See your problem is arriving to early for your train. You are clearly calm and relaxed.
If you are running late then the machine is designed to notice this and respond far quicker to your inputs.
I suggest next time arriving at the station while running. It is, I believe its the sweat in your fingers that activates the touch screen.

This is how my bank's ATM "works" as well.

I found your comment on a wtf1 video about reaction times or something. Holy shit. You literally live in the same place as I. If you live in Hayward heath that is.

The response of the machine is pathetic, even worse is it offers discounted tickets for the wrong price at the weekend. I pointed it out to the ticket office staff and they were aware of the issue and have to 'fix' it every weekend. Sometimes they forget, so watch out!

That's piss poor stuff. I imagine it wouldn't be half as bad if there were other ways to make selections - a keyboard or some sort of mouse pointer. Having an on-screen keyboard on a flat screen is just makings things needlessly difficult as well.

How the fuck are you this patient? I'd be worried about being late for my train if it wasn't delayed as usual
