 6 months. Who takes that long to use a vitamin c? Lol But i guess its good it can last longer on their shelves or whatever. But yes im sure the Skinceuticals one is probably a little better. But i dont think its $140 better. 😂 But thats just my opinion. Yes i know they did the research and thats amazing. But when other brands use that research and come out with a way cheaper product, people are going to go for the cheaper one.
@@britnysnyder4991 I was just saying what the company says about their product. I don't need a vitamin C to last 6 months either, I use mine up in around 3 months stored in the fridge. For what it's worth I think it's probably not worth that much more either for a product that's not greatly different judging from the side by side results I've seen people do against other vit C serums. I use and love the Geek & Gorgeous 15% vit C myself which is even cheaper than the Timeless. :)
I washed this a year ago but im getting more out of this now. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. I would love if you could mention if this products have any smell [ natural or FO added] and how strong and if it bothers you or others. So many products I can not use based on the smell alone.

Currently using the vanicream moisturizer on a highly acne prone and oily skin and I can say I loveeeee it! Does not makes me oily yet I feel moisturized and not side effects
Skinceuticals sued Drunk Elephant for patent infringement of their Vitamin C serum. That tells me it is the closest dupe out there if they got sued. It isn’t a cheap but it is cheaper than Skinceuticals.
I’m using the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C serum ($80). It does come in a pump. It’s my first time to use a Vitamin C serum. I was going to buy the Timeless but I was at Sephora and the SA recommended it so I got it. It works for me I guess but will be getting the Timeless when I run out of DE. I don’t notice any difference since I’ve been using the serum (about a month) but I suppose it’s good for my skin. 🤷♀️
Because of you I started using the Dermatology tinted moisturizer and I absolutely love it!! So glad you turned me on to it! Also, I’ve been using the Timeless vitamin C. It’s the best!!
Im on my second bottle. It doesnt irritates my skin anymore. I mean just a little irritation which was normal. But now it doesnt. I feel if it doesnt work on my skin or what else is the cause?
You'd have to pry the Elta MD UV clear out of my cold dead hands lol. I am cool toned but I don't find it makes me orange, but I will maybe try the drmtlgy one.
I love the way it felt. But woke up w pimples ALLLL over! On my ears even. Never got pimples on my ears. It felt like nothing. I hust got drmtlgy in mail today & now I’m so afraid to try it bc I saw it was a dupe on another channel...
For next winter, I wanted an occlusive and didn't know if I should use Vaseline or aquaphor. I watch a dermatologist that bastes her face at night in the winter with Cicaplast baume b5. It has panthenol and cica! Then it just melts in. I plan to do this then after about 30-60 minutes I plan to use an occlusive. Hearing about the great ingredients in the CeraVe healing ointment makes me sure that I'm going to get that this winter. Thank you so much for the wonderful tip! 😁
I was obsessed with the Nutrogena HydroBoost gel cream moisturizer, but I think the Aveno calm & soothing gel oat moisturizer is better. You should review those!
I use the vanicream daily facial moisturizer also and love it over the CeraVe. I also use the drmtlgy non tinted sunscreen and then use the elta md physical tinted over it. These are my HG for my rosacea and reactive skin. Been wanting to try the timeless vitamin c, but haven't yet
I recently added the Timeless Vitamin C serum into my skincare routine, and I am enjoying it. I have very sensitive and reactive skin and the Timeless hasn't caused any irritation. I would suggest taking it slowly, though, maybe every other day to start. I also use their CoQ10 serum, also very good. I use these in the morning prior to moisturizer and then sunscreen. In the evening I use tretinoin 0.05% cream and then 20 minutes later, I cover extra dry areas, i.e., around the eyes and mouth, with CeraVe Healing Ointment. I am 53 and do not have any static wrinkles - good skin care works!
I make my own vitamin c formula in small batches by mixing vitamin c powder, available at Trader Joes, with water in a 1 to 8 ratio by volume and put it in a small light-proof container. I make enough to last a week or two since it degrades with time and I apply it to my face, neck and the back of my hands with a cotton swab. When it dries, I dab on my own 1 to 9 mix of pure bakuchi oil, available at amazon, and glycerin with my finger tips. It's said to work like retinol but doesn't break down with the sun. Next I finish with Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion, which I just ran out of so I'll certainly try the Vanicream as you suggest.
Oh I heard rosemary has been found to be as good as rogaine in several studies but I'm guessing it would be the oil, perhaps diluted in a carrier oil and massaged into scalp that is how it'd be used best?
I have dry skin and just started using that vanicream moisturizer and it works beautifully for me! Ill probably needs something a little more in the winter but its working great this time of year! The cleanser is amazing too. Vanicream is so underrated
OG products- vanicream facial cleanser, vanicream lite lotion, Olay moisturizing original cream (its been around for years and I went through so many and its the best under makeup, absorbs, keeps my skin clear and has fragrance which is not the best, so it's all about trial and error) Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream in a tub (not HG status but I do love it once in a while at night ONLY), Clinique Moisturizing Cream not the lotion, Nivea Soft, Mac studio fix powder foundation, Mac face and body, Becca bronzer, these are the products I have purchased countless times.
Until the patent runs out on SC, I trust no other product is getting into my skin. I’ve tried all of them trying to save money and none work the same for me.
You may have already done one (and if you have I must have skimmed by it so sorry) but could you do a video on the proper order to apply the products? I'm relatively to new to anything other than cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen so it's intimidating when adding in the serums, retinol and all that jazz! Again, sorry if you've already done one! Thanks for all the info :)
I believe the timeless one is a close dupe and the DE. Perhaps I am wrong. Check out Hot and Flashy, she swears by Timeless and was on one of the morning shows last month.
And no, I have tried those vitamin C alternatives and they do not work the same. I continue to use the one for Skin Ceuticals because I have confirmed is far superior. It’s worth every penny.
Japanese sunscreens are the best tbh. You should try them they have gel-like consistency and they're very cheap. Also, Korean sunscreen is also upping its game. Japanese and Korean sunscreen is way better than western sunscreen now in terms of consistency, finish, and most of all, price.
Elta MD physical sunscreen is my holygrail sunscreen. I have been getting my sunspots and pigmentation zapped since last year using a few types of lasers and it has kept my new skin pigment free while never breaking me out
Love the Vanicream moisturizer!! All the good ingredients of CeraVe without the niacinamide (that’s in everything else) and a better formula. Plus an amazing price point 😍
Definitely going to try the vanicream!! The cerave has always been too lightweight for me, and it even feels stripping? Like when you wash your face with a stripping face wash and it’s tight/stings? Maybe it’s an allergy. So excited to have a dupe to try!
I’ve been having an awful time finding CeraVe healing ointment in a tube. The tub is just too much product for how I use it. I bought the CeraVe baby healing ointment, which is VERY similar to the original, and I’m really enjoying it. Just an FYI 🥰
Great video. First time to your channel and I liked the way you presented the material, the content, and how you kept it moving along. Will def use your recommendations.
The Vanicream Daily has Squalane in it, which my skin hates. Used it a few times & predictably broke out from it cuz I ALWAYS do - from anything with Squalane in it. Firm pass on that one for me!
I hate my skin. I haven’t tried vanicream. Was wanting to... now I’m afraid. Pure squalane oil clogs my pores. And so does butylene glycol, ethylhexyl palmitate, isopropyl myristate... a lot of liquid cleansers... It’s not fair 😖
the reason why skinceuticals c e ferulic is so expensive is bc theres clinical data that backs it up. skinceuticals spends a lot of money, time and research into this product. I know it’s an expense but you get what you pay for. however not everyone can tolerate this formula. nonetheless I love your videos!💕
Is it really better or is it so expensive because they pay so much for the data? Also, do you work for the company? Not trying to be rude at all just curious.
I have been using EltaMD for years because it doesn't break me out. Now I just ordered Dermatology version. Fingers crossed!! If this works better, and better price point, I would love you forever!!

In my opinion, the DRMTLGY brand cannot be beat! I use several of their products and absolutely love the tinted sunscreen!
Vanicream has some ingredients I wouldn't want , Such as BHT is one of their ingredients not good for our bodies. CeraVe is a better product.
03:05 glycerin and silicone.
It provides the feeling of moisture only. At the end of the day it will dry the skin, both of them : glycerin & silicone.
03:18 Because of products like this, the skin may become sensitive.
03:27 This shine is silicone
I have noticed I just don't like the silicone based moisturizers but I'm having a hard time finding one without them. Any recommendations??
Thank you for showing it from the bottle and application. That really makes your channel stand out, imo. New subscriber here and so glad I found your videos!!
I’ve been using Timeless Vitamin C, DRMTLGY SPF 46 tinted moisturizer, and Cereve healing for a little over a month and I love it all! DRMTLGY’s Peptide Night Cream is pretty awesome too. ❤️
Love the Timeless vit c
Hi Abby! Thank you for this video, very interesting. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic acid is more expensive because but there’s a lot of medical studies about this product and the PH is patented so no others can be completely identical. 🌸
Ph can’t be patented but it can be tested. Buy a ph test strip and test it for your self.
I’m not a fan of the Vanicream
lotion either. It doesn’t moisturize as well as Cerave.
was the baby cerave lotion was the same as the normal one or was it better?
@@flxwercxrpse1871 haven't tried it yet but will soon still using up regular CeraVe lotion
I agree, and thought it was just me.
I do not like Vanicream at all. I hate the way it makes my skin feel. I have dry skin, but it doesn’t feel moisturizing at all to me.
In fact it looks terrible if I try to put my makeup over it. Seriously, it’s not smooth
at all. Hands down CeraVe is the winner
for me!👏
The Vanicream is sticky! The CeraVe is smooth. As far as I'm concerned, I prefer the CeraVe over the vanicream. No comparison!
cerave literally changed my life after suffering for 10 years with my horribly ill skin.
What do you mean by ill?
You and I both. I wouldn’t change cerave for anything in the world

What CeraVe? Daily moisturizer?
Great video!
When I first bought the Cerave lotion, I found that it cause my face to break out. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I decided to use it as a body moisturizer--it's the perfect weight, light but still effective, and never gets sticky. Later on I started using the Cerave lotion as carrier for my Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops--and it's perfect. Now I'm on my fourth bottle!
Me too
Cerave burned my face. I have sensitive skin and it just didn't work for me. The vanicream moisturizer is really great
Same as you .
I have always loved the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen to the Elta MD. The Elta MD always pills on me! And it actually looks really light on me and I have light skin.
Yes! I agree. Always pills. Soooo annoying and everyone promotes it.
I hate when stuff pills. I heard someone say its often when it contains tapioca starch in the formulation that it does this.
EltaMD at least doesn't lead to cancer
Pills on me too .
Pills on me as well! but i recently started using the La Roche Posay SPF 60 and so far i am absolutely loving it and the finish is so BOMB 😍😍👌🏽👌🏽
That is a great idea! 👍👍
Yes for cruelty free skin care ❤️
Don’t forget Maelove Glowmaker! Timeless and glowmaker are my fav Vitamin C 🥰
I haven’t tried it! Need to check it out
I would also like to know your thoughts about Glowmaker!
Love Timeless!
Agree about Maelove! I discovered it via a friend, and I believe it is an exact dupe for the skinceuticals. Same with their HA serum. 😊😊
I love maelove glowmaker
@@im_saved_by_grace talk to your dermatologist
Safe for face or nah?
@@chelseazaydaraensehon1198 Not meant for face. You're better off finding a face wash containing lactic acid.
I love the good molecules overnight exfoliating treatment! It had my skin glowing the morning after using.
So good!!
Thanks 😊
Why would someone use the Ordinary peeling solution daily? It clearly states it should not be used more than twice a week.
I use it twice on my face and 3 times on my body. It works just fine and it’s great that it helps in only 10 minutes.
@@raerohan4241 I'm not using a lower concentration, I'm using the same concentration of glycolic acid, but more often.
Is it good for rosacea?
@@fever3583 It’s formulated for skin with rosacea, and some people with rosacea like it. But as with any product, it depends on your skin.
@@sherryg1838 thanks..I have mild rosacea so I will try it 🙂
I adore Cerave ointment! It’s the last step in my facial skincare routine at night. I even put in on my eyelids, eyebrows, and lips. I can’t wait to try the Vanicream moisturizer and the Dermatology sunscreen. Thanks.
Cerave moisturizing lotion and the cream are my holy grail, but I’m considering trying out the Vanicream.
What's the price difference?
Nothing will pull me away from my CeraVe Moisturizing lotion - very affordable and effective on my dry, mature skin!
I absolutely love the cerave healing ointment over the aquaphor 🥰 I also have never found a better sunscreen over the DRMTLGY one, loved this video, thank you, I’m looking forward to trying the vanicream moisturizer, I already love their cleanser ☺️
is it to be used on the face? the cerave oinment or only body?
I'm 50 years old just turned 50 love Abbey I thank you so very much you saved me so much great recommendations ever love my Vani cream !!!!
The vanicream daily hydrating is bomb. It’s the best moisturizer I’ve used on my sensitive rosacea prone skin.

Thank you for posting this. I'm so glad there are other alternatives to the overly expensive brands
Another good dupe for the Skinceuticals Vitamin C is the Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow. It's only $10, has 15% LAA and Ferulic Acid, and they make new batches every week so it's always super fresh.
Yes but it unfortunately does not have the same results. I just finished it and saw no noticeable results, none what so ever.
IRC, the pH isn't in the right range
@@FourJaysFour The ph is 3.2-3.4, and the recommended ph for Vitamin C is 3.5 or lower.
Skinceuticals is expensive for a reason. No other vitC even match with it a little bit.
Actually JUST bought the vanicream, the Cerave kind of burns my skin tbh. Glad it got a good rating 😀
Part II for sure! I use Vanicream and it is THE BEST. I use it to prevent flaking from my retin-a

I still prefer the Cerave over Vanicream. Probably because i have resilient skin.. 💕
Beginners? Lol. Bless your heart.
In my opinion, that particular Cerave lotion is fine for the body. I never really thought of it as a face product. The Cerave PM for the face is outstanding. I use it morning and night. I wonder how that compares to the Vanicream that Abbey loves so much 🤔

@@gofigure4920 I’ve purchased from Target and CVS.

Next I finish with Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion, which I just ran out of so I'll certainly try the Vanicream as you suggest.
would you consider doing a video about rosemary water / rosemary hair for hair growth?
Oh I heard rosemary has been found to be as good as rogaine in several studies but I'm guessing it would be the oil, perhaps diluted in a carrier oil and massaged into scalp that is how it'd be used best?

I LOVE the Vanicream+HA moisturizer. I use it am & pm. Such a great, simple gem. I add Paula’s Choice peptide booster to it.
Give us more! Lol.. how about more current dupes for very popular top makeup items like CT Setting Spray, Becca Setting powder, Tatcha Silk Setting Powder, etc.. and for skincare.. OC Retinols, Lash Serums, etc.. Great post btw
